"I'm really sorry Mom...I didn't mean to run off like that but...Dad made me really upset." Grace said sincerely.
"I know honey...I'm just glad you're ok." Kathleen said nicely as she hugged Grace.
"But...aren't you upset with Dad? He cheated on you and our family." Grace said seriously.
"Of course I'm upset with him and...I think we're going to see a therapist...Like when we adopted Tom." Kathleen said honestly.
"Really? So...you're not going to get separated or..." Grace said surprised and then sadly.
"I don't know, Grace...I love your father but...I just don't know how I'm going to forgive him for what he has done." Kathleen said in a depressed tone as her eyes got watery.
"Well...I think you should do whatever is best for you Mom...I'm sure Tom and I will be ok with your decision." Grace said nicely as her eyes got watery.
"Thank you...And you know I love you two very much." Kathleen said as she wiped her eyes.
"I love you too...Good night." Grace said honestly as she smiled.
"Good night sweet heart." Kathleen said kindly as she smiled and walked out of Grace's room.
Meanwhile at Amy's house...
"Well Amy?" George said intrigued.
"We're keeping John and...Ricky apologized...He loves him too and said he'll try to be a better father...I guess we'll have to see." Amy said seriously.
"Oh good! I knew he could be a decent father for John! Where is he anyway?" George said happily and then intrigued.
"Ashley's reading him a bed time story...Thanks for being here Dad...I couldn't take care of John without you." Amy said sweetly and she gave George a short hug.
"I'll do anything for you, Ames...I love you." George said kindly.
"Love you too...Good night." Amy said sweetly and she went to her room.
"He's finally asleep." Ashley said nicely.
"Aww...He's so cute...Thank you for everything, Ash." Amy said happily.
"No problem...What did Ricky say?" Ashley said intrigued.
"He's going to help with John...And I'm sorry for yelling at you." Amy said sincerely.
"Good...I'm sorry too...Good night." Ashley said nicely and she started to walk out of Amy's room.
"Hey Ashley...You know that I love you no matter what, right?" Amy said honestly.
"Yeah...And I love you...Sweet dreams Amy." Ashley said smiling and she closed Amy's door.
Meanwhile at Adrian's apartment...
"Are you freaking kidding me?! Grace kissed you! That little Bible thumping, two faced, sl-" Adrian said as she started to raise her voice.
"Woah Adrian! Calm down! She just got confused...She knows we're together." Ricky said seriously.
"I don't want you talking to her anymore...Ugh...We've got to get her back with Jack." Adrian said in an irritated tone after she took a deep breath.
"Don't tell me who I can talk to! Grace is my friend! If you can't deal with it then maybe we should be done." Ricky said sternly.
"Excuse me? You're the one who let her kiss you!" Adrian said furiously.
"But it was a mistake! I love you Adrian!" Ricky said honestly as he raised his voice.
"That doesn't...Wha...What did you just say?" Adrian said annoyed and then surprised.
"I said I love you." Ricky said seriously as he pulled Adrian closer to him.
"I love you too." Adrian said sweetly as she put her hands on Ricky's neck.
"That's my girl." Ricky said happily and he gave Adrian a slow kiss.
"Aww...You're so amazing, Ricky...Let's go to bed." Adrian said kindly and she grabbed Ricky's hand and they walked into her room.
Meanwhile at Jack's house...
"Come on Grace...Please pick up the phone." Jack said a little irritated as he paced back and forth in his room.
"Jack?" Grace said intrigued as she answered her phone.
"Hey Grace...Are...you ok?" Jack said kindly.
"I'm all right...My parents are going to therapy." Grace said sadly.
"Oh wow...That's a good thing, right?" Jack said seriously.
"Well...It can be...No matter what happens, I'm going to pray for our family like I always do." Grace said honestly.
"Yeah...I'll pray for your family too...And...do you still pray for me?" Jack said nicely and then curiously.
"Thanks Jack...Of course I pray for you...Why?" Grace said sweetly and then concerned.
"No problem...I do think about you all the time...And I miss you-" Jack said kindly.
"That's really sweet but...I need time to help my family with everything that's been going on...Maybe I'll give you another chance...Just not now." Grace said sincerely.
"I understand Grace...Take all the time you need...You're worth the wait." Jack said seriously as he smiled.
"Thank you Jack...Good night." Grace said nicely.
"Good night...See you at school tomorrow." Jack said happily and he hung up.
The next day at Grant High...
"So...What did Ricky say last night?" Ben said intrigued as he sat next to Amy at a table.
"He's going to help with John...I just don't know how well it's going to work." Amy said seriously.
"Why do you say that? You don't think he's good enough to be John's father?" Ben said concerned.
"No! How could you say something like that?" Amy said surprised and a little irritated.
"It's just...He wanted to give John up for adoption." Ben said sadly.
"But he changed his mind...Everything's going to be fine, Ben...You'll see." Amy said seriously as she smiled.
"Is that your way of telling me that you have Ricky as a back up...In case we don't work out." Ben said quietly.
"Excuse me? I have no interest in Ricky! I love you." Amy said sternly as she looked up at Ben.
"All right...Just making sure...Heh...I love you too, Amy." Ben said kindly and he gave Amy a short kiss on the cheek.
"I know...You want to do homework with me tonight?" Amy said sweetly.
"I would love to...And sorry about Ricky." Ben said happily and then sincerely.
"Great...You can come over whenever...Don't worry about it...Everyone gets jealous." Amy said nicely.
"Ha ha...I guess so." Ben said smiling.
"Hey Amy...Ben...I could watch John tonight if you two want to do whatever." Ricky said kindly as he walked by their table.
"Hey Ricky...You don't have to...We're going to do homework at my house later...Plus Ashley will be there to help." Amy said seriously.
"Are you sure? He is my son too." Ricky said concerned.
"Yeah but...we can handle him." Ben said nicely.
"Oh can you? Last time I checked, you weren't John's father." Ricky said a little irritated as he looked at Ben.
"But...Amy said we'll be fine." Ben said annoyed.
"Right...If you need me, give me a call...Have a nice lunch." Ricky said a little frustrated and he walked away from their table.
"Can you believe him?" Ben said as he rolled his eyes.
"Don't be so hard on Ricky...He's really trying to change, Ben." Amy said defensively.
"Whatever you say, Amy." Ben said as he took a bite of his sandwich.
Twenty minutes later in the hall...
Grace was walking from her locker and she bumped into Ricky.
"Oh Ricky...I'm sorry." Grace said kindly as she looked up at him.
"Heh...It's all good Grace...How are you?" Ricky said smiling.
"I'm all right...How are you doing? I saw you talking to Amy and Ben earlier." Grace said concerned.
"They're doing ok I guess...and I am too...What's up with you? You don't seem like yourself." Ricky said seriously and then worried as he put some of Grace's hair behind her ear.
"That's good...And it's just everything going on with my parents and...Jack called me last night." Grace said sadly.
"Oh...You want to talk about it? We could skip class." Ricky said nicely.
"Heh...It's tempting but we probably shouldn't." Grace said worried as she smiled.
"If you guys are skipping class, I want to come with you." Adrian said happily from behind Ricky.
"Hey beautiful...Let's go." Ricky said smiling as he put an arm around Adrian.
"But...we could get in trouble." Grace said seriously.
"Oh Grace...You already are in trouble and we're here for you...Come on." Adrian said sweetly and they walked outside of the school.
Fifteen minutes later at the beach...
"So...you kissed Ricky?" Adrian said suspiciously as she sat next to Grace.
"Uh...I don't know what you're talking about." Grace said nervously as her face started to turn red.
"Heh...It's ok...He told me." Adrian said as she smiled.
"But...he's with you...I didn't mean to do it." Grace said honestly.
"Right...Just like you didn't mean to have sex with Jack?" Adrian said concerned.
"But that was different because...I loved Jack." Grace said sadly.
"Loved? You still don't love him?" Adrian said intrigued.
"I don't know anymore, Adrian...I just want to help my Mom with everything going on with my Dad...It's hard...Why would God let this happen to us?" Grace said worried.
"Ok...I'm confused...You don't love Jack but you thought it was ok to kiss Ricky? And I know your parents are going through a hard time right now and I'm sure they'll get through it somehow...Weren't you the one who said God puts us through tests to make us stronger?" Adrian said sincerely.
"You're right...He does...And...I was just attracted to Ricky cause he helped me feel better about everything...I couldn't get through this without you two." Grace said sweetly.
"You are very welcome, Grace...I got the smoothies." Ricky said happily as he sat next to Adrian and handed the girls their smoothies.
"Thank you hun...Isn't this much better than school?" Adrian said nicely.
"Heh...Yes it is...Enough about me...How are you two doing?" Grace said kindly and she took a sip of smoothie with a straw.
"We're doing very well...because we love each other." Ricky said honestly as he smirked.
"Finally...It took long enough...Now I won't have to make you jealous anymore." Adrian said relieved and then sarcastically as she smiled.
"Oh wow...Congratulations! You were going to make Ricky jealous again?" Grace said surprised and then intrigued.
"Yeah...Because of you...Heh...I was thinking about Ben actually...He's kind of cute in a nerdy way." Adrian said as she laughed.
"Seriously? He's a geek and with Amy." Ricky said a little irritated.
"Ricky! Ben's very nice...Amy's lucky to be with him...Are you jealous?" Grace said surprised and then concerned.
"Ha ha...No...I'm joking...Adrian's the one for me." Ricky said happily and he kissed Adrian on the cheek.
"Aww...You're so sweet." Adrian said nicely as she laid her head on Ricky's shoulder.
"Heh...You two are adorable...Why did I have to screw up everything with Jack?" Grace said smiling and then sadly.
"Hey...You didn't screw up anything...If it's meant to be, then it's meant to be...And if not, you'll probably meet a hot doctor someday...Or future doctor...He could go to our school or...maybe he's in college...You never know, Grace." Adrian said seriously as she smiled.
"Thanks Adrian...You're right...We should probably get going." Grace said sweetly.
"Or he could be a hot drummer who works at a butcher shop." Ricky said nicely as he winked at Grace.
"Ha ha...Very funny Ricky...You don't want to go for a dip first?" Adrian said sarcastically and then kindly.
"It's kind of windy." Ricky said worried as they stood up.
"What are you? A chicken? Let's go." Adrian said firmly.
"All right...Hang on!" Ricky said happily as he picked up Adrian and ran towards the water.
"Hey Grace...I heard you were skipping school." Jack said from behind Grace.
"Jack? What are you doing here? Grace said surprised as she turned around.
"Ricky texted me...He thought you'd want to see me." Jack said seriously.
"Thanks for coming...I'll always need you." Grace said sweetly and Jack pulled her into a hug.
"I'll do anything for you, Grace." Jack said kindly as he rubbed Grace's back.
"Heh...and I'll do anything for you...Let's go swimming." Grace said happily as she let go of Jack.
"Are you serious? It's going to be cold." Jack said surprised.
"Yeah but...there's this thing called body heat...I'm not sure if you've heard of it." Grace said sarcastically as she smiled.
"Ha ha...All right...I'm going to throw you in." Jack said as he laughed and picked up Grace and ran into the ocean by Ricky and Adrian.
