Chapter 10:

Mr Peabody stuck in the middle of the room surrounded by glares and broad smirks from the security guards. Little did they know the genius was forming a plan this second in his head?

"If you knew what was good for you Peabody you would stay exactly where you are." Shura sneered.

"Okay, but first why are you wet?" Mr Peabody asked curiously.

Shura looked at her sopping wet fur and remembered she was just soaked with milk by the waiter. She turned her head and growled at the waiter, the poor waiter simultaneously spun round to run but his head came in contact with the light switch which eliminated all the lights of that room. Mr Peabody instantly darted and dodged past the stumbling guards outside.

"Hey who turned out the lights?" One guard shouted.

"Ouch! Someone just stepped on my foot!" Another guard shouted.

"You know what I've got a feeling that, that dog planned this." A dopey guard said.

"YOU DON'T SAY!" Shura screamed half sarcastically half angrily.

Shura ran to the wall and switched back on the lights, to see numerous piles of men moaning in pain but Mr Peabody nowhere to be seen.

"I'll get you Peabody if it's the last thing I do!" Shura screamed so loud with rage that the building felt like it was trembling.

Sherman made his way nervously to Penny. Penny saw him coming and a bright smile rose on her face.

"Hey Sherman what took you so long?" Penny asked.

"Me and Leonardo were talking and I need have something important to say." Sherman anxiously said and scratched the back of his neck.

"Yes?" Penny said eyes gleaming with hope.

" I -" Sherman got interrupted by the whooshing sound of WABAC coming into land.

Once the time machine landed neatly in Leonardo's garden, Mr Peabody came running out with a stern look on his face.

"Mr Peabody you're back!" Sherman said excitedly and ran to his dog father for a hug.

Mr Peabody gingerly gave his son a hug and looked deep in his eyes. Sherman saw his expression and knew something was up.

"What's wrong Mr Peabody?" Sherman asked with worry in his voice.

"Shura the cat is in future and she some hoe brainwashed the president into building a machine that will freeze time." Mr Peabody said with sorrow.

Everything was quiet the only sound that could be heard was the gentle summer breeze whistling through the trees, Leonardo could feel tension building up and couldn't take it anymore.

"What is she going to do?! What are we going to do?!" Leonardo blurted out.

"God knows what she will do which such a dangerous device but I know one thing for sure, we are going to visit different time segments of the past where we can use skillful and agile warriors to create an army to stop her before she creates that weapon!" Mr Peabody said dignified and proud.

"Yes!" Sherman and Penny screamed with hope.

"Hold on a second wait makes you think you two are going?" Leonardo pointing at the two youngsters.

"If I may interrupt Leo but I must take Sherman and Penny with me because as we both know that Shura is unpredictable and she will do anything in her power to distract me so I will not carry out my plan to stop her, so must take the children with me." Mr Peabody said.

"Fine, but be careful." Leonardo said sadly.

"Good bye Leonardo." Sherman and Penny chirped in.

The trio climbed in the WABAC and seated themselves, Mr Peabody used the controls to take lift off.

"So Mr Peabody where will we visit first." Sherman said happiness in his voice now that they will be traveling again.

"Hmm I think we will be going to Giza in Egypt since they will be the hardest to convince." Mr Peabody said.

"Yes will I get to dress up as Princess Hatshepsut." Penny said excitedly.

"I don't think so, but if you really wanted to you'd have to marry King Tut." Mr Peabody said.

"Hell no!" Penny said and shuddering at the thought.

Mr Peabody smirked at her reaction and turned back to the screen.

"Look we're here!" Sherman said and pointed out the window.

The landscape was mesmerizing with the magnificent royal palace standing out of the village which was busy with traders, builders and servants from the royal palace on their way to do errands for their master. The scorching sun was shining over the town, the palm trees loomed over the decent buildings and the river Nile flowed through out the city supplying them refreshing water.

"Wow its beautiful!" Penny said eyes wide open as she looked out through the window.

"Not as beautiful as you." Sherman mumbled, then quickly put his hand to his mouth.

"What?" Penny said surprised at his comment.

"Uh nothing." Sherman quickly said.

Mr Peabody landed WABAC outside the city walls and the trio changed into normal egyptian clothes and climbed out. A lot of noise was coming from the inside of the city.

"Mr Peabody what's all that noise coming from." Sherman asked.

"I think it must be a Egyptian festival." Mr Peabody said.

Mr Peabody knocked on the gates to of the city and the Arabic guard let them proceed.

Inside the village was a massive crowd of villagers cheering as humongous statue of Sokar (Memphite God of dead) was being carried around on a boat.

"Wow! That thing's gigantic." Penny said in awe.

"Oh boy." Sherman said scared.

"What is it?" Penny asked confused.

"That." Sherman pointed.

Soon enough after the statue of Sokar had passed them the snobby young brat King Tut was being carried on his gold throne by slaves.

"Hello peasants I can tell you what a glorious pleasure it is for you to be greeted by my presence." King Tut said confidently.

Penny's smile turned into a death glare at the sight of her ex fiancé.
