This is my tenth chapter of The Fox and the Hound.

Pairings: Todd/Copper, Chief/Cash, Waylon/Floyd (Slash)

Floyd and his brother had gotton the blanket, they grabbed each end and were walking back together until Waylon opened his mouth for a minute "I wonder what will the puppies look like? He asked.

"I'll be there going to be darn cute" Floyd let go as well. Waylon licked his brother's cheek. "What was that for? He asked, raising an eye-brow and looking at him confused.

"I donno, I just love my brother" He shrugged his shoulders and admitted his hidden kiss. Floyd was shocked but smiled and they nuzzled one another then parted. "Thanks, that was much needed.

"Come on, let's get on back so we can have some privacy" He picked his end back up, Waylon's tail wagged and picked up it. It wasn't that long back to the barn but they decided to run just for the fun of it.

Dixie was howling in pain while Zelda was bringing her a bowl filled with water. "Here, drink this" She said after finished pushing it in front of her then walk to lay next to her and rested her head on the Slender Saluki's tail.

Dixie slowly looked at the bowl full of water and aimed to drink until she felt like somebody was stabbing her right in the stomach and gasped, making her girlfriend open one eye.

She quietly grunted and got on up. "Dose it hurt? The cat asked, sitting in front of her while tending to her tail. "What do you think, this isn't fun" She said angrily. "Well, I actually never even felt the kind of pain" She said.

The dog sopped her madness and calmly said "you haven't been hurting? She asked. "No, I never even had a mate before I met you" The cat was licking her paw then sighed when she put it back down.

"To others, they see me as a depressed loner but I really care deep down" She smushed a frown. "You've been there for me and helped me find my happiness so it's my turn to help you. "Thanks, that means quite a lot" She smiled a little.

just the, the two females heard running coming for them, they looked to see the twin brothers. They stopped and panted hard. "We got a blanket" Floyd tried to say after he and his mate put it down. "Yep, here" he walked over to her bottom-half "let me get this blanket on you.

It didn't provide much, but she managed the warmth "You gonna be okay? Waylon asked. "Thanks for taking care of me" she looked at her ex boyfriend and his new mate walked passed them as well as the other "unlike some people" Crash just ignored her and snuggled up with the Iris Wolfhound to piss her off.

It worked as she opened her mouth and got up, but the pain forced her to lay back down. "Take it easy" The cat said. Cash eyes at the group and aimed at the twin brothers

"Floyd, Waylon..we're on" He ordered. The two were hearts of the band but cared for Dixie so Waylon asked about her. He scoffed "she won't be able to preform in the condition she is in" The twins looked at her and whimpered before slowly walked to the hounds.

Come, Granny Smith is waiting for us" He said walked towards the stage and they followed behind. "Cash, I'm a little nervous. "Don't worry, you got this and I believe in you" He said as a lack of encouragement then licked his cheek.

It was Chief's boost of confidence since he love it quite a lot. Winchell tabbed his microphone and announce the audience. "Here they are and with a brand my member to replace the Slender Saluki The Singin' Strays.

Granny Smith was sitting waiting for them, she scoffed "and they call old people slow" Cash walked by her side, appearing from behind the certain with the other following behind him.

They sat down "Where were you guys, I could've had a heart attack and not one of you would know" She said, a bit angary. "Sorry, me and Chief were" he paused "spending quality time together" He white-lied to not risk giving Granny a heat attack.

"Alright" She said, taking him on his word. Waylon and his boyfriend started off as usual, Cash warned his mate to get ready which caused him to gulp, this was his first time trying out his singing ability he never knew he had.

Todd was comforting his best friend turned boyfriend by nuzzling him. The hound was laid down with his paws covering his eyes and there was the fox right next to him. "I don't understand why he would shoot himself" He said weeping.

"I'm sorry, but he was aiming for me" Copper got up and sat on his butt "what do you mean? He asked. "he's a hunter and wild animals like me are what they like to kill" He explained, after getting up as well.

The hound just couldn't connect the lines until Todd clarified him "He loved her" Copper looked at him with worry in his eyes then just collapsed to the ground, crying. The fox was sad as well though, he cried on the inside.

He got down low and whispered "Copper" the hound lifted up a paw revealing one eye "you can't blame yourself" He said then though of a way to cheer him up so he pounced up on him causing them to roll once.

"Todd" He said shockingly and laughed when the fox was nibbling on his ear. He remembered when they played all the time and they could maybe do it again. Todd saw he was enjoying this.

Copper was giggling now as he rolled and pinned his mate to the ground. They relived that time as their most favorite memory.

I sense my future to be a famous writer one day cause I'm getting better with every chapter & story I do. Not much to say about this, but it seems like happy endings though I think I'll have Cash see to the puppies, I doubt it cause Dixie had forbidden him from seeing them.

I could do it the fan-way and make Cash and Chief have puppies of their very own.
