p style="text-align: center;"Hello everyone! Striker here~/p
p style="text-align: left;"So about taking so long to upload a new chapter...a lot of things have been going on in my life. Senior year, graduation, and a whole load of things that got in the way. I will say that hopefully I'll be back in business around the middle of this month or the start of July. Since the first chapter seemed to be...buggy, and the fact that every chapter I have uploaded here was much shorter than a normal chapter should be, (about 1000 words per chapter, the minimum for an actual chapter is around 2000 words) I have decided to re-master "Let the Thunder Roll."/p
p style="text-align: left;"It has been little over two years since the first chapter, and I can say that my writing and story telling skills have definitely improved since then. Also, with the benefit of actually having a computer to type on, thanks mom for the laptop, writing chapters will be so much easier. Speaking of which, I have a confession. I have had big plans for this story, and to contribute to that, this Remastered version will be told from a Nuzlocke perspective. What I mean by this is that I will play through either Pokémon Platinum or Diamond (still debating), doing a nuzlocke (yes, I'm cheating in a shiny eevee for my starter, shush now and yes I will be choosing a piplup just so that Barry will get the type advantage), writing everything down in a log and write about it in a different way as opposed to the story's original perspective. For those who don't know what a nuzlocke is, its a challenge for pokemon players that want a tougher playthrough, and I will be doing a much...tougher challenge for this playthrough. The rules are:/p
p style="text-align: left;"-Any pokemon that faints is considered dead and cannot be revived, and must be placed in a PC box marked "Dead" or be released./p
p style="text-align: left;"-You may only catch the first encounter in each area (when the sign for the area appears on screen when you enter said area.) If you cannot catch that encounter, there aren't second chances./p
p style="text-align: left;"-When the player whites out, its Game Over, even if there are pokemon in the pc that the player can use./p
p style="text-align: left;"-The Nuzlocke starts when the player receives pokeballs./p
p style="text-align: left;"-No resetting or cheating death!/p
p style="text-align: left;" Now that the rules are placed there, I'm stating my rules that I will add (and some suggested by friends):/p
p style="text-align: left;"-Each Mart will only have 10 of all items in stock, and the player can only buy a total of 20 items. Spending wisely is needed. The stores will "increase their stock" after 24 hours, and the player can rebuy supplies afterwards./p
p style="text-align: left;"-any other rule that comes to mind./p
p style="text-align: left;" Also alongside the remastered version (and yes, I am keeping the encounters as Shinx and Starly, to keep it fair to the original.) I have started another project involving the Hoenn region, and I may post chapters of it alongside Let the Thunder Roll. Keep watch for that and ill see you all in a while, bubai!/p
