Aguilita Cruz (ah-gee-lee-tah crewz)

n. 1. A spankin' new author that would love for you to participate in her new poll!

2. The sister of Junior Cruz, a new author on Fan Fiction who is working on something right now!

"Don't eat that!" I screamed to Evalyn. She was about to eat some mystery….stuff. "Why?" She asked. "Ugh. Because, you don't know if that is poisonous," I replied.

"Yeah, I do! A squirrel had a bunch of them! Do squirrels eat poisonous things? No."

"Whatever."

"And it was holding it right under it's bushy tail!" Evalyn said happily. Then I noticed that the thing Ev was holding was brownish-greenish, and that it had a disgusting smell….. Oh, now I know what it is!

"Okay, change of subject," Clarisse said. "How far are we exactly from this Castle of Ozlympus, hmm?"

"Oh! I can find it on Google Maps!" Evalyn said.

"Uh, Ev-"

"No, Thalia, let her search," Clarisse said. "Meanwhile, we can take a look arou- wait. Evalyn, how does your laptop work? There isn't Wi-Fi here."

"Oh, yes there is. It gets Wi-Fi from even the farthest places. A mortal cousin of mine gave it to me. Her name's Max. It used to belong to her boyfriend, but he left her, so she gave me his laptop." Evalyn said. I reached into m pants pocket, and took out a Huntress card. "Give it to her. She might need it," I told Evalyn. She nodded.

"Ok, there is no Castle of Ozlympus on Google Maps. You have failed me, Google," Evalyn sighed. Duh. I squinted, and saw something. "Oh, there it is! I think." It wasn't exactly the Empire State Building, obviously. There could be hundreds of castles here. That one could just be some normal castle.

"We might as well head there. Thalia, it's your turn to carry me," Evalyn said.

A few hours later, we were about 1 days' worth of walking from the castle. Evalyn was humming the tune to "Party Rock Anthem", and was getting her wolf drool on me.

"Dude, would you quit getting your wolf spit on me? It's gross."

"If I were you, I'd shut it. It's practically your fault I'm part werewolf," Evalyn retorted. Oh, yeah. It is. I can remember the day I joined Clarisse and Evalyn in hunting, and I pissed of this disgusting dog-thing, and it bit the first thing (or person) next to it. Aaaaaaand that person was, of course, Evalyn. I replayed that day in my head. I shuddered, feeling this pain that is indescribable. It's like, my heart literally , it's... indescribable. Then I was out of the flashback, and found that we were in front of a small shop, with the whole group already holding out some new clothes they bought. How long exactly was that flashback?

Evalyn went up to me and told me she bought black clothes for herself, and green clothes for me. Why does she still buy me stuff? Maybe she wants me to look good before she kills me. What, I'm not overreacting about this. You'd be acting like me if you were destined to die by your best friend's hand. Well, then again, I never did finish that vision Hera showed me. Maybe hera planned to manipulate me into fearing for my life and killing Evalyn. gasp! She was opposed to giving Evalyn god powers. Or maybe Ev plans to kill me, but then realizes our friendship is too strong. "Nothing is srtonger than true friendship," the prophecy said. And, well, then there's that cliche that Evalyn has a twin sister, but, well, it's not a cliche for nothing.

Anyway, Evalyn slipped the black clothes on, and I realized how much she looks like Nico. Their eyes are dark, and when they're pissed, they get noticeably flared nostrils. They both use their hands to talk, like if you hold their arms down they can't talk. (I should try that.)

Evalyn turned, and I almost died. Laughing. O the back of her shirt, there were a baby kitten and a mommy kitten, with the caption "MOMMY LOVES ME!"

Later...

I was beginning to think that maybe the castle we were after was The Castle of Ozlympus. It looked like it was glowing from where we were standing.

"Let's get a good night's sleep, people!" Clarisse screamed. "We don't want to be drooling all over The Wizard's carpet. Floor. Whatever."

That sounded like a great idea. I lay down, close to the fire grover started, and noticed Evalyn was already snoring! She was having a dream, that much I could tell, because she was muttering No, Castor, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to kill you! It's true, you know. She was the enemy half-blood Percy mentioned that killed Castor, the son of Dionysus, at the battle at the Labyrinth. She didn't have the heart to tell him, and neither did we. That has been on her conscience for about 3 years. I wonder if she killed any other people, and she didn't tell me.

That night, I couldn't sleep. You know, afraid of my life and all. Well, okay, I did fall asleep, just a little late. Tomorrow, I thought, I'll confront her . Obviously, she won't admit into wanting to kill me right away. I'll have to try hard. Just ask and that's it. That next morning, I realized, boy how wrong I was.
