All four Slytherin students were put into a room together. The team had decided they were not guilty and that is was time to focus on another suspect before another killing occurred.
Sapphire Blake lived up to what the students said about her. She was beautiful. She has pale skin that looked paler with her dark black lipstick over her lips. She had long wavy hair that hit her waist. Her eyes were brown and had thick black eye shadow above and below her eyes except for the inner corners that were white. Her thin eyebrows were naturally enhancing her face. Unlike the others they had spoken to Sapphire was out of uniform and dressed for the games; she wore a grey long sleeved pullover with black jeans.
Marcy Dean was equally as beautiful however the exact opposite otherwise. Her skinned was tanned and she had bright blue eyes. Her eyes were done with shades of brown aside from a thin black line across the top of her eyes. She was also wearing blush in a light pink color that matched her light pink lips. Her light blonde hair landed a few inches above her waist and a few inches below her shoulders it wasn't incredibly wavy however had a slight bounce. She was also dressed for the games wearing, light blue denim short shorts and a tank top with ruffles.
"I lied earlier." Georg said.
"About?" Hotch questioned.
"Alicia" Eric began to fill in. "We knew" He looked around.
"We knew she was pregnant" Georg finished the thought. "We knew it was Dan's."
"It was all part of a more elaborate game." Sapphire said.
"Dan trusted the three of them it made it easy to use the games as a front." Marcy said.
"You were never on the team. Your name wasn't on the list." Hotch said.
"Well I still knew everything. All the Slytherins knew about Dan's games. About Dan's team" Marcy smiled.
Eric looked up at Hotch as he continued his story. "We made sure everyone in our house knew."
"Dan Kim couldn't trick a Slytherin. Much less get one to trick another." Sapphire said. "Some us went mo to the games anyway, we couldn't look suspicious. People like Addison Hollows. She is a first year. We would give her money and send her in then we would win it back. Or Charlie Becker same deal only he was a second year."
"You still haven't explained how you knew about Alicia's baby." Hotch said.
"The day she slept with Dan was the day we told her." Marcy said. "I thought it was time. The other kids in her year knew. We all told her that day."
"She started to argue with Sapphire at the game." Georg said.
"She told me if we didn't get her on the team she would tell Dan we told all the Slytherins." Sapphire filled in.
"We couldn't have that so we gave her something to drink and told her it would happen. We didn't think she would get that drunk." Eric said. "If we thought she would keep drinking we wouldn't have let her."
"But she had never had a drink before and soon she had a lot" Sapphire said.
"We told Dan we needed to leave" Eric continued. "And we left."
After a long pause Georg spoke "That night Kerri died. She was a friend and we will miss her. It wasn't till the next morning…"
"Marcy and I found Alicia sending an owl to Dan" Sapphire said.
"We suspected she was telling him the truth. So we grabbed the letter from her." Marcy looked away from Hotch. "We found out she thought she was pregnant."
"So Sapphire and I we told her if she told Dan about us we would tell the school she was with child." Marcy said. "We also told her we would block her from Professor's Avery potions. That would prevent her from getting an abortion. She would be kicked out of school."
"It is against the rules to get pregnant?" Hotch asked.
"It is against the unwritten rules. A social taboo. Even if the professors let her stay…" Marcy answered.
"The students would turn against her. She would probably end her own life or drop out." Sapphire said.
"She should be glad someone killed her. She is going down in history as the first Slytherin student murdered on campus. Very different reputation then the first Slytherin to kill herself or the first Slytherin to drop out. At least now her ending will be honorable." Eric proudly stated.
"We turned against one of our own."Sapphire whispered. "But only after she turned on us first."
"Well did any of you kill her?" Hotch asked knowing the answer.
"No" Sapphire said.
"No" Georg followed.
"No" Eric continued.
"No" Marcy finished.
"We cared about her" Eric began. "Like a sibling who catches you doing something wrong and threatens to tell your mom"
"So you threaten them back" Marcy said. "Nothing more then basic sibling rivalry."
"I believe you. Why did you lie before?" Hotch asked. "You have to tell me or I will be forced to pull all of you from the games. And we all know that without any of you Slytherin would lose."
"We lied because we hurt Alicia." Eric said.
"We hurt one of our own and didn't get a chance to make it up to her." Georg added as all four of them began to place gold silver and bronze coins on the table in front of Hotch. Once they were done the entire table was covered with coins. "That's her cut. Alicia's. If she had agreed to go in a few games. That is her cut from the only game she went to. Granted it was a great day. There were drinks and people on edge thinking they could be the next target. There was a lot of cash spilling."
"Converted to dollars." Eric added looking at Hotch. "U.S. dollars that is. This is about ten thousand."
"And she was new." Marcy said. "And not in Dan's circles"
"As members of the circle the three of us kept more. We had more to loose if Dan went down." Sapphire informed Hotch. "We also gave more to the older students. People who had been helping us longer."
"You guys can go back to the games just stay with your professor." Hotch said sending them away.
Upon walking back to the BAU team all eyes were on Hotch. There was complete silence until one person spoke.
"Do we think any Slytherin student could be a target? They were all in on the scam and conducting a scam on there own." Emily asked.
"We have been s busy interviewing suspects we haven't really spoken to each other and the professors about the meaning behind everything the unsub is doing. We don't know if the unsub is male or female." Morgan said. "Hell we haven't even established a timeline. Yet we gave a profile. What is happening?"
"Morgan's right. We should establish a timeline." Reid said as he walked over to the created yet untouched board. "Ok so where did this all start."
"Dan decides to star hosting illegal games." Morgan stated. "Then he put together a team of people who could help him out and cause all of them to win big together."
"Somewhere in there Dan, a half-blood convinced Georg, Eric, and Sapphire this was a good idea. Got them to join this crazy team" JJ added.
"Crazy rich" Morgan told her.
"Ok" Reid continued to write as he spoke. "Then Georg, Eric, and Sapphire told Marcy and any Slytherin that entered games the truth about them."
"Then our first victim Fred Lyson is killed." Emily said. "His murder is the first and yet ridiculously neat. After him we have Amanda Wea's murder. Then Samuel Henderson after her. All perfect kills."
"Well the Unsub has magic." JJ said. "After that Marcy tells Alicia about the games. Nut Alicia gets greedy. She demands to be a member of the team. She tries to blackmail Sapphire. But Sapphire is better at playing people. She gets Alicia really drunk. Anything out of a drunk first year's mouth no one will believe."
"But she ends up sleeping with none other than Dan Kim." Morgan continued the timeline. "They wake up with a bad hangover and news that Kerri Ann Nicklas is killed. Meanwhile Alicia finds out she is pregnant. Soon enough Georg, Eric, Sapphire, and Marcy find out about the baby. They return the favor by blackmailing Alicia. Then Dan finds out his drunken mistake is pregnant. He thinks that if Georg and Eric find out he slept with the innocent little Slytherin girl, they will end him. So what does he do?"
"He sleeps with the girl of his dreams, a muggle born Samantha Anderson." Hotch said. "That same night Alicia is killed."
"Then Mackenzie Kinder is killed." Reid said. "The same day we came to town. Equally as perfect as the rest. So what are we missing? Could there possibly have been more murders?"
"Not at this school. We would have been informed of anything unsolved." Hotch stated. "Garcia. Look at the disciplinary files of all the students we interviewed. See if anything pops out."
"Yes sir. Looking for a homicidal freak at a school of magic. Cross that one off the bucket list." Garcia walked over to her computer and began furiously typing.
"So far this unsub has been one step ahead. But now we have the leverage of knowing who the targets are. Lets make this count."
Suddenly the doors to the room were opened. "Sorry to interrupt" Rowena said running in, with Salazar close behind her.
"But Regina Boykit took a bathroom break without our permission. She's dead" Salazar finished.
"Take us to the crime scene" Rossi stated, and with a swish of Salazar's wand Rossi, Hotch, and Reid joined the four founders at the crime scene.
"Well this is my classroom." Nikki said entering from the door on the far end of the room. "Regina Boykit. Half-blood. Gryffindor. Fifteen."
Godric sat in a corner of the room as he mourned his student. Salazar walked to him and soon both were sitting down They are exactly like brothers. Hotch thought when suddenly.
"MARK!" Salazar yelled across the room. "Mark Eisenberg!" The boy was about sixteen and slowly attempting to pear into the classroom.
"Is is true?" He said through his tears. "Well… Is it? IS SHE? Professor?"
"Regina? Yes Mark. Regina is no longer with us" Salazar said getting up and walking over to him before placing his hand on Mark's shoulder. "Did you know her? She was a year younger then you."
"We were going to the formal dance together, the one after the games. It took me months to get up to the nerve to ask her out and now…" Mark began to cry once more.
Salazar looked up at Hotch. "Excuse me." he said receiving a nod from Hotch as he carefully guided the child away from the crime scene.
"It's not everyday you see a Slytherin crying over the loss of a Half-blood Gryffindor." Nikki smiled. "But when you do it's kinda beautiful."
"Shows us that we are all the same, doesn't it." Rowena smiled.
"Agent Hotchner." Helga's voice called.
"Yes" Hotch walked to her.
"It seems as though she entered through the main door. Then she walked over to that desk over there. We think she knew her attacker. The attacker stood up and killed her. The words are craved into the desk." She informed him. "We postponed the games three days. Please have this case solved by then."
