"Leo!" Piper called, running up to him. Leo brushed her off, not stopping when she grabbed her shoulder but continuing to rush away. She hurried after him, standing in front of him and preventing him from going any further.
"What?" Leo growled. Piper looked at him in exasperation.
"What happened?" Leo looked at his shoes, his brow furrowed.
"I guess she's just not who I thought she was," he said quietly. Piper sighed, wrapping her arms around him in a sisterly hug. She pulled back, patting his shoulder.
"You can't blame her." Leo rolled his eyes.
"You sound just like her."
"You need to go apologize."
"For what? I didn't do anything. She's the one who should be apologizing." Piper shot him a scornful look.
"That's not fair. You know it isn't. You were both stupid enough to sleep together, and now you both need to apologize. And don't forget, soon enough you guys will have a baby- a live, fragile being- that needs to be taken care of and can't be caught in the middle of constant conflict between its parents. Have you guys even prepared for it?" she asked.
"There's a crib in Reyna's room and a drawer full of baby clothes. We also have diapers and formula."
"Names?"
"Not really."
"Nursery in preparation?"
"We have paint and a mobile."
"Sleeping arrangements?"
"Depends."
"Which means..?"
"I'll sleep with her if we're getting along and in the guest room if we aren't. The baby will sleep in a crib." Piper sighed.
"You guys really need to have a better idea about what you're gonna be doing in less than two months. And in order to do that, you have to be able to understand and forgive each other." Leo remained silent for a moment.
"I already miss her," he mumbled.
"Exactly," she said, turning him around. "Now go back and apologize." He resisted her gentle pushing.
"I can't now. Not after everything I said," he protested.
"Yes you can. Swallow your pride. You love her. You can do this." He turned around.
"I can't. I really can't. Besides, Rey needs some time to calm down." Piper looked at him thoughtfully.
"Fine," she said with a sense of finality. "I'll go talk to her." And before he could stop her, she was already walking back to Reyna's house.
Yay! I actually got a chapter out! It's short, I know, but it's more of a transfer chapter. Next is girl talk between Reyna and Pipes. And please review! You guys really don't know how happy you can make me just by typing a few words and clicking a button. See ya!
