Lincoln, he moved to New York City's Queens yesterday and today he was walking to school with his new friend Korvo. He couldn't stop staring at the cute boy, and when Korvo would try to notice, Lincoln would quickly look away, this felt like torture to Lincoln, then finally both got to Midtown Middle School.
"Alright here it is."
"Okay um what do we do?"
"Well here, we're supposed to be in class."
"Well I'm here in the first day of school."
"Actually the first day was a week ago."
"Right."
So anyways they go right inside the school, it was different from the school back in Royal Woods, but this is Queen's New York City. It's going to be different. When they reached to their first period, it was about biology.
In that class, while they were dissecting frogs and pigs, Lincoln was approached by Korvo again.
"Hey um Lincoln where are you from?" Korvo asked
"I'm from Royal Woods Michigan." Lincoln replied
"Oh... Are you a farmer boy?"
Lincoln was appalled by this question, he must've thought that since Royal Woods was a small town.
"What? No!"
"Oh just checking."
Korvo then goes back to his post of dissecting these poor little bastards.
Later
On during another period, Lincoln was walking towards that period until once again was stopped by Korvo, who had tons more questions.
"Do you have any siblings?" Korvo asked
"Yeah, 10 sisters." Lincoln replied
"Really? Man your parents must've loved getting it on!"
"What?"
"Nothing. Wait 10 sisters?... But no brother?"
"Well I did have one brother, he was a year older than me and he was the greatest brother i could ever had."
"Well what happened? Did he die?"
"Um... Yeah he died, and it was just recently too."
"Oh man... I'm sorry for your loss, i kinda feel what your feeling, my pet hamster died recently and i bawled out my eyes for a week."
"Well I'm sorry for your loss, now I'm off to another period."
Lincoln then walks off to the period. Leaving Korvo to stand by the lockers.
Later
It was after school when Lincoln and Korvo were walking together. Korvo even at this time of day, still had tons of questions for Lincoln.
"So... You have anything else to do?" Korvo asked
"Well I'm planning on exploring this part of town."
"Can I come?"
"No. This Is something i have to do on my own."
"Alright."
However as they walk through the streets of Queens New York, they were walking past an alley when they heard someone's ass getting beat, they look towards the alley and find a group of people their ages. Beating someone up their age. Both eleven year old boys felt their heart beating faster as they had complete fear written all over their faces. Lincoln's fear however went away quickly as he reminded himself that he had spider powers that he could use, he was about to intervene until Korvo grabbed her- his hand.
"Wait don't! They'll kill you." Korvo warned
"I'm not worried about a beating." Lincoln said
Lincoln made Korvo let go of his hand and Lincoln goes to intervene while Korvo stands there and watch, scared for his new friend.
"Please! Leave me alone!" the boy pleaded
"Hell no nerd!" one of the bullies said
"Leave him alone." Lincoln said
The group of bullies turned around to find that Lincoln was the one one who said that and gotten himself a death wish, well a new one means more beatings yay!
"Well if it isn't the new kid. Get him boys!"
One of the boys threw his fist at Lincoln. Only for Lincoln to catch the punch and starts to slowly crush it, causing the boy to scream out in pain. Then Lincoln punches him in the face and kicks him in the chest, pushing the boy far back til he hit the wall there he was knocked out from hitting the hard brick wall with his head hard. Seeing this caused all of the bullies to slowly back away from Lincoln, seeing how he could easily send a boy flying with a kick.
"Alright get out of here before i'll kick Your guy's asses." Lincoln threatened
All the bullies heed his warning and got the fuck outta there, although one of them stopped and looked back at Lincoln.
"This isn't over new kid."
Then he runs off. Korvo was astonished by what he saw. Lincoln goes over to the boy and holds out his hand for him. The boy took his hand and Lincoln helped him up.
"Thanks. But you didn't have to help me." the kid said
"No but i had to, i wouldn't let some kids beat up some kid who's minding his own business and not bothering anyone." Lincoln explained
Then Lincoln held out his hand, expecting a handshake.
"Hi I'm Lincoln Loud." Lincoln introduced
The kid then took it and shakes Lincoln's hand.
"I'm Miles Morales."
Korvo came up to both boys after they introduced to one another, reminding Lincoln of something.
"Oh Miles this Is Korvo, he's my friend that i met this morning."
Korvo just simply waves.
"Oh hi..."
"Anyways I've better get going, I'm hoping to see you both again?"
Miles and Korvo nodded. Then Lincoln took off running back towards to the apartment.
