Chapter Ten
School was back on and in every class Draco sat next to me, which was doing nothing for the memories of being in his body and the heat that past threw us, the want for each other that we had that day was haunting my dreams. He flicked his wand over my hair in the morning, warmed my coffee when it had cooled down and even assio-ed my book bag when I forgot it in Charms; something I do quite often. I knew it was because he felt bad I didn't have a wand but even Blaise didn't do any of them things of me. Maybe because Blaise had short hair so doesn't know the hair one and he doesn't take charms but that wasn't the point. Sitting in the Great hall for Dinner I thought over why Draco might be doing all the little nice things. Maybe I was just going insane; we were friends that was a good enough of a reason.
"Thanks for catching me Draco" I heard Daphne praise. Being in Slytherin, nosiness is just second nature to a lot of us unfortunately this time, glancing up I saw Daphne's hands placed on Draco's leading arm "just for a second there I thought I was going to need a new nose" She laughed.
"Why would you want to change your nose Daphne, it's perfect just for you" Draco's deep voice charmed. Chewing my NARS Lip Gloss covered lips, I realised Draco was just as he was before the war in a less concentrated amount; a lady's man. Theodore Nott wondered over to Blaise and I. He sat on Blaise side, since he was more Blaise's friend that mine.
"Evening" He grinned at me; I nodded back and continued to eat and write my divination predictions at the same time. "Have you heard" He asked Blaise who I caught from the corner of my eye shook his head 'no' "Malfoy is planning on getting a girl" Blaise snorted and chuckled, not believing it.
"And how may I ask Theo. Do you know this?" Blaise chuckled, Theodore who was more of a gossip than a friend in my opinion, grinned wide. I glanced up at his Animalistic grin.
"my sources…" he said all mysterious then chuckled giving it away "Look I seen Iffy making her moves on him in him in the corridor and he said he wasn't looking for fun anymore, and Pansy even said to us earlier that he's been acting distant." Theo was an idiot I decided finishing my paper and rolling it up "so obviously he's spotted someone better than Iffy and my question is who the hell is that?" if Theodore's logic had of been true he was right in wondering. Because after Iffy Starlight there really isn't anyone who can match her long legs, curved waist, massive boobs, long straight perfect black hair and pretty face. Not to mention she was smart. Well smart-ish and she's rich her family owned Starbucks; well not publicly but it was well known in the 'higher class' magic London. The thought made me roll my eyes higher class. Like owning a giant house was better than having a loving family.
"Maybe he's just on his period" I joked, Theodore laughed.
"I don't care what he's on. If Iffy Starlight wants to play a games with you, you play and you play the best damn game you've ever played" He explained jealousy dripping off him in waves as I laughed while he looked down at the black haired 7th year.
"Well Iffy asked me to play with her once" I whispered over the table as if it was a secret, "We were in the common room late at night… alone" Theodore hung on my words "At first we debated about it, you know it was so late, but then I explained that made it better, no one would catch us. So we 'played'" I explained Theodore licked his lips as I flicked my hair over my shoulder, his eyes followed the curve of my neck then back up to my face "She got frustrated with my moves so stripped down, but I still played my best game that night" Blaise's face when slightly pink from holding in a laugh.
"Yesss" Theodore asked he was leaned towards me over the table now in case he missed a word I said.
"Well needless to say wizards chess is not a game Iffy Starlight is good at" I grinned leaning back. Watching Theodore face dropped and Blaise nearly pissed himself. "I'm good I know" I winked at Theodore before standing up "If you find out who Draco's after let me know" I joked "Loved to see who's better than Iffy"
