Hey, guys? How were the holidays? Hope it was all fantastic. Ok so if you aren't the two guests that reviewed last time then you may begin reading cause I love responding to guys, especially when you're so fantastic, which these two were.

First is the first nameless guest: Of course you can make requests and yeah that'd be cute :3 Thanks so much and I totally agree, I couldn't write a feminine Deidara without feeling like I'm not doing the awesome character as much justice as I should so I'm glad somebody agrees.

Now for Seinzess: I WAS NOT BORED AT ALL. Actually I forced my sister to read it to me after reading it out loud to myself for like ten minutes, so holy shit that totally made my day, you're fantastic. I agree it's not very creative but I did try to have my own taste in it, which brings in the Hidan thing. Like people have said it before where they think I'm being too mean to Hidan but I don't know, I laugh at those parts, cause I feel like he'd be the best to pick on cause his reactions would be the funniest and it'd make sense, since he's loud and obnoxious. I love the jealous parts too cause I feel those are his most sincere? Hahahaha, you're such a skilled flatter, thanks I love every ounce of it a lot, like I love all reviews but long reviews are my absolute fav, so you're an absolute fav. And I guess I'll start asking questions… not sure if they'd be answered but yeah. Also Sunday or Monday I'm updating Those Who Jump just for you :D Whoop whoop.

Okay but now onto the story, all of you guys are fantastic, thanks everyone who has reviewed and followed or favorited. Now whoop whoop let's get this party started, cause it isn't just a filler this time, right?

-X-

"This is taking forever, un!" Deidara raised his hands, giving up and dropped his intricate snowflake he was cutting up, "Every snowflake is unique, my ass. I'm so done!"

Sasori, who had been hunched over his own, raised his head up and peaked over at the blond sitting on the stool next to him. He smirked, "We've been doing this for less than two hours." He actually couldn't have anymore of a different mood than Deidara, after all he would never complain being able to sit this close to the blond.

Deidara whipped his head behind him to look at the clock in exasperation, smacking Sasori in the face with his flying hair. Sasori snorted as he almost inhaled the strands but was entirely ignored. Sasori was right. The clock said it was only 7:20. His shoulders slumped, "That's only makes this worse!"

Sasori opened his mouth to respond when a girl, the only other person helping out with the dance, walked over. She gazed at the two of them coolly with her amber eyes that looked like burning liquid ember against her charcoal looking eyeliner, "Having problems?" This had to be her third time coming over and clearly she wasn't finding this as funny as Sasori seemed to be.

Deidara raised his head and looked at her oddly before giving her a well duh look, "Actually, since you asked, I think these-" he angrily waved the paper snowflake, "-are super awful. Not only are they boring to do, they're boring to look at, un." He dropped it back on the table.

Sasori snorted and quickly covered up his smile and laughter into his palms as she shifted her irritated gaze from Deidara to him. He looked wide-eyed from her to Deidara, who didn't seem nearly as bothered, "Clearly you aren't using enough glitter, Deidara." He glanced over at her much larger pile of even more delicate and beautiful white snowflakes, which were heavily glittered and decorative impressively.

Deidara's eyes flickered at them before shaking his head. The girl sighed; these two were proving too much for even her, "You do realize you only open your mouth to complain?"

"You do realize there's a lot to complain about with these?" He retorted.

She ran her hand absentmindedly through her short blue hair, "I'm listening then." She raised an eyebrow, as Deidara seemed caught off guard for a moment.

He met Sasori's laughing eyes for a second before smoothing his hands on the table, "I think this is a little too clichéd for an art school. Pretty wonderland? Come on, any school can cut these out and make a gym pretty, un." He gestured to his pile.

"Anyone can do yours maybe, but hers actually seem really awesome. And mine too, of course."

"Not the point, un."

Refusing to allow another bantering match between the two after the first one in the first twenty minutes, she quickly stated, "It's what the Headmistress is expecting."

They stopped their gazing at each other (Sasori taunting with his bright eyes and Deidara's glaring angrily) and looked up at her. Sasori grinned mischievously, "All the more reason not to." She rolled her eyes, "No, seriously. I think it'll be a lot more fun for everyone involved, including those going to the dance and if we get into any trouble then Deidara and I can take the blame. She wouldn't be surprised at all."

They both gazed up at her expectantly as she seemed to mull this over, "I won't be associated with any of this if all goes down?"

Sasori bared his pearly whites, "Our lips are sealed." She still seemed on the verge of saying no so he added, "Deidara will quit whining and let's face it, we'll all go crazy if we have to listen to him for three days."

She looked down at Deidara who nodded solemnly. Sighing, she pinched the bridge of her nose, "Fine, what ideas do you have?"

Deidara also looked at Sasori and he thought for a moment, skimming his pale hand through his messy hair, "… I think… I have something…"

-x-

A little over thirty minutes later and they were in the gym, standing on a giant tarp and on top of that butcher paper with a lot of cans of paint and brushes. Deidara had pulled his hair into the messy bun and sat on his knees. He got a particularly large paintbrush and began to dip it into the dark blue paint. Over his shoulder Sasori and the girl, Konan as she later told them after she warmed up to both them and the new idea, stood, musing on what exactly he should paint, "Maybe rough spirals and swirls? Over it we could paint glossy white snowflakes."

Konan looked down, nodding, "Actually that doesn't seem so bad. What should we do while he's doing this?"

He looked down at Deidara who was, like always when working with art he enjoyed, focused entirely on his painting, his face soft and careful as his hand gracefully swooped in a swirl. "Stare at him." He watched for a few moments before looking back over at Konan as she gaped at him wide eyed, before he laughed, "Kidding. Kinda. Here let's go get the other stuff and begin working on the decorations."

She watched him start to leave before walking a little to catch up, "Are you two dating?"

Sasori glanced back and smiled charmingly, "Yeah."

"No." Deidara called out, not looking up.

"Well kind of."

"Not really." Deidara had just as much emphasis.

Sasori grabbed the double doors and looked at her amusedly and winked. "Soon enough." He pulled them open and stepped though.

Konan followed closely behind him, slipping through the closing doors, only glancing back once to watch Deidara not even paying them anymore mind, before it shut on them. She looked back at Sasori who seemed like he was smiling knowingly to himself, "What do you see in him? He seems really grouchy."

Sasori snorted in amusement, "It's not 'seems', he is." He blew out a long breath, looking up at the ceiling in thought, "But I like that, actually. Not only is it funny but also it's really sincere, so he shows just about everything he's actually feeling. Even if he doesn't realize it, which is why I know he likes me back."

Konan thought back to the blonde's words and actions. "Really? Doesn't seem like it."

"That's because for whatever reason he's determined not to. But, whatever, he'll admit it…. Saturday."

She looked up at him and for the first time she had a hint of a smile on her face, "You're going to get him from going to 'I hate him' to 'I love him'?" She asked dubiously.

Sasori stopped walking, and tilted his head in consideration. "No… he is."

-X-

"So is this going to become a thing where we sleep in the same bed as each other?" Sasori asked, already jumping under the covers of Deidara's bed.

Deidara turned over from his dresser after brushing his hair. He turned off the lights but allowed for the window's moonlight to stream in so that he could still see well enough. He looked down at him and pointed angrily to Sasori's own bed. "YOU ARE NOT SLEEPING IN MY BED. GET OUT RIGHT NOW, UN."

Instead of listening or paying this any mind, Sasori only snuggled further down, up to just below his eyes was underneath the blanket. He blinked and peered up at Deidara with wide pleading eyes, "I'm afraid of the dark."

"NO YOU AREN'T, UN." Deidara responded crossly.

"You don't know, I may very well be." Sasori's voice was muffled.

Deidara glared at him for a few moments before turning over to Sasori's bed. He stood there considering… Hidan and Sasori both slept in that bed. No, not in this lifetime would he even touch it. He chewed his lower lip and before Sasori could even process what he was doing Deidara ripped his own blanket from Sasori and took the pillow from Sasori's bed and set them on floor. He made sure to turn over the pillow before he planted himself on the ground and curled up in the blanket, ignoring how it smelled annoyingly like the redhead and tried closing his eyes.

Sasori sat up, leaning against his elbow and looked down at the little bundled ball on the floor, "You know you're quiet extreme." He mused to Deidara.

"You're quite annoying, un."

It was a quiet for a moment then there was a soft "All I am is a man-"

Deidara opened his eyes wide, "Oh god, stop this."

"-I want the world in my hands-"

"Seriously, no, stop, un."

"-I hate the beach but I stand in California with my toes in the sand-" Sasori's voice was becoming alarmingly enthusiastic and into the song.

"Please, just no." Deidara pleaded desperately.

"Use the sleeves on my sweater, let's have an adventure. Heads in the cloud but my gravity is centered~"

"Why are you doing this to me, un?"

"Touch my neck and I'll touch yours, you in your little high waisted shorts~."

"Ugh, I don't even dress like that, un." He raised his hands to his ears and tried blocking out the singing.

Sasori laid his head back on his pillow and closed his eyes, his voice gaining both strength and volume, "He knows what I think about and what I think about: one love, two mouths. One love, one house. No shirt, no blouse. Just us, you find out. Nothing that I really want to tell you about, no. BECAUSE IT'S TOO COLD, WHOA-" A hand clamped over his mouth and he opened his eyes and turned to stare into Deidara's wide, crystal like blue eyes, reflecting the moonlight quit mesmerizingly. Gently he removed Deidara's hand, but kept it in his clasp, " For you hear and now whoa. So let me hold your hands in the holes of my sweater~." He finished and leaned down to quickly peck Deidara's hand that too was illuminated in the silky moonlight.

Deidara looked down at his hand. A light smile forced its way on his lips and before he knew it he was laughing, his body rattling. With his free hand he removed his from Sasori's, who let go easily, just gazing brightly at Deidara's rare laughter. Deidara scooted back and crawled back onto the makeshift bed and into his warm ball, still trying to stifle his laughter, "Well on that note, I'm going to bed, un."

Sasori looked at Deidara's buried figured before turning over and burying his nose into Deidara's pillow, unlike Deidara, enjoying the smell of the other's scent. It wasn't long before they both fell asleep, facing opposite directions.

-x-

"… Deidara?"

Deidara blinked and turned over to Kisame, "Huh?"

Kisame looked at him questioningly, "You've been staring blankly for like ten minutes now."

His eyebrow's furrowed as he considered this, not really sure what he had zoned out over, "Oh."

Kisame leaned back to give Deidara an once-over, "Are you okay? You're generally… a lot more livelier, you always complaining about Hidan or Sasori."

Deidara absentmindedly began tugging at a random strand that fell over his one visible eye. He twirled it between his thumb and forefinger before softly snorting, "I haven't seen that whack today, un. Thankfully."

"… and Sasori?"

Deidara remained silently, pausing in his twirling of his hair. He looked intently at the strand. What of Sasori? Sasori wasn't there this morning when he woke up, which was weird since the redhead always seemed to be there, much to his annoyance and he wasn't at the table either. Where was he? Was he with Konan? Deidara's eyes narrowed at the thought and he wasn't sure why but he didn't enjoy the thought. He snorted. He shouldn't care; much less feel annoyed at those two together. Good riddance, that's for sure.

"… You're doing it again."

He groaned, realizing this time. Just as he smacked his head against the table, the bell rang and he quickly hopped out of the seat, ready to walk off those… what kind of thoughts were they? No. No. He began stalking out of the classroom, ignoring Kisame's odd look. Just as he got out of the door and was about to turn, someone grabbed his wrist and yanked him back to the spot near the door. He bristled in indignation and was about to yell when he looked at the person. His yell died before it surfaced. Sasori was coolly leaning against the wall and holding Deidara's wrist, swinging their arms back and forth. He looked at Deidara with the same dreamy expression.

After a brief moment where he looked blankly at Sasori, he seemed to regain himself and glared down at their arms, "Stop that, un." He wrenched his arm from Sasori, who once again, willingly let go, continuing to smile. Deidara looked at him suspiciously, "Where were you, un?"

"I got up early to continue working on the decorations."

"…Alone?"

The way Deidara said it made Sasori stop smiling. He questioningly regarded Deidara's face that looked like he'd swallow something sour, "… No, Konan was there." Deidara, feeling very irritated once more, nodded curtly, and got ready to turn around again but his wrist was once again grabbed, "Is something wrong?"

Deidara thoughtfully shifted his weight, annoyed at being annoyed, "I'm not sure, un."

It was quiet for a moment as Sasori looked at Deidara, who was stubbornly looking down at the ground, before Sasori's eyes widened, "Are you… jealous?"

Deidara looked up, his eyes flashing, "NO! I'm just considering how to tell you that Kisame asked me out to the dance… and I said yes." His own eyes widened as he finished, not sure why or how that even came out of his mouth.

But his wide eyes were nothing compared to Sasori's own large owl-like orbs. For a moment all Deidara could do was think about how weird it looked on the boy who's eyes were almost always half-way closed, "Really?!" He spluttered.

Again, there was a brief second of silence where Deidara looked at him then burst out laughing. He leaned over and nudged Sasori's shoulder with his own, "Nah, I'm joking. But that look was priceless… kinda wish Hidan was… here… with his camera." Forgetting about Sasori for a moment, he narrowed his eyes, it felt like he was forgetting something… then the bell rang. "Oh, shit, I'm late! Tsunade's going to kill me, un!" Without thinking, clearly without thinking, he leaned in and pecked Sasori's cheek, he didn't even need to wrench his arm out of Sasori's grasp for he dropped it on his own in shock, before turning the other way and sprinting down the hall. Only when he took his seat by Hidan did he realize that he had kissed Sasori Akasuna's cheek, purely because moments ago he was jealous. What. Just. Happened.

That class period was painful, and not for the reasons that it was math and he sat next to Hidan, but because he had spent the entire period, horrified and repeating the thought 'I kissed his cheek' over and over again. Not only that but he had the next class with Sasori… and... Oh god.

He had his head buried horrifyingly into his arms on the desk when he felt his head prodded with a pencil. He glanced up irritably at Hidan's face looking down at him, his hand still holding the pencil near Deidara, "What the fuck is wrong with you? You've been making sex noises for the last 30 minutes."

Deidara glowered at Hidan before turning his head the other way and muttering, "Go away, un."

"Fuck, I wish I could. This teacher is a heathen-cunt and it's math and don't even get me started on you-"

"Then don't. Don't get started." Deidara grumbled against his arm.

Hidan stopped and suddenly asked, "Something happen with your boy-toy?"

"HE'S NOT MY BOY-TOY, UN!" Deidara snapped, turning to glower at him.

Hidan nodded, having confirmed his guess, "Yeah, yeah, so what's wrong? Did he get you the wrong colored corsage? What doesn't go well with bitch?"

"Hidan, shut the fuck up. You're such an ear sore. I don't have any problems and even if I did, I wouldn't tell you about them, un."

"Jashin, Blondie, you gotta stop being a whiny bitch and just admit you like-"

"I DON'T LIKE HIM, UN."

"Fine. Don't admit it but stop being such a pain-in-the-ass all the time. I mean sure, he's probably Lucifer in human form, but he clearly he likes you and you're just being a major bitch."

Deidara looked at him crossly for a moment before muttering, "… am not."

"Really? You're always screaming at him and being a rude ass bitch. Just calm the fuck down. You don't have to force yourself to like him… just stop fighting it so much, cause if this period is anything to go by then clearly you have some feeling for him." He wasn't exactly sure when Hidan began to say the most effective things, but he was right. Annoyingly right and it bothered him more than the whole Sasori thing, because Hidan as an entity bothered him.

"… I hate you so much, un."

"Ha. Get in line, blondie, behind I-care-a-shit, cause both of you isn't allowed in the house of I-am-fucking-awesome."

They didn't talk for the rest of the period but then again that was the most they've talked and that was more than Deidara could handle. He didn't want Hidan to start lecturing him again and sound right, because that was unnatural.

The bell rang and this time Deidara was much more apprehensive in walking to his class. He didn't like the thought of listening to Hidan but then again he didn't like much as of late. He walked into the art room and felt his stomach do cartwheels at the sight of Sasori's back, which he tried to unsuccessfully qualm. As he walked closer he once again heard their conversation, "Seriously, I swear he kissed me this time. Clearly he wants me, all he has to do is ask." Sasori's fluffy red hair bobbed up and down as he nodded gravely to his own words.

Like the first day of school Deidara stopped behind Sasori and looked down at him. He rolled his eyes, but not feeling the anger he usually felt.

Itachi glanced up and smirked, he indicated with his head to Deidara. Sasori, quickly spun over his shoulder and flashed him a charming and haughty smile that seemed to have already been in place, "Hey, there gorgeous, you know if you wanted to kiss me again I wouldn't complain."

Deidara looked down at him, shaking his head and face palming Sasori, "Keep dreaming, un." He sat down and looked through his bag for a pencil.

He could hear Sasori's stool scrape across the floor and watched from his peripheral as the redhead leaned in, draping his arms over the table in front of Deidara, "You know I think it's safe to say that this is becoming closer to reality than fantasy."

Deidara glanced up after he found one and smirked, "You sure about that?" He said the phrase that seemed to come up most often in their banters, but he said it with a taunting smirk on his face, one similar to what Sasori would wear.

Sasori paused and his expression shifted to flirting to disbelieving, "Did something happen?"

Images of Hidan shot through Deidara's mind and he shook his head. "Weirdly enough, un."

He watched as Sasori sat up and leaned in to Deidara's personal space, his face too close as he peered at him with his large, seemingly liquid chocolate eyes. He blinked and Deidara caught himself watching as the long thick eyelashes moved together before they were once again opened wide. The pale hand came up and placed the back against his forehead. Deidara followed the movement with his eyes. "Are you feeling okay?"

Deidara snorted softly and lightly swatted the hand away, "Probably not, after all I am listening to Hidan's advice, un."

Sasori regarded him intently, "And what was it?"

He opened his mouth to respond when Sai interrupted, "It does actually get old listening to you two flirt every period, surprisingly enough." Deidara blinked. Every period?

-X-

Tsunade looked around the gym, "This… isn't exactly a winter wonderland."

Only Sasori and Deidara were in the gym with her, having kept their word. Sasori had contently lounged on one of the benches covered in a dusty, dark looking snow, whilst Deidara stood next to Tsunade. Deidara grinned enthusiastically, "It's better, un."

She arched an eyebrow, this being the first time actually seeing the student in a good mood, "Better? It's definitely… more creative. But what happens when they come dressed up festively to the dance?"

"We'll tell them not to."

Tsunade glanced over at Sasori, "And how do you plan to do that?"

"We already did." Deidara responded for him. Konan had anonymously been putting up fliers throughout yesterday and today.

She sighed and glanced down at her watch, only three hours left until the dance… well it did look spectacular for two less-than-ideal students. She nodded, "Fine, consider your debt paid, Iwa."

He grinned as they watched her leave. Sasori got up and made his way over to Deidara, "Well, good job, Iwa." He called out casually.

Deidara turned and looked at him, confused, "What do you mean?"

"It was your idea."

He smirked, "No, I think we can all agree you were the leader of this, un." His idea was truly amazing and creative, but that was to be expected.

Sasori took a step closer, "Well, yeah, I told you I'm good, but if it wasn't for your complaining then this wouldn't have happened."

Deidara snorted, but eyed cautiously how Sasori took another step, "Yeah, thanks, un."

"Actually a lot comes from your complaining."

Again he snorted and smoothed back his hair, shaking his head at what Sasori considered a compliment. "Again, thanks."

Sasori shook his head, "No, like I noticed you and took interest because of your testy behavior."

The corner of his lips curled upward, "Yeah?"

"And it caused me to fall for you." He stated as if both parties didn't know it.

"Gee, didn't notice, un." Responded sarcastically, giving a look that Sasori didn't return, which made everything feel very serious, and once again he felt nervous.

"… You know what I noticed?"

He chewed at the bottom of his lip, "Hmm?"

Sasori now stood less than a foot away from Deidara, eyeing him intriguingly, "You aren't complaining anymore."

"Don't get so full of yourself, un." Deidara looked away, dismissively but Sasori stepped into his field of vision, eyeing the blond curiously and sincerely.

"So what happened?"

But Deidara didn't have an immediate response. What exactly did happen?

Oh my god, I have no idea what to think of that. Like I said I would work on it all week but I haven't so I don't even know what to think of this. Excuse whatever came over me when I wrote… all of this. However the song being sung was Sweater Weather by the Neighborhood. They're kind of catchy.

Well this is the tenth chapter and I tried making there a giant leap in their relationship since they've kinda had the same relationship for the last… 9 chapters, whoops. But what do you guys think? I can't believe I've made it to 10 chapters! Whoop whoop. So it would be amazingly awesome if you read this and reviewed your thoughts as a something, I don't know what to call it. But seriously, please review, it would mean a lot to know what you guys think of this chapter or entire story, or if it's any good, cause seriously I sometimes doubt it. c: Keep being awesome people until next time.
