Don't shoot!

Hi guys! No I am not dead, and hopefully none of you are currently planning to murder me in my sleep. I've been thrown around like a rag doll for the past months and I haven't had time to do anything. Anyway, I know you want the next chapter and not my excuses so here it is.

PLEASE READ A/N AT THE BOTTOM AND ENJOY!

Disclaimer: Don't own twilight yet :(

Bella's P.O.V

When I woke up, I lazily tried to open my eyes, only to be face to face with Alice and Emmett.

"AH!" I cried, eyes wide open now. Edward suddenly appeared beside me "Alice! Emmett! GET OUT!" He snarled at them, causing them to disappear immediately.

"I'm sorry, love." Edward sighed "I went downstairs to make you breakfast, and it didn't register in their thoughts that they were going to do this."

He put a tray on the bed and crawled in next to me. "It's ok," I yawned, staring at the tray. There was a plate of cheesy eggs, toast, a cup of water and a cup of orange juice. "It looks good," I encouraged, taking a bite of the still- hot eggs. Then moaning loudly "Oh god! And it tastes even better!" He grinned, obviously pleased with himself. "Hey, make sure you too are protected before you do that! I'm too young to be an uncle!" Emmett bellowed, then cackled loudly. I blushed, causing Edward to grin even bigger. I ate slowly, savoring the food as Edward spoke.

"I think I should cook for you more often. I've never seen you appreciate anything half as much as when I cook for you. And I won't get to do it for much longer." The reminder of my change made a worried expression flash over his features, but it was gone as soon as it came.

"Yeah, I do love food. Especially when I don't have to cook it myself. And me not having to cook is a very rare occasion, so I enjoy it a lot. I loved it even more as a kid. I was seriously chubby as a kid." Edward raised his eyebrows, as if he didn't believe me.

"I'm serious! Until I was about 8 or 9, I was probably the fattest kid in the whole school! Look!" I pulled out my wallet from the jeans I had thrown beside the bed and looked through the few loose photos I had until I found the one I wanted and handed it to him. Edward took the photo from me and stared at it for a few seconds, before his a grin spread across his face, even bigger than the one before.

"You were adorable!" he cried. "I was not! I was fat!" I countered. "You weren't that fat Bella," he frowned "you're only slightly chubbier than a normal child." I sighed "Yeah, but the children I went to school with weren't normal! This is Phoenix we're talking about. As in everyone was tan and fit to the point of abnormality, not to mention that they were all signed up for at least three different sports. And then you have me, the chubby little pale girl with no daddy and a mother who was more of a child than she is. At least when I came here, I didn't stand out so much." I sighed, my childhood wasn't exactly the best ever.

I felt arms wrap around my waist, "well," Edward murmured "I think you were adorable. And beautiful, and amazing. And I think that you're parents' issues have made you far stronger than any of the girls you're convinced are so much better than you." I smiled at his sweet words, wanting to kiss him but afraid of what the sleep and eggs had done to my breath. I settled for pecking his cheek. "Thank you, Edward," his hands tightened around my waist. "Anytime, my love, anything." He replied, then loosened his grip so I could go clean myself up.

"Done?" Edward asked as I joined him down stairs. In reply, I wrapped my arms around him and kissed him deeply. "Mmmm…I'll take that as a yes," he murmured, wrapping his arms around my waist. "Ok you too, cut that out, we want to know whose activity Bella wants to do next." Emmett boomed. We reluctantly broke away and turned to our crowd, who were all giving us mock exasperated looks, except Esme, who was grinning from ear to ear, and Carlisle, who was smiling softly.

I blushed and tried to step away from Edward, but his vice tight grip kept me firmly in my place. "Ok Bella, who are you gonna pick next?" I already knew who I was going to pick. Emmett and Alice I was definitely leaving last. I was going to pick Carlisle, but after Esme's little surprise, I changed my mind.

"Jasper," I said softly. His head snapped up, obviously surprised by my decision. I smiled encouragingly at him as Alice and Emmett groaned. Carlisle simply chuckled at his children's antics.

Jasper's grin was wide as he came up to me, "I just have to get a few things, and I'll meet you outside in a few minutes," I nodded, and Jasper disappeared upstairs. "You have no idea how happy you've made him. He was certain you were going to pick him last." Edward murmured kissing my neck when everyone had left. I bit my lip, "why?" he looked at me as if the answer was obvious "oh," I murmured. He must still be feeling guilty over the accident on my birthday. "Does everyone in this family feel the need to blame themselves over and over until they combust?" I cried, exasperated. Edward simply chuckled, kissing me again. When I broke away to breathe, our surroundings had changed, we were in Edward's room again. "Jasper wants you to put on your motorcycle gear," Edward explained. I was suddenly very excited. "Really? We're going motorcycling? Yes!" I squealed, jumping up and down in excitement. Edward laughed at my reaction "Yes, Jasper has decided to take you out for his activity." I stopped jumping, slightly confused by Edward's calm demeanor. "And you're okay with this?" he smiled softly "Yes, I am. Jasper really wants to do this with you, and I have full faith that he will not let any harm come to you. He's already torn himself up over the last time." Edward came closer, zipping up my jacket for me. I kissed him again, my silent thanks for being so understanding, and let him lead me to the Cullens' garage.

"I should start taking you out on your bike more. You seem to love riding it, and I know I love seeing you wear this," he smirked, gesturing to my jacket and the helmet I was carrying under my arm. "I'd like that," I smiled lovingly at him, then I faked exasperation. "But I still don't see why I have to where all this stuff, the helmet way a ton on its own!" Edward gave me a look. "But.. I guess if it keeps you sane it's worth it," I sighed, then grinned at him. He chuckled "thank you, love." He whispered as Jasper strolled over, carrying a basket and a back pack.

"Ready?" he drawled, I nodded and climbed onto my bike, knowing there was no point in offering to help carry something. "Have fun!" Edward called as Jasper revved his engine and I did the same, and soon we were speeding down the road.
