Chapter 10
Before I start the chapter, I just wanted to say I'm really sorry that I've gone a long time without an update, it's just I've been busy with stuff in real life, not only that, my PC was experiencing problems… again.
Anyway, I don't own Persona, it's owned by Atlus, but Nagito is owned by me, and co-owned by Immortal Thunder
April 23 – Gekkoukan High – early morning
Nagito was sitting at his desk waiting for class to start when Mitsuru came in the room and approached him.
"Good morning, senpai." Nagito greeted her happily. After knowing her for two weeks, Nagito could finally talk to her without getting nervous.
"Good morning to you as well, Ishikawa." She greeted back. "There's something I'd like you to do for me."
"What is it?" He asked.
"I have a special request for you." She said.
"Special request?" Nagito asked.
"I'll give you the details after school. Au revoir." She said, turning and walking out of the room. After she left, Nagito saw the guys in the room looking at him. They were dagger-like glares filled with jealously and hatred. I wanted people to acknowledge my existence, but not like this. He thought to himself, sweating nervously.
April 23 – Gekkoukan High – after school
After class was dismissed, everyone got out of their seats and left the classroom, except Nagito who was waiting for Mitsuru to arrive. While waiting for her, he decided to put on his ear buds and listen to the new single by Risette he downloaded of iTunes a couple of days ago. He absolutely loved listening to Rise Kujikawa's voice. He loved her songs and her cute voice, but felt as though she wasn't singing with enough passion, almost as she didn't want to. He also had many artists he enjoyed, he was also a fan of musicians like Yumi Kawamura, Shihoko Hirata, and Lotus Juice.
After five minutes of waiting, Mitsuru came in.
"You're still here. Good." She said.
"So what was that special request you wanted me to do?" Nagito asked.
"I would like you to join student council." She requested.
"Why all of a sudden?" He asked.
"You don't have to attend every day if you don't want to, I just need some additional assistance when it gets too busy. Since you have experience leading, I'd thought it'd be helpful to have your input on some things." The redhead said. "All need to do is go to the faculty office and ask them to sign you up."
"Alright, I'll do it, senpai." He said.
"Very well, then. I'll be waiting for you in the student council room when you're done. It's just across the hall from this classroom." She said, leaving the room.
After Nagito went to the faculty office and got signed up for student council, he returned to the junior wing and entered the student council.
"Ishikawa, there you are." Mitsuru said. "This is the student I was talking to you about. This is Nagito Ishikawa, please welcome him here."
"So you're Nagito-kun, huh? I was wondering what you were like." One boy said. He had slicked back charcoal hair and black eyes. He was wearing the standard male uniform and had a yellow band on his left arm that read disciplinary committee. "I'm Hidetoshi Odagiri, it's a pleasure to meet you."
"I'm Chihiro Fushimi. It's very nice to meet you, Nagito-san." The girl named Chihiro said nervously. She had long brown hair, brown eyes and was wearing glasses. She was wearing the standard female uniform.
"It's nice to meet you all." Nagito said, slightly bowing."
"If Mitsuru-san talks highly about you, then you must be good." Hidetoshi said with analytical tone of voice.
"I'll do my best." Nagito said. Suddenly, time froze again

"I just wanted to introduce you to everyone today. Ishikawa, I really appreciate your help." She said with a genuine smile, which Nagito found charming.
"O-Oh, no problem, senpai." He said, blushing and nervously scratching his head.
After attending student council, Nagito ate some takoyaki ate the Octopia stand and returned to the dorm
April 23 – dorm – evening
"What's up, dude?" Junpei greeted.
"Hey, Junpei." Nagito greeted back.
"I heard Mitsuru-senpai asked you join student council. Senpai, you sure want to let this slacker in?" Junpei said.
"It's not like he'll be attending every day, I only asked him to provide assistance when it gets real busy. Are you interested in joining, Iori?" She asked.
"Uh, no thanks." Junpei refused.
Nagito immediately returned to his room to study. After several hours of studying, he finally went to bed.
