A/N: Hey! I did pretty good, I updated again! Hopefully you guys will enjoy this.

Recap: "Go out with me on Friday. I'll pick you at six." he stated in a tone with no room for objections.

He drove away and my face heated up in an instance. I couldn't lie to myself at that point. I was attracted to Uchiha Sasuke.

Tuesday.

I replayed the events that happened on Monday over and and over in my head. I couldn't believe that occured. I watched as he drove away and my face burned with heat. I remembered that I told him that we wouldn't go out in public together. Why did he still choose to ask me anyway?

Wednesday

Oh my goodness, it was Wednesday. I couldn't handle this, the time passed way too quickly. I couldn't understand why I had excitement running through my veins. Shikamaru had noticed it.

"Hinata? You seem different today. Anything exciting coming up?" he asked with a smirk on his face.

I blushed and I felt like a normal girl who was excited for her very first date. I would've never guessed I could be able to feel that way.

"N-no Shikamaru. I'm just e-excited for t-the weekend. Can't I be e-excited?" I stuttered.

I hadn't tripped over my words very much since I had become friends with Shikamaru. He grinned lazily and he patted my head. I tensed slightly by his touch, but I tried to let my guard down with him since he hugged me or with anyone in that matter. I tried coping with my anxiety ever since that incident. I felt like we connected for a slight moment in a way I couldn't explain. I was surprised that he never left and I felt that it shifted our friendship closer.

*Shikamaru's POV*

I watched her face and I saw the delight in her eyes. My heart quickened and I decided to ask her why she was excited.

"Hinata. You seem different today. Anything exciting coming up?" I grinned.

She flushed a pretty, pale pink. My heart began to pulse faster if that was even possible. She twiddled her fingers and shook her head.

""N-no Shikamaru. I'm just e-excited for t-the weekend. Can't I be e-excited?" she stumbled out.

Although I wanted to laugh at her cuteness, I decided to pat her on the head. She stiffened slightly, so I acted like I hadn't noticed. Ever since she allowed me to hug her that day, I felt like she started to be more open with me and I knew I finally felt something special for her. I just didn't know what yet.

Thursday

The entire school week Uchiha-san had put distance between us. He would take me to class in the morning, but that was all he would do. When he walked me to class that morning, I finally had the courage to ask.

"U-um U-Uchiha-san were you being serious that you w-wanted to hang out on Friday?" I asked shyly.

His eyes widened in surprise and then his serious mask came back on. He nodded curtly and turned to stride to his class. He was about to walk to class until he spun back around and caught me in his arms. I was stunned and he had a proud smirk on his face. He kissed my nose softly and I felt like my heart was about to jump out of my chest.

"You called me that stupid honorific again." he chuckled darkly.

"Sorry." I squeaked.

That's all I could think about for the rest of the day.

Friday

School had ended and Neji-niisan waited in the parking lot for me. I got into the car hastily and Neji stared at me with a puzzled look.

"So, I'm expecting that I have to fetch dinner tonight for myself then since you have plans I believe?" he chuckled with a small smile on his face.

I wanted to deny, but nothing escaped my cousin. I smiled and nodded slightly he saw through me easily.

"If you're going out on a date, then why don't I take you to store and buy you something nice for yourself?" he offered slyly.

With that tone that meant he was going to take me. I told him that it was fine and that I didn't need anything fancy. He took me to the mall anyway even though I refused during the whole car ride.

Time passed in the mall and we couldn't find anything. We walked through store after store and Neji finally cracked.

"That's it. We're going in here Hinata. I'm tired of this." he snapped.

I snickered at his impatience and I obliged to his demand. I started to feel my uneasiness slip away from me. We entered the boutique called 'Simply Sweet' and we dived into our journey.

After many dresses, pants, shirts, and shoes, we (Neji) had found an outfit. He smirked in triumph and he took me to a make up store afterwards. The lady did my makeup for free and she helped me pick out makeup to buy and take home.

It was four thirty once we got out of the stores we needed to be in most. Then, he took me to a hair salon to get my hair styled. After another forty five minutes, my hair was in soft loose curls and I didn't dare look in the mirror. I had asked the lady to turn my chair around so I didn't face the mirror. It was already five-ish and the time was cutting close.

We made it home and Neji called Hanabi to make sure she wasn't home to see me arrive with my new things from him. Once he heard her say that she was spending the weekend with her friends, he told me to hurry up and dress in my new clothes.

I ran to my room and put on the new dress he chose for me and the pretty gold flats on. The dress was a salmon knee length dress with an a-line neckline. I wasn't comfortable with my arms, so I threw on the brown leather jacket over. I walked toward my mirror and I gasped at my own sight.

*Sasuke's POV*

I had no idea what to wear, so in the end I asked my aniki to help me. He poked at me nonstop and I finally lost it.

"Okay! I have a date in the next thirty minutes and all I want is you to help me dammit! So please." I demanded with exasperation.

It was almost as if my mother, Uchiha Mikoto, had amplified hearing and opened my door with a bang. She took my face into her hands as I struggled to get out of her grasp.

"Are you serious? My Sasu-chan has a date with a girl? Or boy? Oh it doesn't matter, but you're going out with someone! Oh my." she gushed in excitement.

I glared at her while my brother laughed at her antics. I wanted to chuck my phone at his face, but he left the room before I could do anything. It was already five thirty and my mother gasped at the time.

"You have to leave soon don't you? Okay, my dear son. Let's find you some clothes!" she pulled me with force.

She grabbed clothes for me in record time and kissed my cheek and flew down the stairs. My mother chose clothes that I actually liked.

I pulled them on quickly and I stopped in the mirror to check on my hair. Hold on. Why did I feel the need to impress the girl? No, why I did I tell her to go out with me today? I had no clue in what the hell I was doing.

I went downstairs and my mother held freshly cut white roses. She handed them to me and pulled me into a hug. I put my hands on her back and patted her. She sniffled and my father cleared his throat. I didn't notice that he came in.

"Have a good time son." he muttered quietly.

I nodded and said thank you and my mother finally let me go. She grabbed my hands and I bent down slightly to let her kiss my forehead.

"Make her have a wonderful time Sasuke. It makes me so happy, you're growing up." she said warmly.

I nodded again with a lump in my throat. If only she knew that this relationship wasn't real, I knew it would break her heart. I walked out the front door and headed to Hinata's house.

*Hinata's POV*

I couldn't believe that was me in the mirror. My eyes popped with the champagne and brown eyeshadow and my eyelashes caressed my cheeks as I blinked. My lips colored with a light pink lipstick. For the first time in years, I felt truly beautiful.

I heard the doorbell ring and my heart thumped against my chest. I walked out of my room and Neji had just came out of his room. He looked at me and his eyes softened completely. He grabbed my hand and led me down the stairs. He grabbed my shoulders and stared right into my face.

"Hinata. I want you to know that I want you to have a great time. Forget everything about this house hold for just a while and let yourself go. Okay? You look beautiful." He said warmly.

I wanted to cry from his kind words, but instead I hugged him with all of the strength I had. I kissed his cheek and he pulled out some diamond earrings and put them in my hand. He told me to put them on and I did so.

I slowly stepped up and opened the front door.

*Sasuke's POV*

I made it to her house and I went up to the front of her door and I was right on time. I had left the roses in the car and decided to give them to her when her cousin wasn't around. I rang the doorbell and waited for someone to answer.

I stood there for a couple minutes until I heard the 'click' of the door being unlocked. The door opened and a beautiful girl with a pink dress was standing there. Her peculiar, opaque eyes had captured my attention. It was Hinata.

A/N: Till next time lovelies. :)
