Sorry I havn't updated anything in awhile. School is hectic and after I read Allegiant I died so...Enough said here's a chapter I hope its enjoyable. If it seems rushed i'm sorry I'm trying to update EVERYTHING today. So if you wonderfully beautiful people would go check out my other stories it would be much appreciated. "You really didn't do anything with her?" I asked once more just to be sure.
"Not one thing. Well except when she jumped in my face kissing me and you walked in, but i'm not lying when I say she jumped on me and practically force kissed me." We stood my arms crossed over my chest, gently biting the corner of my lips. He leaned against the wall in such a Tobias casual way I could've kissed him. If I wasn't mad at him.
"Ok...I believe you, but that doesn't make me any less mad. In fact I could punch her right now and-"
"Tris." He laughed and shook his head, his hands gently shoved into his pockets as he walked closer to me. "She's gone ok? Remember senselessly punching someone is not bravery. You're hanging out with Christina too much."
"Ok Ok..." i mumbled. He took my hand and we walked to the cafeteria, a blush forming as people watched us. "This is weird.." I mumbled to him.
"No it's not. At least we aren't making out in front of everyone like that couple." He nudged his head towards two people attacking each other in the corner.
"How do they breath? I mean I know we've kinds done that but...Tobias are you sure he isn't eating her?" He laughed mistaking my question for a joke. problem was it is not a joke. I was honestly asking a question. I mean it was dauntless, you never know what people will do. Suddenly my thoughts were cut off by the delicious aroma of freshly baked dauntless cake. Tobias was moving before I could stop him pulling me to the front of the line and grabbing two plates of cake.
"What about real food?" I tried to ask another question but he laughed again. Only this time I know he knew I wasn't joking.
"Dessert first right?'
"No but I guess it's alright." With that we both sat and ate the heavenly chocolate cake. Warm, and rich in tatse it was better than usual. Or maybe it was just better because I was eating it with Tobias.
"Oh look the happy couple is back together!" Christina teased and slid in next to me.
"Where's will?" Tobias inquired.
"Working on something for the security systems. Don't worry I told him not to shock himself."
"We weren't worried but-" Before I could finish the sentence a loud BOOM came from the training room. People looked around confused by this noise, others shrugged it off. Tobias's hand gripped my wrist as he tugged me toward the initiates dorm grabbing his gun and Christina followed.
"Probably some teens being reckless." She said as we walked.
"Everyone alright?" Tobias asked looking in on all the initiates. Five were missing.
"Stay here with Christina we're just going to make sure that everything is alright." His voice was steady, and firm and my heart skipped a beat. Not because of him, because there was another exploding noise.
Again sorry it's so short but gotta build up suspense right? Expect an update soon hopefully XD. Just know I have schoolwork and family coming in town and It shouldn't be more than a week before I update, maybe even a few days but thank you for being so patient.
