~And here is chapter 10! I hope you enjoy.~

Cry's POV:

Walking carefully, we made it to the bottom of the steep staircase.

Pewds stayed right behind me, scared of the dark I assume.

His hand made it's way to my arm, clutching it as if it were some sort of safety blanket.

He was always my protector, but there's something about him clinging onto me so scared like, that made me feel a bit stronger.

I suddenly felt like I was invincible with Pewdie by my side. Of course I'll protect him.

This made me smile, chuckling at the irony of it.

"W-what's so funny?" He asked me, still scared.

Shaking my head, I replied amused; "Nothing. Just thinking that you're so cute when you're scared."

Pewds clutched my arm tighter in response.

"I-I'm NOT scared!" He said hotly, making me even more amused.

"Adorable." I said, knowing Pewds was blushing even more now.

He didn't say anything for a few moments, and we focused on where we were going.

Then, I saw a faint outline of a door and I stopped in my tracks.

"I think I see a door." I said, snapping Pewds from his thoughts.

We hurriedly made our way there and saw a old wooden door with a giant black bolt boldly taking up most of it.

I touched the door and went still.

Something about this door was strangely familiar that I couldn't place.

That didn't matter because just then I felt a strange feeling that I was being watched.

I turned around abruptly, but didn't see anything.

Then, I heard a soft meow and looked down, my eyes meeting big yellow ones.

Pewds looked down too and sighed relieved, leaning down. "Aw, it's a kitty!"

When Pewds reached his hand out to pet it, the cat's back arched and it hissed, making Pewds hand snap back quickly.

I watched the small, black animal and realized with surprise that I KNEW this cat.

To answer my suspicion, I reached my hand down in front of it.

The tiny cat immediately touched my hand with it's face and started purring.

"Well, I see you're good with animals, Cry." Pewdie said, an upset tone entering his voice.

"I'm not particularly, I just know this cat. Her name is Kurai and she's mine."

I looked up at Pewds and he looked at me in disbelief. "But, if it's you're cat, then why is she here?"

I took a deep breath and stopped petting Kurai, making her meow in protest.

Ignoring her, I stood up and faced Pewds, feeling anxious all of a sudden. "I don't know how she's here. It shouldn't be possible."

Pewds stared at me with a confused expression. "What do you mean? Why isn't it possible?"

I looked down at the little creature that I know for certain is her, and said the most impossible thing that even I can't believe.

"Because... she's dead."

oooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOO00000000000000

Pewds confusion didn't leave. "W-what do you mean? She's right here."

I shook my head and looked back with the same confusion.

I still felt very sure that my cat was alive, but shouldn't be.

"I don't know, but she's somehow alive. I don't understand how since I saw her die. I held her just before she died of blood loss. " I said, sorrow swirling inside with the bitter memory.

"Pewdie, I know it's hard to believe, but Kurai died and now she's here, completely alive."

Pewds still looked doubtful.

When he opened his mouth to say something, Kurai hissed again, but this time looking straight at the old wooden door.

Pewds and I froze in place when we heard a noise coming from behind it.

I glared at the noise and grabbed onto the handle. "Come on, let's go."

Pewds was about to protest till he looked at me.

He must of saw something on my face cause then he gulped and looked at the door, nodding.

Slowly, I twisted the knob and pushed, the door opening with a groan.

Pewdie grabbed my hand and followed slightly behind me into the dimly light room.

I froze.

Pewds stopped with him and looked at his surroundings, his eyes widening with every inch he saw.

"No way..." Pewds breathed when realization hit me.

Now I know why it felt so familiar.

"Cry..." Pewds said shakily.

I looked over at Pewds and turned to what he was staring at.

I didn't say anything.

Right on what I believe is some kind of table was a corpse of a man I recognized immediately.

Angela's father.
