Summary: Just enjoy the chapter :) I'm terrible with summaries. But I am glad to see you all are favoring and following. I appreciate that.
Serena and Diamond did not realize how much time had passed. Noon was coming around. Long have they forgotten to eat anything all day because they spent most of their time in the bedroom. Diamond felt fine, it was Serena who was complaining. So the two got dressed: Serena wore what she had on last night, and as for Diamond a total different outfit. Once they were dressed, the two walked hand in hand together out of the bedroom, to the kitchen.
"So what do you wanna eat love?" he releases her hand, and watches as she mingled around the kitchen for a minute.
"Mm.. I'm not really sure," she stops mingling around and just stands still, "kinda in the mood for fast food," Diamond notices her eyes were pleading him but he wasn't so sure because with Darien on the lose, they could bump into him and that would be big trouble for both of them. Diamond shakes his head than turns his back to her; looking down at the ground,
"That's not such a good idea love. I don't feel so confident enough to take you out anywhere at the moment not even to your house to pack stuff this week. Especially with him running around, where ever he is." Serena walks up behind him, her arms wrap around his sides; as her head lies against his back, "We'll make time. If I have to, I'll rush. And okay, if no fast food how about a pizza than?" Diamond had to laugh; this was almost like an argument now. Though, he reasoned.
"Alright love." Serena lifts her head up, "What my prince?" Diamond smiles to her calling him 'her prince' just as he would call her 'his princess.'
He turns around, "We'll get a pizza my princess." Serena hugs him happily, "Thank you."
"But-" Serena pulls out of his embrace, "But what?" She asks, "Come later tonight, say midnight we'll drive over to your house so that you can pack."
"Oh no no no, not midnight."
He looks at her with a questioning look, "Why not love? That's perfect because your ex will or should be in bed by then." Serena argued back, "That's not perfect, my family will be sleeping."
"Well baby, there's no other way. Either we eat or get your stuff now, can't do both. It has to be one or the other. And if we go to your place now, like you said you'll be quick about it. Than we will come back here and eat whatever you want. I don't want to be out there too long." Serena sighed, "I'm sorry Diamond. I'm just trying to make things easier for us." Diamond takes her into his arms, "I know baby, but we got be cautious. I don't want any fights with him right now. Not ever to be more honest. I wanna avoid him. Baby, I am not like how I was back then. I can fight, yes." He caress her face, "that's not the issue; the issue is he has powers, I don't. You don't want to see me hurt or rather worse. When or if he decides to leave the two of us alone, we'll go out more. For now, it has to be like this. So what shall we do eat or go get your stuff?" Serena looks around the kitchen, "I can avoid my stomach for a few."
"Good my princess, so let's get going."
Serena and Diamond had put on their flip-flops.
"Ready? He asked as their hands joined, "Yes love."
They started walking together to the door that led outside. He kept her close as he locked the apartment door; even after when they started walking again. No one aint going to take her from him. Diamond was very cautious with each step they took.
(I know too overprotected, but he loves her.) When they got to car, he quickly opened her side door than pushed her in, which he apologized after when he got the engine going. Serena understood his behavior he was only being protective. So his apology was not really needed. As he drove, Serena turned the radio on to ease up some of his tension.
*You don't have to read the lyrics :D*
(Everything You Want- by Vertical Horizons) Was playing
Somewhere there's speaking it's already coming in
Oh and it's rising at the back of your mind
You never could get it unless you were fed it
Now you're here and you don't know why
But under skinned knees and the skid marks
Past the places where you used to learn
You howl and listen, listen and wait for the
Echoes of angels who won't return
He's everything you want, he's everything you need
He's everything inside of you that you wish you could be
He says all the right things at exactly the right time
But he means nothing to you and you don't know why
You're waiting for someone to put you together
You're waiting for someone to push you away
There's always another wound to discover
There's always something more you wish he'd say
He's everything you want, he's everything you need
He's everything inside of you that you wish you could be
He says all the right things at exactly the right time
But he means nothing to you and you don't know why
But you'll just sit tight and watch it unwind
It's only what you're asking for
And you'll be just fine with all of your time
It's only what you're waiting for
Out of the island into the highway
Past the places where you might have turned
You never did notice but you still hide away
The anger of angels who won't return
He's everything you want, he's everything you need
He's everything inside of you that you wish you could be
He says all the right things at exactly the right time
But he means nothing to you and you don't know why
I am everything you want, I am everything you need
I am everything inside of you that you wish you could be
I say all the right things at exactly the right time
But I mean nothing to you and I don't know why
And I don't know why, why? Why? And I don't know
*20 Minutes later*
Diamond parked the car close enough to the sidewalk as much as possible. Serena got out first; he followed after leaving the engine on. Diamond felt to nervous and just decided to stand by her side of the car, "Go ahead, I'll wait here baby." Serena turned around and rushed back to him; grabbing him by the arm, "C'mon my mom will love you! My dad, just say you're a friend."
Serena and Diamond got up to the door, "You're fine," she knocks one time. Serena mother answered the door, "Oh I thought you were at Rei's." Her mother smiles at her daughter.
"Well I needed clothes, see she wants me to spend the whole week with her; as a study session sleepover."
"Who is this lovely gentlemen?" Miss Tsukino looks over at the nervous man next to Serena and smiles.
"My name is Diamond," he greets her with a nervous smile back, "Nice to meet you Miss Tsukino. Serena has told me so much about her family." Which that was a lie, Serena never said one thing about her family to Diamond.
"You a friend of Rei?"
"Oh yes, she asked me to drive Serena here to pick up a few stuff."
"Well my dear Serena, don't wanna keep you any longer. Go on ahead." Serena went on in as Diamond just stood by the door.
"You're welcome to come in Diamond if you like." Miss Tsukino offered kindly.
"Oh no thank you ma'am, but thanks." He said kindly back.
"Such nice manners you got, so tell me about yourself."
Diamond nervously crossed his arms and swallowed hard, "Well..." he started as he tried to come up with something simple, without saying about his past and where he came from.
"...I work at the Hikawa Shrine. I help Rei's Grandpa with chores and such. Get paid decently but hope later to find a job that suites me."
"Any parents?" Serena mother asks. Diamond nods, "They're...both dead."
"Oh I didn't mean to ask," she says out of sympathy.
"It's okay, I didn't know them too well. My brother and me only had each other. We grow up together...til," he doesn't say about Sapphire death, "Well I really have no one except Rei and her friends. They look out for me and I appreciate everything they do for me, I would protect them with my life if something serious happens. Out of their own kindness they all chipped in and bought me my apartment."
"Oh how nice of them."
Miss Tsukino facial expression suddenly changes; from a listening expression, to a curious expression, "Diamond, can I ask you something?"
He gulps hard, "Sure."
"Is there anything wrong with my Serena?"
"Well-"
"Okay! I'm done." Serena interrupts the two, "I'll be back Saturday or Sunday night mother, please don't worry." Her mother pulls her daughter into embrace, "I know you're staying with him," she whispers into Serena ear, "I won't tell your father. You are old enough to make your own decisions. But please if you are having sex with this guy be responsible."
"Mother..." Serena pushes away than whispers, "How did you know?" Serena mother gets close to her again and whispers, "Because you are just like me when I was 18. Please be careful. I love you, nice guy by the way. Boyfriend?" Serena smirks at her mother, "Yes mother I'll be careful. Love you to. " She says out loud, acting like nothing was said between them.
"Drive safely, nice meeting you Diamond."
He waves goodbye and than gets into the car. Serena waves at her mother one last time and off they went.
"She knows." Serena informed him.
"What?! But how?"
"Don't worry she's not mad. And she won't tell my dad anything. You're safe."
"Okay, because I don't need your father coming after me. As long as your mother-"
"She won't. Calm down." She hears him breathing heavy. Diamond takes a deep breath in, "So you got enough clothes, feminine needs and such?"
"Yes love I'm good." Diamond relaxes his tension, "So she knows we did it?"
"No, she knows I'm staying with you. But she did say if we are doing it be responsible about it."
"Responsible like?-"
"You wear a condom. Don't worry I'm on birth control." He lets out a deep sign, "Good to know. I was going to say last night I didn't wear one." Serena shakes her head, "That's okay."
"So..." Diamond starts up another conversation, "your mother, what does she do?"
"Stay home mom and my dad; he's works for a magazine company."
"Any siblings?"
"My brother, Sammy. He's going to be in the 8th grade coming this September."
"He on summer break?"
Serena rolls her eyes, "Yes, because he's only in middle school. So he got out early."
Diamond voice slowly fades in, "I see, well since you're going to be with me this whole week I'll take you shopping for your prom dress." Serena shows a little smile but it quickly fades when she realizes he'll be spending money on her and she doesn't want him doing that.
"No need to baby."
Diamond felt quite offended, "...but I want to, because I love you Serena."
"Awe but baby, I don't want you to spend any money on me."
"Baby, aren't I spending money on you tonight for the pizza?"
"Well true, but a dress is more expensive."
"It's no problem baby."
*10 Minutes Later*
They arrived back at the apartment complex. Diamond finally was able to relieve his tension, knowing that he had her back safely. The two joined hands and walked together to his apartment. No need to worry about her bag, she already had grabbed it from the backseat after he had gotten out of the car.
"Well that was fun." He said while unlocking the door.
"See, my mom likes you."
Diamond opens the door, "What about your dad?" Serena shrugs her shoulders as they both walk in together, "I'm not so sure, you are a little older than me. He thinks women should date men close to their age. He wasn't to happy seeing me with Darien back then. But hey I was only 15, so that's understandable. He might change his mind now, since I'm older." Diamond closes the door and locks it. "Your mom seemed okay with it, since she kinda figured we were seeing each other."
"Well that's because my mom dated older guy's before she meet my dad."
Diamond laughs, "Well I'm safe than from your mom. Your dad, I have to be careful." Serena pulls him into embrace, "he'll warm up to you, give it time." He embraces her with a little more pressure, "I'm not worried about it, and my concern is you." The embrace felt like eternity but the moment they broke away from one another they fell right into a kiss. Diamond was using little tongue between kisses, pushing his blonde princess back up against the couch. Serena found support, holding onto the edge of seat while his lips and tongue were kissing hers. And there she felt his hands wandering up your body, those warm hands feeling every curve, every length of her. Serena tried not to moan, but couldn't help herself, those wanting hands drived her crazy. Her moan broke the kiss but that didn't stop those breath taking lips of his. He kept kissing down. Serena fell back onto the couch taking Diamond with her. They propped themselves, him on top and her up against the armrest. Their lips kissed each other very passionately. He certainly was a good kisser and definitely good at touching those sensitive spots.
Every touch was like a relief to her body, taking her mind off whatever tension or stress she was having. Every kiss was like a burning passion of flames, sending her senses on fire. And when his lips kissed her most sensitive spot, her mind would scream his name; her hands holding tightly onto reality as she bit her bottom lip. Lost of focus on what they wanted to do earlier. Clothes were thrown across the room. Two warm bodies came one again, calling out each other name. Tenderly kisses, feeling and touching each other body. Loud moans filled the room, shouting each other name once more. Than they collapse, sweats pouring down their bodies. Telling each other how much they love one another. He would caress her check she would pet his head.
Eventually they dozed off for a while holding each other tightly. Again they had forgotten about eating, to distracted from going to her place coming back making out than falling asleep together. Not like Serena has skipped eating before. There were nights she didn't wanna eat anything at all because being so upset about Darien not answering her back, so this wasn't a major issue. Besides, it was only 3 o'clock.
*An Hour Later*
Serena woke up to the sound of loud rumbling thunder and hard pouring rain pounding on the window. "We're in for more." She watched as the tree branches shifted back in fourth in the heavy blowing wind. Diamond however was sound asleep with his chest against her back, arms around her waist and his hands up by her breasts. Kinda surprised her from what was going on outside it did not arouse him in anyway. He was out cold. Looking over at the clock it read: 4:15 p.m. Serena now has realized both her and Diamond had not ate all day not even in between snacks when they were in the bedroom making out. She was feeling a little quizzing somewhat lightheaded. Trying her best not to wake her lover up she carefully removed his hands and arms that were well secured around her. When she broke free she eased herself up than swung her legs over the edge of the bed.
"Where you going my love?" Diamond quick action pulls her back down next to him holding tightly once again in his arms. She reacts quickly, "I'm hungry! We haven't eating all day." He nuzzles his head into her hair. "Don't go." He tries convincing her to stay kissing up and down her neck. Serena grabs at his face, "Diamond please I'm feeling lightheaded." He releases her, "Okay my love." Her eyes stare into his with apologetic look. He smiles telling her it's okay.
"I'll be out there in a minute." Serena kisses him fully than gets up from the bed to find wherever her underwear had gone and a t-shirt to put on which she did not have. Standing topless she looks desperately back over at him.
"Diamond, may I borrow a shirt that I can just throw over me?"
"Long t-shirt?" He asked if that's what she meant. She covers herself feeling embarrassed, "…yes"
"Love remember what I said about hiding yourself?"
Serena face turns a bright red, "I'm sorry." He just loves her innocence smiling sweetly at her, "Don't be. The t-shirts are in my closet right behind you." Serena giggles at herself for not knowing. Right when she slid the door she immediately saw varieties of t-shirts hanging up.
"May I choose any?" She asks not knowing what be okay to wear. "What's mine is yours my angel." Diamond had t-shirts with band logos, slangs, from what she could see and all selection colors were in only in black. So it really didn't matter. Scattering back and fourth again and again through hundreds of varieties one t-shirt finally caught her attention
"Found one!"
"Lemme see love." Serena moved off to the side allowing him to see what she had selected. "Linkin Park, well that's one thing we have in comparison."
"May I wear it?" she removes it off of the hanger. "Go ahead whatever you wanna do love. Preferable I would want you without any clothes." She blushes slipping the shirt over her head, "Don't tease me like that." Diamond chuckles. Without anymore further punishing of being teased by her lovely prince Serena was able to go out into the kitchen. She lingered around a bit trying to find something to eat or rather to snack on to hold out til dinner. There really was no point to snack on anything to be persist, since it was now 4:30 p.m.
"Diamond?"
"Yes my beautiful angel?" Serena smiles loving how he calls her by several names. "May I go ahead and order the pizza?"
"The number up on the fridge baby. Order what you want but don't go over 20 bucks. I won't get paid til next month from Rei's grandpa."
"Anything in particular you want?"
"What you order is fine by me. And another thing love do not call from the main phone line please use your cellphone. We have to take precautions now because I have no idea where your ex might be working at."
"But wouldn't he be able to tap my phone?"
Diamond sighs in frustration but she did make a good point if possible Darien could tap her phone and would be able to determine her location.
"Baby do you know if your phone location is turned off?"
"Umm I'm not a technology geek." Another sigh comes from him, "I'll look at that. C'mere real quick you need to see this text from him anyways." Serena felt a twist in her stomach the second after he notified her of the text. Right when she entered the hallway Diamond was standing in the doorway with an anger look upon his face. She knew now he was beyond pissed of the situation they were in. His blond princess could see the frustration and it took major effect on her. Right as approached closer to him without warning he threw her phone down and speed walked back into his room, "I'm gonna go find him!"
"Diamond don't!" she rushes after him putting her arms around his waist holding him tightly with her head laying on his back.
"Please I don't want you to get hurt."
"I want him to leave you alone. Read the text." Serena retrieves her phone the floor and reads the text to herself. "Serena my love I don't know how to say this or what he's making you believe. But none of this is true. I would never cheat on you. We're destined to be together please you got to believe me. I know I never replied back to your phone calls or any letters you sent. I was busy. Yes, I should have took the time for you but I didn't. Please don't believe his lies. He's trying to break us apart. Call me later. I need to hear your voice." –Your love always Darien
Serena was quite baffled by this. She didn't wanna believe this was some plot Diamond was setting up. Rei saw the good in his heart it was full of pure sweetness. Serena felt it herself. There was no way Diamond was still evil. And even back than he changed his ways before he died he vowed to help them fight Wiseman but he couldn't.
"Please don't go after him. I will settle this with him right now. I know deep in my heart you're not trying to hurt me in any way. I love you Diamond. But I'm gonna go see him. I'm asking that you come with me but please don't hurt him." Diamond clutches his fists together, "Alright baby I'll go with you but don't except me to keep my mouth shut if I need to say something." She walks up behind him taking him in her loving embrace, "We'll get a quick bite but first may I borrow some pants?"
"In the second drawer they are some grey sweats." He instructed her. Serena released him but before she could even move he turned around and pulled her into his loving embrace. "I love you Serena. You're my angel." She returns the embrace hugging him tighter, "I'll always be yours." He whispers into her ear, "I'll always protect you."
They both felt uneasy feeling in their gut. Unprepared of what they will face when they go see Darien, but if it is to get him to leave her alone for good she must be strong and tell him what needs to be said. Breaking away from each other embrace Serena went on over to his dresser opening the second drawer for the grey sweats. Soon as she was done she sat down on the edge of his bed catching her breath. All what has been happening she needed a moment. Diamond certainly felt it. He took the infinitive to go fix them both something to eat before leaving to her ex's apartment. While waiting patiently her phone vibrated again "Waiting for you to call me." –Darien
She types back, "Actually I'm planning to see you tonight with Diamond and I don't care how much you don't like him. We're settling this now."
Immediately reply came back, "What?! No no this is not acceptable." She replies, "I'm bringing him with or without your approval."
He types, "Why can't it just be me and you talk? Serena you can't be serious. Do you honestly love him?" Her reply, "I'm not your concern anymore. We're coming over and that will be it." No text back. Diamond returned with their food, "Hurry and eat than we will go." Wasn't very long after though this was just enough to hold them until they came back.
"Ready?" his comforting touch made her feel a little at ease. Serena breathed in than out, "Yeah let's get this over with."
Authors note: Wonder what will happen? :D More on the way.
