Harry and Ginny arrived at the burrows door, Ginny leaned on her husband, a fact he knew well due to their bond. Harry wrapped his arm around her back and kissed the side of her head in a fairly unsuccessful attempt to calm her down, before knocking on the door.
The whole family was sat at the kitchen table ,although none of them were speaking when they heard a knock on the door. They all tensed up except the twins, who were really quite excited about seeing their sister again, especially if she was now older than they were. Mr. Weasley stood up took a deep breath and walked over to the door and opened it, "Ginny, Harry, it's good to see you, please come in." He said stepping aside from the door and the pair entered.
"Hey George they were right, she is old." Fred stage whispered in an attemt to lighten the mood. George sensing that this tactic wasn't going to work very well just grinned at his twin.
Harry and Ginny stood awkwardly next to the table not sure what to do or say but Ginny did send a small smile to Fred, acknowledging that he had tried.
"Ummmm hi guys." Ginny said after several long silent awkward moments.
"Hi." Replied her brothers, but neither Ron nor Percy looked up from the table.
Her mother however had not said anything at all but was just staring at Harry's hand on He daughters shoulder.
Mr Weasley sensing that his wife wasn't going to say anything suggested to Harry and Ginny that they should sit down and motioned to two seats either side of Ron and Percy.
Ginny was not happy about this and it showed in her face.
Calm down love
They won't even let us sit together
Fred and George both knew her sister and Harry were both incredibly uncomfortable being here and angry that they're seats weren't next to each other so after a shared look both stood up sat in the seats offered to Ginny and Harry and then George offered them their past seats.
Fred and George are being really great about all of this
Well you did say out of all your family you expected them and Bill to be the best
Yeah I know but I didn't expect them to be this good, and maybe Charlie to, he might be good about us I'm just not 100% sure.
Harry and Ginny sat down and held hands under the table, "thanks, guys, we really appreciate it." Harry said to the twins who were over a year younger than him, biologically anyway.
"Molly, when did you say dinner will be ready." Mr Weasley said looking at his wife, who's eyes had followed Ginny and Harry everywhere they had gone.
"Oh yes, dinner, dinner should be ready now, Yes right not actually, I'll just go get it." Mrs Weasley said stumbling over her words and jumping up and rushing over to the oven taking out dinner and serving very clumsily.
The meal, while very nice, was ate in near silence, the twins did try to lighten the mood once or twice but it didn't really catch on.
Harry this is awful
I know sweetheart, maybe it will get better
Yeah maybe
Maybe we should start up a conversation
That might work, any ideas?
We could ask your brothers about hogwarts, I know Dumbledore told us quite a bit but they don't know that, and we will never go ourselves
Good idea, I knew there was a reason I loved you
Yep, because of all by great ideas
Wow wow wow, no one said great, I said good, don't get ahead of yourself
Shut up
"So, what's hogwarts like, I know we've heard a bit about it but we have never actually been." Ginny asked looking at her brothers who all sat next to each other.
"Well," Fred started, "it's a huge magical castle which is designed to make sure no one can ever find their way anywhere, unless ofcourse they have a map."
"Yeah a map would be handy," George jumped in with a knowing smirk, "a magical map maybe which told all of hogwarts great secrets and showed were every person was."
"you're very right, handsome chap," Fred took over again, "that would be handy, anyway the stair cases move all over the place sometimes I swear they know where you want to go and send you in the opposite direction."
"However the thing of legions are the feasts," George said with a glint in his eye and his hands waving all over the place dramatically, "these magnificent feasts are created by a collection of house elves like no other."
"I'm sure they love that." Said Ginny with a slight giggle thinking about how enthusiastic Milo can be.
"Oh they do. It is there pride and joy." Fred replied.
"Good food too." Ron piped in speaking for the first time since he said hello.
Ginny smiled at him, happy he was speaking, "I'm sure, house elves take cooking very seriously."
"the common room too, very nice." Fred carried on his description, "superb beds in the dormitories, I especially like the curtains."
"And," George started with a grin, "we have heard rumours of this thing called a library, I think that's what it's called anyway, they keep books and stuff in there, it's where all the nerds go, like our dear Percy here!" George said as he put his arm around his brother.
"that's enough boys, be nice to your brother." Mr Weasley said with a sigh.
"Il leave you know that the library is a very nice place it's several stories tall and has more books than you could imagine, it's auite impressive actually." Percy said with a slightly smug smile.
What could he possibly be smug about
That's just his face
"Sounds cool." Ginny said.
"Aren't you going next year, Ginny, and Harry aren't you suppose to be in my year?" Ron asked.
"Ron we aren't going to hogwarts, we are too old anyway, we would look rediculous in first year, anyway we already did our newts, we really don't need to go to school."
"Oh." Said Ron with an odd look on his face.
"Wait what do you mean you have already done your newts, when? I'm still older than you and I haven't done my newts, and I'm not trying to be funny or anything but you know I'm quite well smart." Percy said with a slight blush at complimenting himself but I determined look to find out.
"We studied when in the time room, so we did them in the summer. We know you're smart Percy, we just had to learn really tight control of our magic quickly. Don't take it personally we aren't trying to be better than you." Ginny said giving Percy a long look.
"Oh right, ok. What subjects did you do? I did my owls this year."
"We did transfiguration, charms, potions, herbology, arithmacy, ancient runes, defence against the dark arts and History." Harry said, making sure he got them all by counting on his fingers.
"That's quite impressive!" Percy said with his eyebrows raised.
Harry and Ginny both blushed slightly and nodded their thanks.
Silence once again stretched fell on the group.
"how about we move this into the living room." Mr. Weasley suggested looking at his wife who was yet to speak, properly anyway.
Every stood up in silence and walked into the living room and sat down.
"So Ginny Harry what's it's like?" Asked Fred.
"What's what like? The soul bond? Or being older?" Ginny asked.
"Ehhh both I guess." Fred replied, not even entirely sure what his own question was, he just wanted to say something to break the silence.
"Well the soul bond is great," Ginny said as she got a dreamy look in her eye as she looked at Harry, "we can talk to each other in our heads, and sense emotions and that kind of thing, we can also teleport to each other, and we are married ofcourse."
"Ofcourse." Replied George with a pretend serious look on his face as he nodded and then waved her on to continue.
"Being older is a bit strange, not for us, I mean we lived all those years, but that you and George and Ron are younger than me, that's weird, I was used to being the youngest, but now I guess Ron is."
At this Ron got a deep scowl and he kicked the ground a bit earning himself an intense glare from his father who didn't say anything.
"How did the time room thing work, exactly?" Percy asked.
Ginny grinned, "while you all went around the sun once we stayed in the 1 spot and because you were moving fast your time went slower, but we stayed in the exact same spot and rejoined once the earth had come back."
Percy looked very confused, so Harry said, "Nicolas said you could learn about it in something called physics, it's a muggle thing."
"Ah ok, I think I might do that." Said Percy with a distracted yet pensive look on his face.
George's next question, while asked with innocent intentions was a mistake, "So are you really married, like legally?"
Harry and Ginny smiled at each other and then at the same time both said, "yep!"
"No, they aren't, they are underage, either way, so they need my permission. They do no have my permission." Mrs Weasley spoke up for the first time since entering the living room.
"Mum, we are married. We don't need your permission, although you blessing might be nice. We are also legally adults due to our bond, we got married when we completed our bond. Please Mum, just accept it, we ARE married." Ginny said with a sad look on her face.
"NO Ginny you are my little girl, surely you would rather be with your family than that boy. Please come home, to your family." Mrs Weasley said with tears running dowm her face.
Ginny was angry now, "mother, I don't think you get it, I love Harry more than all of you combined, no offence. I could never leave him, it would kill me."
How dare she, she can't do that, or say that, Harry we are leaving.
"Harry and me are leaving now." Ginny said, in a strangely calm voice and stood up to leave dragging Harry along with her.
Thry walked out side when they heard, "WAIT." So they turned around and saw the twins running towards them, "you're our age aren't you?" Asked George.
"Yeah." Replied Harry because Ginny had started to cry.
"Mates?" Asked Fred.
At this, Ginny launched herself at her brothers and hugged them both, "thankyou." She said.
Just as the twins were about to go back inside, Mr. Weasley walked our, "Ginny Harry, I am terribly sorry, I as well as my wife had made some terrible mistakes, could you ever forgive me."
"Yeah daddy we could forgive you." Ginny said hugging her father too before stepping back to Harry's side and hugging him.
"Now I should really know this and I'm dreadfully sorry that I don't, but where are you staying, is it ok, if you need a place to stay you come here and I will sort you out, ok?" Mr. Weasley said with guilt all over his face.
"We are fine daddy we are staying at Potter Manor we even have a house elf called, Milo. Why don't we add you and Fred and George to the floo and then you can come over to see it." Ginny said, still cuddled into Harry's side for comfort.
"We would love that, sweetie." Said Mr. Weasley with a small smile.
"Yeah!" Agreed Fred.
"manor you say." Continued George, "this manor wouldn't happen to have a swimming pool or a quidditch pitch would it?"
"Do you know what, I think it might just have both." Ginny said with a large grin.
"Awesome!" Both the twins said at the same time.
