Chapter 010
Haruhi hurried down the empty hallways, arms full of instant coffee. She inwardly cursed her club mates. She ought to make the twins buy the stuff next time, as they were the ones who were always drinking it all.
And they had interrupted her time with her clients, including Kagome.
Luckily she wouldn't lose any of her profits as Kagome had selflessly agreed to keep the two girls company while she was gone.
About to round the nearest corner she clumsily tripped over her feet, sending the coffee containers sprawling all over the floor.
Groaning, she hastily dropped to her knees to pick up the mess.
Finishing the minimal task, she nearly dropped the bag again in surprise when she heard loud, angry shouting. Peering around the corner, her eyes narrowed when she saw the jerks from the baseball club.
"Shut Up! I don't care what it takes," the ring leader, Akiyama, angrily spoke.
"He's already off the team, isn't that enough?"
"No, I want Higruashi to pay!"
Haruhi leaned against the wall, the grocery bag clenched tightly to her chest, frozen. All she knew was that she had to warn Kagome.
