Becca's Pov
You would think that on the way to La Push Charlie would have given me one of his talks. But that didn't happen. The only thing he said to me on our way to La Push was that is if Joshua messed with me or Bella to let him know, and he would take care of it. I am so grateful to have a father who loves and cares so much. Unlike our birth father who abandoned us. When we got to La Push Seth was at the Blacks waiting on me. He looked worried, I could feel his worry. I guess that is something to add to a double imprint. I got out of the car Seth met me half way to the house. He grabbed me in a hug. I didn't realize that my dad was standing behind me. Seth let me go. I turned around to see my dad looking at Seth and me.
"Becca why don't you go ahead in the house we'll be in there shortly." Charlie told me.
"Okay dad." I walked into the house. Jake was sitting on the couch with Bella; Uncle Billy was sitting in his wheel chair. I walked over to him and kissed him on the cheek. I looked over at Bella.
"Dad is outside. I talked him into coming down for a little while." I took a sit on the couch with Jake and Bella. They were so far out in the driveway I couldn't hear what they were talking about. I hope to god that Charlie doesn't scare Seth. I wonder if I could sneak out and spy on them. Would I get caught by Seth or Charlie, more than likely Bella or Billy would tell Charlie on me. Those two gossips worse than old women and that is saying something when they are men. But I still love them. I started to get extremely nerves Charlie talking to Seth, I start to pace the living room. Uncle Billy is staring at me.
"Becca why don't you go and phase and run for a little bit, we can make up an excuse to tell Charlie." Uncle Billy says to me. I look from him to Jacob and He nods his head.
"Is that an order Jake?" I ask him. I won't do something unless it's an order from Jake or the council.
"Yes. Now go before I up and toss you outside myself." He says laugh. Bella doesn't think it is funny she smacks him across the chest. I just shake my head and walk out the back door and into the woods, so I could phase. Collin and Brady were on patrol.
Becca-What's up boys?
Collin- What are you doing here Becca?
Becca- Oh you know got way to nerves just about phase at Jake's.
Brady- Let me guess Jake ordered you to run it off.
Becca- You got it. So let's run around and see if we can find any leeches. I am itching to kill a vamp.
Brady- She is defiantly is Paul's sister.
Collin- Yeah she is.
Becca- You know I can hear you right.
Brady, Collin- Yeah.
I just rolled my eyes at them. I took off running. We got to the north end of La Push when I smelt a leech. I pushed myself a little harder. To catch the leech, the closer I get the stronger the stench got. So I pushed myself even harder. Just as we got to the boarder going to the Sullen's land. I started digging my names into the land. Now I was extremely pissed. I almost had, but that damn thing had to get away. By now Collin and Brady have caught up to me. I am so pissed now I don't think I can phase back to human. I started to pace back and forth.
Collin- What the hell is going with you?
Becca- One Collin watch your mouth you are younger than me so no cussing. And two I just about had a damn leech.
Brady- You just got onto Collin for cussing why do you get too?
Becca- Because I am older than you, I get to do whatever the hell I want.
I had very bad timing when I thought that. Just as I was thinking that Sam phased in and caught what I said.
Sam- Becca Lynn Swan-Lahote-Uley! If I catch you saying that again I will ground you! Do you understand me?
Brady and Collin- Oooo burn.
I turned my head to the boys and growled at them.
Becca- Sorry Sam, I understand they are getting on my nerves. Worse than Quil gets on my nerves and that is saying something.
Sam- don't let them get to you, you are their beta you can tell them what to do. I know you; you can do it.
Becca- I know I can do it.
Sam- Why don't you run back to Billy's and spend some time with your dad, before he goes home.
Becca- Yeah okay I'll see tomorrow when I get done at school.
I took off running back to Billy's house. To spend time with Charlie before he went home to Renee. The closer I got to Uncle Billy's house I could hear Jake and Bella talking. I ran a little faster until I am right behind the house still in the woods. They were talking about Rachel coming back tomorrow. Jake seems worried that one of the guys is going to imprint on his sister. I phased out and got dressed. I walked over to where they were.
"Hey."
"Hey have a nice run?" Bella asked me.
"Yeah, but we had a vamp on our land. But I chased her off."
"Do you know if it's the same one that has been after you for a while now?" Jake asks me.
"I think it was I am not sure, I will double check tomorrow at school. I am sure I will have some classes with the Sullen's." I told them. I walked into the house. Seth, Charlie and Uncle Billy were sitting in the living room.
"Sue and Emily are coming over." Uncle Billy told me.
"Cool, I needed to talk to Emily anyways." I sat down in the empty chair in the living.
"So where did you go kiddo?" Charlie asked me.
"I have tribal business to take care of."
"Yeah, Charlie; little Becca here has been helping out with the council from time to time." Uncle Billy told Charlie.
"Well aren't you turning into the little version of me over there?"
"Yeah, yeah don't rub it in. I do what I can, when I can."
"That is very grown up of you. Before I know you will be married with kids." WHAT! What the hell is my dad thinking married with kids, is he crazy?
"No! No! Dad that is years down the road from now more like when I am in my twenties, maybe even in my thirties."
"Well that is good to hear. I am too young to be a grandpa." I couldn't help but laugh at Charlie. At least he doesn't have to worry about his youngest daughter getting knocked up while I am still so young.
"Then maybe you should take to Bella, her and Jake are getting pretty close. You and Uncle Billy might be grandparents sooner than you would like." I smiled.
"I better not! I raised Jacob better than that." Uncle Billy said crossing his arms across his chest. Just then Sue and Emily walked in the door. Emily carrying a box of food, I could smell mashed potatoes, baked beans, rolls and meat loaf. Can we say that this wolf was very hungry? I could attack Emily, but I won't. Sam would kill me. I got up and helped Sue and Emily with carrying everything in from the car to the kitchen. I just had to get Emily alone so I could talk to her.
"Hey Emily you think I could talk to you for minute?" I asked once we were alone.
"Yeah sure Becca." Emily said as she whipped her hands on the dish towel. She followed me out onto the back porch of Jake's house. I leaned against the railing on the back porch. Emily looked at me waiting for me to start.
"So I don't know if Sam has told you yet, but Rachel is coming home tomorrow and I wanted to know if you could bake something; maybe as a welcome home gift for her."
"Yeah of course whatever you want Becca." Emily stated.
"Thank you so much Emily." I hugged her and went back into the house and walked into living room Charlie was standing by the front door I looked at him and then at Bella and back again.
"Becca I have to go home. Your mom is going to be home soon." Charlie told me.
"Okay dad. I'll walk you out." I walked my dad out of the house. When we got to his car Charlie turned to look at me.
"You make sure you go to school tomorrow. Please I am so tired of your mother saying she is going to drag you home."
"Dad I am going to school tomorrow, I promise and tell mom that I love her but she needs to understand that I want to get to know my other family. I love you guys and I will be home this weekend."
"Okay, you behave for Sam and Paul."
"Always am." I wave byer to my dad and start to walk back to the house when I am stopped by Jake. I looked at him in question.
"I wanted to talk to you about Bella's birthday is in a couple of weeks and I was wondering if you could possibly help…."
"Plan a party for you. Yeah Jake you just have to ask. I was thinking we could just have a big bonfire. I know how much Bella hates surprises so I will take care of everything. Don't you worry it's in good hands."
"I hope you are right." Jake threw an arm over my shoulder and we walked into the house. Everybody was there by then, everybody gathered in the living room. I took a seat next to Seth, after he made Quil move. I didn't get to sit beside Seth for long.
"Dinner is ready! Emily yelled from the doorway of the kitchen. The whole pack imprints and all including Sue and Billy headed for the kitchen. But of course Emily, Sue and Bella were standing in the doorway stopping everybody.
"Non-wolves and women first, come on Becca, Leah and Billy you guys get to go first." Sue announced.
"How come Becca and Leah get to go first they are wolves." Quil protests.
"Did you forget Quil but Becca and Leah are women? Emily asked Quil.
"No. I didn't forget." Quil muttered.
"Well now that is settled, can we eat now?" Paul said. I just rolled my eyes and pushed past all the boys to get into the kitchen, where my sister had a plate waiting for me. I took it from her and walked out to the back porch I sat down and started eating. A shadow casted over me and Seth was standing there with two cans of cola and his plate over flowing with food. One thing that hasn't changed is my appetite I still eat very little. Maybe my big appetite hasn't come in yet. I took the drink from Seth and sat it beside me.
"So you start school again tomorrow?" Seth asked.
"Yeah, Jake says since I didn't phase when I was fighting with Joshua. So he thinks I am ready to go back to school with Bella tomorrow."
"Well that is good; you get to go back to school. I just don't see how you do so much for a fifteen year old."
"I learnt from the best, Renee was always like this when we were growing up."
"Well you are the only imprint that I know of that can handle everything. Let alone you are a wolf too."
"Well maybe I am more special than just a wolf and imprint." By then Seth and I were done eating. Paul came out of the house looking for me.
"Come Becca, we need to get home. You need to get to bed; you have school in the morning." Paul told me. I got up from the porch and followed him back through the house. When we got to the front door Bella and Jake were waiting for us.
"I will be there at seven to get you for school. Please be up and ready." Bella informed me.
"I'll be ready Bella. You don't need to worry." I told her walking out of the door. Paul follows me. We head down the road to Anna's house. Tomorrow was going to be interesting. With my new haircut, height, muscle, darker skin tone and hair.
