It's me again... I wanted to tell the story for this part in a different way. I knew what I wanted to happen in the next few parts, but I just couldn't find a way to tell the story. So, I hope you guys like what I decided to use for this part in the story. This chapter was so big that I had to split it up into to two parts and the next part will be up soon. As a reminder I do not own the characters in this story or anything else that may or may not pop up. I hope you guys enjoy this sort of long chapter!

My dearest Katie – trust me, everything is intentional. I've been trying to build up Sasuke as the emotionally confused school girl, even though he is a guy, to make his.. "fall" more dramatic. I'm sorry if you found it offensive, but rest assured that a darker side is on the horizon.

Sasuke truly was amazing. Not amazing like talent show amazing, but as Grammy award winning amazing if the awards actually meant anything. Those were Naruto's thoughts before he quietly slipped out of the auditorium and back to his apartment. Once he entered his place and closed the door he noticed his sister sitting at the table.

"I guess I need to change the locks," he said in annoyance.

"Don't be like that, Naru," she grinned. "You should get to those dishes that are still there," she took another sip of her red wine.

"You're not the boss of me."

"Actually, I am," she laughed.

"Just what do you want?" he asked as he sat down across from her at the table.

"Why all of a sudden so hostile?" She looked directly at him. "Does this have something to do with Sasuke?" Naruto gulped.

"N-no, he has nothing to do with it."

"If you say so," she smirked.

"Just under a lot of stress lately, that's all," he tried to explain.

"Hmm, you usually beat the hell out of anyone that's giving you stress," she reminded him.

"Maybe I'm trying to be a good guy for once," with this Kurama burst out laughing almost spilling her wine.

"Yeah right, and I'm the loving mother who bakes cookies all day," she joked.

"How's Tobi anyway?" Naruto asked about his one year old nephew. When he first found out that his sister was pregnant he thought that it would turn her to a caring person and then leave all the crime behind, but it had the opposite effect. She became more aggressive and cold-hearted. He figured it had something to do with the father, but she never told him who it was.

"He's with his nanny," she finished the rest of the wine in her cup and poured more.

"I never see him anymore. Actually, I only saw him once when he was 2 months old," he realized.

"Maybe you'll visit," when it's all finished, she thought. "Have you and Uchiha decided on the song you'll sing together?"

"It's a surprise."

"Well, as long as you both aren't fucking each other like rabbit's on Kakashi's desk it doesn't matter," she said with absolutely no shame.

"Why are you getting involved in my school?" Naruto asked. "Don't give me the 'to better your education' bullshit."

"To ensure our survival," she glared at the cup in her hand, chugged down the rest of the wine, and got up. "I'll see you soon, Naruto." She then left quickly, and then it appeared like the apartment itself let out a sigh of relief and everything was peaceful and quiet. Naruto put his head down and began to think about his parents. How could they have kept his sister under control for so long? He wished they were there with him. He chuckled then; look at the school's biggest badass being a depressed sissy about his parents. Then his thoughts focused on Christmas, and how when they were young they would play outside in the snow and the only thing they'd have to worry about is to not burn your tongue on the hot chocolate. He remembered one day a few days before Christmas a long time ago when he and his sister went outside near their pool house and saw that a snowman had appeared out of thin air. When they told their parents they just laughed and they all made a snowman to accompany the one that had just decided to visit their backyard. Those were the times he missed most.

"'Tachi?" Sasuke knocked on the door to his big brother's room. He heard shuffling in the room as a sign that Itachi was awake. "Do you want to build a snowman?" He didn't get a response. "Come on let's go and play!" He went on all fours with his little six years old body and tried to look under the door. "I never see you anymore, come out the door, It's like you've gone away," door then opened to show a tired looking 13 year old Itachi.

"I'm sorry, Sasuke. Maybe another time?" Itachi poked him in the center of his forehead.

"You always say that! We used to play all the time! We used to be best buddies, and now we're not. I wish you would tell me why!"

"Okay, I'll play with you," Itachi smiled to his little brother.

"Do you want to build a snowman? It doesn't have to be a snow man, ya know," Sasuke grabbed his brother's hand and dragged him outside to the snow. The blanket of snow that covered every single piece of ground that could be seen filled the area with a sort of bright hope that Sasuke always enjoyed. Hope that every day would be like this.

"Okay, okay Sasuke," Itachi laughed. Itachi started the base of the snowman and Sasuke was in charge of the other parts. Once Itachi looked at how Sasuke struggled to roll his part and chuckled. He threw a snowball at Sasuke which knocked him over.

"Hey! That's not fair!" Sasuke made a snowball and threw it and missed. His brother just laughed and that caused Sasuke to laugh with him. They heard shouting coming from their house and turned around. They saw their door open so they rushed towards it. They were about ten feet away from their porch when their parents emerged from the door and they saw their father throw their mother a few feet out towards the freezing air in her robe. She was sobbing and a little stream of blood could be seen coming from her arm.

"You gold digging, bitch," their father said in complete outrage. "I knew I couldn't trust you with this!"

"No, please! It wasn't me! I know the risks involved!" Their mother pleaded trying to get back on her feet, but failed.

"Never thought my own wife would betray me," he glared at her. "Now look at you, filthy and out on the street where you fucking belong."

"Mommy?" Sasuke ran forward before Itachi could stop him and ran towards his mother. He gave her a hug and looked at her face, "Mommy, what's going on?"

"Sasuke, I thought you were inside?" his mother said calmly.

"Sasuke, get away from that woman she's nothing, but a filthy rat," his father ordered.

"Mommy?" Sasuke cried.

"It's alright sweetie," she smiled at him.

"Sasuke," his father growled. "She's not good for you, let her go. She's no one now."

"I'm his mother!" she yelled at him. His father lunged forward and pried Sasuke from his mother and slapped her. Sasuke's eyes widened as his father was dragging his mother off the porch and into the snow.

"Itachi take your brother to his room," their father again growled. Itachi didn't say a word and did as he was told.

"No! Mommy! Let me go! Father stop!" Sasuke cried to his parents, but they were drowned out once Itachi slammed the door shut and ran up to Sasuke's room. Itachi threw Sasuke on the bed and then he went rummaging in the closet. "I have to see mommy! I have to see her!" Sasuke got up from the bed and ran for the door, but Itachi tripped him and dragged him towards the bed. Tears began to stream down Sasuke's face as he cried out incoherent words.

"Shhhh, Sasuke, shhhh," Itachi tried to calm him down. "Everything's gonna be alright, you just have to be quiet ok?" Itachi left his crying brother on the bed and went again to the closet and pulled out two luggage bags and started to stuff his clothes in them. The last thing Sasuke heard that night was the front door being slammed.

It took a couple days for Itachi to call some relatives and friends to find out where his mother was staying and he already had all his bags ready and hidden from his father. He had the taxi waiting outside while he stood in front of his father's office. His father has been spending most of his time in there always on the phone talking to some person named Madara. Itachi entered the office and made eye contact with his father.

"I'm busy, Itachi," he scribbled a few things down in a notebook.

"I just wanted to tell you that we're leaving," Itachi said with a stoic face. His father hung up the phone and looked at Itachi.

"You're funny. Go back to your room," he growled.

"No," Itachi said defiantly. "You're not the boss of us anymore."

"I'm not? I am your father!" He slammed his fist on the desk.

"You are no father of mine," It was Itachi's turn to glare at him. "You're a selfish bastard who threw out the only woman that cared about him," He didn't hear another word from his father so he turned around and opened the door. Before he could close it he looked back to his father and directed the look of pity towards him, "I hope you can learn to live with your pitiful worthless self." Itachi slammed the door then and led Sasuke to the taxi that would lead them to their mother.

It's been about five years since they left their father and everyday Sasuke has gotten more distant. Their mother was staying with an old friend hidden in a pool house on their back yard. The only thing they knew about her old friend was that her name was Kushina. She was a red headed woman, and she looked like those women in the fashion magazines that his mother always had in her hands. They also knew that the family inside could never know they were hiding there. Then one day came the letter. It was slipped underneath the door and when their mother opened it streams of tears started to cover her face. Itachi went to her side and read the contents of the letter. It was for them to make an appearance at their father's funeral. Their father had died in a car accident and it would be a closed casket. In the letter was a picture of their father and what seemed as his new girlfriend. He saw Sasuke on the other side of his mother and his face never twitched or gave any indication of what he felt inside. He simply went back to his bed and read his books.

Their mother gave them money to go buy suits for the funeral, but the amount she gave them was a small fortune. By the time they came back from the clothing store their mother had slipped away. The woman, Kushina, said that she had just gone to a relative's house. Sasuke decided that he would not attend his father's funeral and wait for his mother in the tiny home.

The sun had long since gone down when Itachi came back to their makeshift home. When he entered he could feel that his mother had never returned and then realized that they were left alone. He went to what was the entrance to their room and knocked on the locked door.

"Sasuke," Itachi sighed. "Please, I know you're in there," he heard nothing from the other side. "People are asking where you've been."

"I don't care," Itachi heard Sasuke whisper.

"They say you just have to have a little courage."

"I'm trying to," Sasuke whispered trying to hold back the tears.

"I'm right out here for you, Sasuke," Itachi placed his hands on the door feeling tears starting to build up. "Just let me in." The door then opened and Sasuke ran to hug his older brother getting tears on the new suit. Itachi returned the hug and held on to his brother letting a single tear roll down his cheek. "We only have each other now. It's just you and me," Itachi tightened his arms around his brother.

"What are we gonna do?" Sasuke asked his big brother because right now he couldn't see a good future for them. Sasuke leaned back a little to look at his brother. Itachi looked back and thought on how he could fix everything for them. Everything he thought of would take time to get there, but right now he just couldn't concentrate on all of that. He looked out the window and saw more snow starting to fall on the ground.

"Do you want to build a snowman?" Itachi asked with a smile on his face.

Sasuke shook his head when he snapped out of his day dream. His looked out the window again to make sure he wasn't hallucinating that it was snowing on Halloween.

"You'd think the weather man would give us a heads up if the weather was going to act up," Neji said as he flipped another page of his magazine.

"Does that mean the dance is canceled?" Sasuke asked.

"Thought you said you didn't care about it," Neji arched one eyebrow.

"Maybe I changed my mind," Neji squealed and jump towards Sasuke jumping crazily around Sasuke.

"Then we have to get started now!" Neji started texting his friends for help with this new project.

"Am I still going to wear that stupid costume?" Sasuke sighed.

"Hell yeah!" Neji went to his closet and pulled out the extravagant costume and laid it on the bed.

"You knew I was going to change my mind…"

"I was hoping you would," Neji smiled. "Plus, it's a masquerade ball, not a dance."

"Same thing," Sasuke rolled his eyes. "What are you wearing?"

"This!" Neji pulled out a nice suit with a little hint of Neji's own fabulousness splashes around it. "I can't wait to see the ballroom decorated!"

"We have a ballroom?" Sasuke asked surprised.

"Yeah, but we never use it for some reason."

"Why have a ballroom with no balls?" Sasuke again asked curious causing Neji to chuckle a bit. "Fuck you."

"You walked into that one," Neji laughed. "But every time I go into the ballroom it's always dark, cold and empty. I sometimes even pretend that I'm in a ball, dancing with the guy of my dreams."

"This time there'll be actual real live people," Sasuke went along with it.

"Yeah," Neji laughed. "It'll be really strange." In no time at all Neji's friends came bursting through the door to help him out. It only took a few hours to get everything perfect and they finally backed up a bit. Everyone was completely in awe at how beautiful Sasuke looked in the coral blue ball gown and when he twirled it looked like streaks of lighting were shimmering all around the dress. The dress exposed his back and upper chest and covered his fake boobs that Neji gave him that kept itching. They put extensions in his hair to make it look longer and fuller and truth be told if Neji was straight he would totally hook up with Sasuke right about now. If they didn't know it was Sasuke under all that dress and make up, he could easily go for a girl, or a supermodel.

Sasuke felt the dress tighten around his abdomen area and tried to adjust it a little. He didn't know how females could wear this. He almost punched Neji's friends in their face when they started shaving his armpits, arms, and legs. He wanted to stop them right then and there, but decided that he liked not being in prison.

"You look so beautiful," a girl named Tenten squealed. "I think the guys will come just by looking at you."

"Tenten!" Neji laughed along with the rest of the group. "Sasuke you have a girl voice right?"

"Excuse me?" Sasuke arched an eyebrow.

"Can you speak like a female?" Tenten asked. Sasuke gave a little glare and then a smirk. He cleared his throat and took a deep breath.

"You mean, like this?" He said in a voice that sounded like a woman in her 20s. Everyone again just stared at him in awe.

"Yeah, but a little less slutty," Neji said which earned him a punch to the top of his head. When everyone was ready they all walked down together to the ball room. The ball room was actually a building dedicated to having balls and was last used during the 1800s when they actually had grand balls. To get into the building's courtyard you had to pass a giant metal gate. There was a mass crowd at the gate as everyone was waiting for the gates to be opened. Sasuke had to admit this was the first time in forever that he was this excited to be with this many people. Sasuke's group simultaneously put on their mask and entered the mass of people. Neji walked up to a stranger with brown shaggy hair and tapped him on the shoulder. The stranger turned around with a questioning look revealing his dog like mask.

"What's going on?" Neji asked.

"They won't open the gates yet so I guess we're stuck out here while it's snowing," the stranger said. His friend beside him with blond hair turned around to find out who his buddy was talking to. He had a black mask on with gold and orange trim that complimented his hair and the suit looked the same as the mask. He saw who his buddy was talking to, but was immediately distracted by the guy's friend standing a few feet behind him with the beautiful blue dress.

"Hello there," the man grabbed Sasuke's hand and kissed it. "I don't think we've met."

**Meanwhile**

Kurama looked out the window and smirked to see his brother and little Sasuke having a little conversation. She looked behind to her men waiting for orders. "Don't let them in," she glanced at the girl standing in the center of the room above the ballroom. "Not yet," they bowed and waited outside the door. The girl had her head down looking at the floor. Her black hair was covering most of her and she looked like she was about to break. Every inch of this girl's body was shaking uncontrollably. This young girl thought she would never see the red haired devil again. "Hinata, it's so nice to see you again," she chuckled. "You look absolutely beautiful." It was true; she had a coral blue ball gown that was an almost exact replica of one down below. She also had contacts put in to hide her pale eyes.

"I still don't understand why you want me to do this," Hinata raised her head to the older woman. Kurama slipped a dagger into a hidden pocket in the dress.

"Make sure not to let them see," she ordered. "You just have to be the good girl you always have to be."

"But how?"

"Conceal it underneath all that," Kurama glared.

"I just feel horrible about this," Hinata's voice cracked then.

"Then don't feel," Kurama said in a dangerously low voice. "Put on a show," she grinned. "For me…"

"I don't think I can-"

"Make one wrong move, one step in the wrong direction and everyone will know about you," Kurama threatened her. "It's only for today." Hinata's expression turned from paranoid girl into a cold stoic face in an instant and nodded. Kurama looked towards a servant at the door and put a hand on Hinata's shoulder. "Tell the boys to open up the gates."

Hinata left with Kurama's mobsters and passed by a large male with faded red hair and raccoon eyes similar to a certain student, but this man had piercing golden eyes. Her eyes widened for a split second before she went back into to character and descended down the stairs. Kurama was staring out the window again when the man entered the room.

"Surprise bitch," the man said. Kurama looked behind her shoulder to see her 'coworker' as she liked to call it. "I bet you thought you'd seen the last of me," the red haired man smirked.

"Shukaku," Kurama sighed. "What an unexpected surprise."

"The others are getting restless," Shukaku glared. "When will you gain the Uchiha fortune so we can move on?"

"Soon," she passed by him. "Those bastards that killed my parents will die sooner than you think." She stopped at a wardrobe at the side of the room and pulled out a gun. "If all goes well, we'll have it by next week."

"And if it does not?"

"I will take appropriate action to ensure that those who caused our failure will be… disciplined," she gave him a murderous grin.

"My nephew is not to be harmed," he warned her.

"I wouldn't dream of hurting Gaara," she assured him. "As long as he does what he's told." Shukaku was about to retort when Kurama stopped him. "Don't forget your place, Ichibi," with that she exited the room along with her henchmen to join the party that was going to be to die for.

**Back to the Gates**

"It's agony to wait out here," Sasuke said with his woman voice.

"Are you cold?" The man looked at Sasuke with concern. Sasuke recognized those blue eyes right away, but decided to keep playing his character and nodded, shivering. Naruto took off his jacket and put it around Sasuke's shoulder.

"Such a gentleman," Sasuke teased. Naruto only smiled back and put an arm around Sasuke's shoulder. Naruto didn't know why he was being such a nice guy around this girl he just met. Usually when he meets a girl he just fucks then duck away before she starts thinking of a relationship, but with this one he just felt that he couldn't. There was something about this one that feels… different. He only felt that way any time Sasuke and him were, I guess you could call it hanging out, but Sasuke made it clear he didn't want to go with him to this. He looked around at the snow and smiled. It really is beautiful out here.

"The gates…" Naruto snapped out of it when the woman spoke and looked towards the gates that were opening. They began walking towards the building that contained the ballroom and it was a sight to see. Everything seemed like a fairytale. Everyone was dressed so extravagantly and the snow just made everything so much more surreal.

"You know, this might sound corny," Naruto said to get the woman's attention. "But for the first time in forever everything just seems so right. Like I finally have a chance to be, I don't know, someone else for a change."

"A chance to finally be yourself?" Sasuke added.

"Exactly!" Naruto smiled. "It's like, exactly what people are dreaming of. Having a beautiful girl on their arm and going to party with them all night long."

"You're right. It does sound corny," Sasuke giggled.

"Hey, I didn't catch your name," Naruto told him. Sasuke looked ahead and thought about this for a second before he turned to the blond.

"Mikoto," Sasuke smiled slightly. "But you can call me Miko."

"I like that name," Naruto complimented him. "So, since this all ends tomorrow want to do something else later?"

"Something like what?"

"Um," Naruto looked around and the snow was now starting to accumulate on the grass. "Do you want to build a snowman?" Sasuke turned his head to Naruto completely wild-eyed and then calmed down.

"I would love to," he said at the exact moment they entered the building to begin the night.

That's it for now! Let me know what you think about this chapter!
