Hey guys thanks so to all the people who reviewed and followed the story I love reading them. Sadly I don't own criminal minds.

Slowly backing out of the house Rossi couldn't help but feel guilt about leaving Hotch alone and unarmed with the unsub, even if it was his idea. Once he was clear from the line of fire Rossi turned his back to the house and ran down the driveway in search of Morgan and the rest of the team. Looking up Rossi locked eyes with Morgan and Reid who were running in his direction.

"Rossi what the hells going on in there" asked Morgan, reaching the older agent.

"Unsubs armed and has Hotch held hostage, there's a window on the far side of the house with visibly for someone to take the shot" said Rossi filling them in.

"I'll take the shot" said Morgan in a way that left no room for an argument.

Nodding his head in agreement the three agents made there way back towards the house.

"Where's JJ" asked Rossi noticing her absence.

"When we heard that you and Hotch where being held at gunpoint she left to go sit with Emily" answered Reid.

"Good Emily shouldn't be alone" said Rossi

Continuing back toward the house it was agreed that Morgan would break off from the group and set up to make the shot. Rossi and Reid would run defense for Morgan and make sure he was safe while staying out of sight. Before they could enact their plan they heard a single gunshot ring out. Dropping any plan they had all three agents ran in the direction of the house. Busting in the front door they found Wright laid on the floor in a pool of his own blood, Hotch knelt beside him preforming CPR as he tried in vain to keep Wright alive. Walking over Reid bent down and felt Wrights neck checking for a pulse. Not finding a pulse Reid gently shook his head as Rossi walked over and placed a comforting hand on Hotch's shoulder. Sighing Hotch stood up and looked at the other agents.

"He confessed than shot himself in the chest I tried to keep him alive but..." started Hotch before he was cut off by Morgan

"It's ok man we know" said Morgan.

Nodding Hotch recomposed himself before quickly snapping into chief mode. "Ok let's get this CSU in here to process this place" he orderd.

Steeping outside Hotch walked off to give his statement to one of the officers on scene. The rest of the team went to inform CSU of the new development. While speaking to CSU a young officer approached the agents. It was apparent she had been running.

"Excuse me I'm looking for Agent Rossi" said the officer.

"I'm Agent Rossi" said Dave stepping forward.

"Agent Jareau sent me she's taking Agent Prentiss to the hospital apparently it's and emergency and she wants you to call her as soon as possible" said Officer Clark.

"Ok thank you officer" said Rossi.

With a nod Officer Clark walked away sensing the agents wanted to speak in private. With Clark gone Rossi turned his attention back to Morgan and Reid who stood shocked by what they had heard.

"Morgan you run and get the SUV, Reid tell CSU we're leaving that it's an emergency, I going to get Hotch" said Rossi.

Turning on his heel Morgan took off in the direction of the SUVs while Reid turned to find CSU. Looking around Rossi quickly spotted Hotch speaking to the lead detective on the case.

"Hotch can I speak to you" said Rossi interrupting the lead detective.

Excusing himself from the conversation Hotch walked over to Rossi.

"We need to go Morgan's getting the SUV now" said Rossi walking back towards the road where Morgan would be pulling up any minute.

"Rossi we can't leave yet we still have to write our reports and finish up here" said Hotch following Rossi down the drive

"Aaron something happened to Emily JJ's taking her to the hospital" sighed Rossi.

"Why what happened" said Hotch feeling as though all the air in his chest had been sucked from his body

"I don't know an officer just told me they left. We'll call on the way and find out" answered Rossi.

Just as he had finished telling Hotch when Reid ran up to them. Moments later Morgan came flying down the road. Jumping into the SUV Morgan hit the gas and headed on the direction of the hospital.

Pulling out his phone Hotch immediately dialed Emily's number and pressed send. However it was JJ who answered the phone.

"Hotch" said JJ answering the phone.

"JJ what's going on is Emily ok" asked Hotch.

"I don't know anything yet we just got here and they took her back right away" said JJ.

"What happened" asked Hotch.

"She was feeling sharp pains in her stomach" said JJ

"The baby" said Hotch

"I don't know anything yet they just took her back" restated JJ.

"Ok well we're all on the way" said Hotch

"If they let me back I'll tell her" said JJ "and Hotch"

"ya" he asked

"just hurry... shes scared and all she wants is you" admitted JJ

Knowing he was 20 mins out and there was no way for him to get there any faster Hotch had an idea. "Tell her to call Jack"

"What" asked JJ "Listen Hotch we don't know anything yet there's no reason to scare Jack or Jessica" she reasoned

"No just have her talk to Jack he can always make her smile, regardless of the situation" said Hotch.

"Aaron your brilliant listen I'm going to go flash my badge and scare some nurses hopefully one of them will let me back there with Em" said JJ.

"JJ as your unit chief I have to say that's an abuse of power but as someone worried about the love of there life I'm telling you to do whatever it takes" said Hotch.

"I will, call me when you get here" said JJ

"Ok we will be there soon" said Hotch.

Hanging up the phone JJ went in search of her best friend.
