Chapter 10 Where Are You

Please please please don't hate me I'm sorry I took a decade to update xp I hope some readers are still viewing this, I'll try to update even more this week for you all!

*Ally's POV*

Ugh stupid car! Did you seriously break down on me? I went to grab my phone to call for some help but it's dead! Crap crap crap! How am I gonna get home?

I slipped my flats back on and walked to the road to wave down a car to help.
It took like 30 minutes but finally someone stopped. He had brown shaggy hair and bright green eyes. He seemed pretty tall too he like, towered over me.

"Need some help miss?" he asked politely.

"Yeah I do actually, you see my car broken down over there and my phone died so I can't call for help. I explained to the guy. He nodded and we walked over to see what was wrong with my car.

"I can jumpstart it to give it a boost but you should really get the battery checked. This is about done for." he replied sometime later closing my hood.

"Thanks so much! Umm...What's your name?" I asked awkwardly.

"Mason." he replied with a small smile.

"Thank you Mason! I'm Ally by the way, I'll get the car checked right when I get back."

"Sounds good Miss Ally, best of luck to you." I waved as he headed back to his car. Man, what a nice guy. I drove back to town as fast as I could without breaking the law. Once I got to Trish's house I pounded on the door hoping someone was home. The door whipped open and she gave me a death squeeze.

"OH MY GOD ALLY I THOUGHT SOMEONE KIDNAPPED YOU!" she screamed as the air was slowly leaving my lungs.

"I'm sorry my car broke down and my phone died. I just got back." I told her.

"Ally?!" I looked over seeing Austin run over and take me into his arms.

"God I was so worried about you! Are you alright?" he asked still concerned.

"Yes, yes I'm fine. My car isn't though I need to get the battery checked ASAP." I replied hugging him.

"I'll take it first thing in the morning just come inside, Dez was gonna put out an APB for you." Austin said pulling me inside. I smiled shaking my head.

Typical Dez.

"Okay so how did you get back?" Trish asked.

"I waved someone down on the main road and they helped jumpstart my car. He was really nice." I explained.

"He?" Austin asked with an interesting look on his face.

"Yes Austin a he." I replied pushing him playfully. I was seriously just glad to be back with my friends. My phone was currently charging but starting ringing all of the sudden.

"Hello? Yes this is her. Really? Yes of course! Oh thank you so much! You too, okay. Good bye." I hung up squealing and doing a mini dance in my seat.

"What is it?" Dez asked munching on a banana.

"Okay so the interview I went for today was to se if I'd fit the part for this new movie called "Long Ways Home". It's about a girl who goes off to college only to find out her tuition was never fully paid. So she is stuck in a state 6,000 miles away from home and she needs to find a way to pay for the rest of her tuition before scool starts. Mind you she refuses to take loans and meets a blonde girl who becomes her best friends whileshe has a crush on this brunette. It's really good!"

"Okay so did you get a part?" Austin asked excited for me.

"Yes I got the main part! Im gonna be Katherine!" I exclaimed as we all jumped up and down. Wow I'm on fire these days! Trish has booked some performances for me to sing at clubs or little coffee shops that people love to sing at. I'm getting more popular too I actually have 4k+ followers on Instagram!

I could tell Austin was genuinely happy for me too. He's sucha supportive boyfriend and I love him for that. My phone buzzed with a text message that I read happily and eagerly.

But once I took in the information my smile fell into a frown.

"Guys...The shooting of the movie is gonna be in Ohio, I'll be gone for a year."

Ahhh I know this is short but I needed a little filler chapter before I move onto the major parts of this story. So what do you think? Should Mason make another appearance?
