Hey everyone! Guess who's back! I apologies for my extremely long absence and I hope that not too many of you have given up on me and my story. I will try to do better and with any luck, I should be able to update this and any other story I decide to post way more often. So on with the story!

Chapter 10

(Italy's P.O.V)

I nodded to the wounded Picto who seemed to be more advanced than the ones I had seen previously and dimmed my smile to just a small grin. I couldn't extinguish it completely because I had promised Germany to keep smiling for him and that is exactly what I intended to do for him.

The advanced Picto got up slowly and quite shakily to kneel before me. Her hands shaking so hard I felt sorry for her. I wanted to help her in some way, though I doubted I could and I knew that Germany wouldn't want me to. He'd tell me not to be stupid, that they had hurt all of the others and himself and that she didn't deserve help. But I just didn't see it that way.

"I'm sorry if I hurt you in some way. I just want my friends and loved one back. Please, do something quickly." I said to her in a whisper.

"I will. We have an agreement and I am not one to break those." she snapped at me. Words brisk.

"Picto's! Stop your running and listen to your commander!" she shouted.

All the Pictos that had been running from earlier stopped in their tracks and turned towards the advanced one. Listening to what she had to say with the utmost obedience.

"This..human..and I have reached an agreement. To save your lives and mine, I must give back the ones we have taken-"

"I want you to leave too." I interrupted.

She turned towards me and said nothing. Just stood there as if she was looking at me or (more accurately) glaring at me. As if she had the eyes to be able to even accomplish that feet. But I continued on even though I was scared and really wanted to just run into the woods and never be seen again. Germany was holding me in my place.

"I want you to fix everything and leave this place and never come back ever."

With an almost annoyed sigh the advanced Picto turned back to her troops and began to speak with them once more on the terms of our agreement.

"I must give back the ones we have taken and leave this planet never to return. Now I know most of you are, for what you can muster for those who are pure, confused by this. But being as it is not the ordinary human we are dealing with here, I must agree or risk the rest of your lives for idiotic causes. So I have chosen… to accept the terms of this condition."

The Picto turned back to me and with a wave of her arms, a green wave of light rolled through the crowded beach and one by one the people who had been turned into the endless sea of average Pictos, began to fall to the sand. Completely back to their normal selves.

My excitement grew at the sight of this and I quickly looked down at where Germany still lay…only to see the face of a Picto. My heart dropped in my chest. Something was terribly wrong.
