Not many knew of her name or that she even existed, but it wasn't a bad thing. No, it was a rather great thing. She was able to do what she wanted and always got away because no one knew her. She was an odd thing, in personality and in looks.
With bright pink hair and the oddest green eyes. Her body wasn't nothing to die over, toned and slim with a average bust. Her height was average, maybe just a bit more on the shorter side. Her clothes told of a middle class girl.
She wasn't into the new dolls like many other young girls. No she was into the books and tales that the older generation would tell, not that they knew she was listening. She didn't fawn over the village boys as they grew into the new leaders. No she much rather fawn over the small bamboo shoots that grew far above her head.
As the years went by, and no one had yet to know about her being or rather no one cared enough, she noticed things. Everyone around her was aging, everyone that she saw that were her age were now much older looking than her. She had not aged since she had turned 21, yet the ones that were born the same year as her were now in the mid-40s.
"How odd."
"You do understand why you no longer age."
The deep male voice behind her did not scare her, it wasn't a stranger's voice after all. She knew that voice better than she knew her own body.
"I rather not admit to the reason."
The male snarled ever so at her blunt remark. He floated towards her person and looked down at the village from the cliff they were on, "How long do you plan on playing this little game of yours'? You've seen the humans, lived with them, yet they still do not know your name or that you were even part of them. Let us go back now, Sakura."
The women sighed as she stood from her crouched position, "I suppose you are right, Judal."
"Aren't I always right?" The floating male smirked down at the pink haired women.
"You irk me so. But I suppose you do have your times." Sakura smiled as she took Judal's hand. He brought her up and into his arms.
"You never stop to astonish me." Judal leaned in and gave a small kiss as they broke apart into smiles.
"I hope I never do stop." Sakura muttered into his chest as she leaned into him. As the flew away, she watched with pity filled eyes as the village that she 'grew' up with emerged into flames; still she felt little to no pain when she heard the screams and cries for help. Humans would be humans and war would be war.
