Note: Even though this chapter is about Takuya being traumatize of using his Beast Spirit again, I'm gonna have that half to be focusing on Amy chasing down a new Digimon I've heard and seen online.

APOV

Where were we? Oh, right. Agunimon is being possessed by his own Beast Spirit.

"Takuya, stop!" I heard KendoGarurumon when I watched him gotten close to the half phoenix, the Beast manage to whack the wolf across the face, sending him flying, towards my girl while I flew in to stop the Beast of Flame.

"Canis Beam!" I hit the attack towards the ground, seeing the half phoenix backed away. "Stop it, Takuya, please!" I pleaded, but he went ahead spin around and uses his tail at me. "Whoa!" I flew up, but gotten hit by his laser attack. "Ahhh!" Sending myself falling to the ground.

"Gotcha!" If weren't for the big wolf catching my skirt in his mouth. "Are you all right?" He set me down.

"I'm fine." I tell him, pet his snout when we heard LadyGaogamon yelped after we saw Beetlemon been tossed at her. "Guys!" The two of us made our way over to them. "You two okay?"

"We're fine," LadyGaogamon said, brushing her snout against me while I hug her.

"There has to be a way to stop him," The big wolf said, seeing BurningGreymon began to destroy the area.

"But, how?" Beetlemon asked.

"We can't hurt him, KendoGarurumon," I reminded him. Then, I remember the vision I had last night, of how Azurmon can't control herself while I buried my masked face against my girl's snout.

"Are you okay, my lady?" I heard her while I hear the group are trying to figure out to help our friend. Hearing Bokomon mentioning about leaving, which I'm not gonna do that.

"All right, if it's a fight you want, fight me." The two of us gasped when we heard the wolf.

"Don't look at me!" Beetlemon flew away while KendoGarurumon jumped in. I flew in and landed on the wolf's back, whacking him on the head with my staff.

"OW! What?" He growled.

"Are you insane?!" I snapped at him, but the Beast of Flame came in and charged at us while I held on with KendoGarurumon releasing his attack, but BurningGreymon manage to dodge and did a kick towards the wolf's head.

"I don't think so! Canis Beam!" I blasted my attack towards the phoenix's foot, hearing him cried out while the wolf began to run away. "Sorry, Takuya!" I called over, then look up front. "We need to get him away from the others or he'll end up hurting them, too." Beetlemon and LadyGaogamon came in while I held on KendoGarurumon.

Then, the four of us heard BurningGreymon release his Pyro Barrage and caused the forest to be on fire. Oh, great.

"LadyGaogamon, go with the others, hurry." I ordered her as she did while the boys and I figure out a plan.

"We have to do something before he levels the whole forest or the whole world." Beetle said while I flew in the air, trying not to get my wings burn.

"How in the world are we going to do that?" I asked my beetle teammate.

"I'll stop him." I heard the wolf, activating his wheels and sped away, using his blades to cut down some trees. I facepalmed.

"You're supposed to stop him, not help wreck the place!" Beetlemon called out, making his way over to our friend.

"Leave it to the idiots to come up with ideas." I muttered. Not until I notice Tommy isn't with the others, watching what's going on while I flew over to him. "Kiddo, go with LadyGaogamon and the others, please. This is too dangerous."

He look like he wants to fight it, but we heard couple of crashing when I look over and gasped at the sight.

The two boys were hit and been on the ground, with BurningGreymon pushing Beetlemon down with his foot.

"Takuya, don't! It's me!" Beetle cried out, seeing my friend's eyes began to change, but something's not letting him. "I can't believe this is how I'm gonna check out." I flew in.

"BurningGreymon, stop!" I yelled at him, seeing him lift his foot up and Beetlemon manage to get away while his angry red eyes landed on me.

"BurningGreymon, Takuya, please, fight it, buddy, we're your friends, we're not trying to hurt you. We wanna help you."

I remember Akane was telling me the day when she was with the new generation, she and the team, including Tai and Matt, were fighting off a kid called himself the Digimon Emperor and he somehow gotten Agumon for him to wear this Dark Ring for him to become MetalGreymon, under the Emperor's control while everyone in the team doesn't want to hurt him.

Even my cousin doesn't want to, but thanks to Davis and Veemon, who was Raidramon, the duo gave everyone a confident boost and helped out, especially Matt and Garurumon since the duo were also against it, but manage to save him, as well.

The half phoenix all of the sudden, growl softly while I landed in front of him, seeing him back away a bit. "No, no, don't be scared, I'm not gonna hurt you. I wanna help you, please. It's me, Ames, remember?"

I can sense KendoGarurumon is getting tense up by this while I held my hand up at him. "It's okay, he won't hurt me."

I look back at the phoenix and saw his eyes changed into a light blue color, making myself feel a bit relief. "That's it, buddy, remember who are your friends. I promise, we won't hurt you, just remember who you are and your friends, okay?"

All of the sudden, BurningGreymon went ahead and slowly leans his head towards me while I raise my hand, slowly, so he knows I won't use my attack on him. But, a familiar sensation came back, causing myself to whimper a bit.

"N-no, so close." That's when he let out a horrible cry, causing myself to cover my ears and I've been hit by his tail. "Ahhh!"

"Akitamon!" I was crashed into a tree, causing to collapsed and I've returned to my Amy self. Zoe and the two Digimon came in while I groaned.

"Amy, are you okay?" Neemon asked me while Zoe helped me up.

"Peachy." I groaned. "I was so close. He was-" My eyes widen at the sight of kiddo. "Tommy, what are you doing?!" He was running towards the Beast while he was pulling the wolf's tail, lifting him up and tossed him to the side.

"Takuya, stop!" Kiddo shouted.

"Kiddo!"

"Tommy!" Zoe called out while kiddo stood in front of the Beast.

"Please, you gotta stop this," He tell the Beast of Flame. "Fight it, Takuya. I know you don't wanna hurt any of us." If anyone can get through Takuya, it'll be Tommy. "This isn't really you. You're just out of control and afraid."

I held my hands together and place them on my heart, watching my little friend being so brave and calm, I sense Kumamon's spirit, even though he's not here with us, but his cool and chilliness sense down on my spine, feeling so calm and not so cold.

"Takuya, listen to him." LadyGaogamon is behind kiddo while KendoGarurumon and Beetlemon surrounded the duo.

"Yeah, come on, Taky, it's us." Beetle said. The half phoenix roared at them, telling them to back away.

"Don't you get it?" Tommy continue. "We're your friends, we're here to help you." I could've sworn BurningGreymon's eyes shone blue again, but it didn't last long as they went back to red as he reached out and grab kiddo, hearing everyone gasped in fear.

"Takuya, don't!" I called out, but Tommy isn't afraid.

"Don't you remember what happen?" Kiddo asked him. "I learned that true courage isn't paying bullies back, it's standing up to them. You helped me see that fighting back is just as bad as being a bully." He explained while I remember about what happened the other night, with Tapirmon using his attack on kiddo during the incident.

"You can't let fear control you, you have to fight it. I know you won't hurt me, if you remember we're friends." I heard Tommy sniffled, then I saw a tear drop onto BurningGreymon's eye, seeing it went back to blue, with the burning sensation disappear from my spine.

I watched the Beast set kiddo down, seeing him smile up at him while I ran over and lift kiddo up, hugging him with all my might.

"Kiddo, you were awesome!" I tell him, hearing him giggling and hugging me back. "I'm so proud of you." Not until all of us heard something ramming when we look and saw BurningGreymon was ramming his head against a boulder, hearing everyone gasp in shock.

"Takuya." I set kiddo down and I was about to head over to him while he let out a roar of pain after I jumped. Then, a familiar code appeared and saw my friend went back being himself, hearing him sobbing a bit while the sight made my heart sadden.

We're over by a pretty lake, Takuya being distance from us for a bit while the rest of us were gathered and I have my sweet girl in my arms, being Wanyamon again.

"How you feeling, Amy?" I heard JP when I look up at him and grin.

"I'm okay, how about yourself?" He shrugs and gave me a sheepish grin on his face. Then, I thought about earlier in the morning. "Hey, buddy, listen, I wanna apologize for the way I was acting towards you, I didn't mean any of it and for hurting your ear. I'm really sorry."

"It's okay, to be honest," He scratches the back of his neck, having a faint tint blush on his face. "I actually deserved it, now that I thought about it." I giggle a bit while he snicker. "I was just thinking ahead since Grumblemon still have Zoe's spirit, you know?" I nodded.

"I know, we all want to stop him and get it back for her, no worries, big guy." I held my fist up. "Truce?" He smiles a bit, then bump his fist onto mine.

"Ah, the trials of friendship," We heard Bokomon when the two of us look over at him and Takuya and Tommy came over. "Take note, you three," Mentioning me, JP and Zoe. "For when you get your Beast Spirits." My spine shivered at that when I look down at my new bracelet.

I've kept reminding myself about the dream that Akitamon showed me, but...can I control it? After what I saw, would I-no, stop it, Amami, you've made a promise to Akitamon, she told you don't let your primal side take over your heart.

"Thanks for the reminder," I heard Takuya, not realizing that he was by my side, seeing him scowl a bit at his D-tector.

"How are we even going to find Grumblemon, anyway?" Koji asked.

"Geez, it seems harder to avoid him than to find him," Takuya explained when he met my gaze. "I think we should just keep going. I bet we'll run into him, sooner or later." I nodded my head to agree.

"Sounds like a plan." I said, seeing him grin while I grin back at him and Wanyamon jumped onto his head.

"Sounds good to me, too." Zoe said when she appeared besides me, smiling as well.

"I know you want your spirit back, but how can running into Grumblemon sounds good?" JP asked while I laugh a bit, because of Zoe scowling at him. "That's the dumbest thing I ever heard."

"You better hope you get yours first, pal, 'cause I'm coming after you when I get mine." She said, hearing myself giggling while all of us began to walk, hearing the older boy muttering about the trials of friendship.

"Hey, Ames?" I look up at Takuya since he's walking next to me, seeing him look a bit upset. "I wanna say I'm sorry for attacking you." Seeing Wanyamon getting tense up, but I quickly grab her and calm her down. "You know that wasn't me, I was losing control and well..."

"Takuya, you don't have to apologize," I tell him, placing my hand on his shoulder while we stop. "I know that wasn't you, you didn't mean it, okay? Let's just forget about it and continue on on our journey in this crazy world, yeah?" He frowns a bit, but I did something that I never thought in my life I've never done before.

Especially on a boy I barely know. I gave him a sweet kiss on his cheek, seeing him blush a bit when I've met his gaze. I grinned, then walk ahead to catch up with the others. Then, it donned on me.

Why the hell did I do that?

"Because, you're beginning to like him." I heard Akitamon, hearing her giggling while I let out a soft growl.

"Stay out of my head, lady canine." I murmured, hearing her laughing.

The team and I are in a forest, being careful since the area is filled with random large roots, stuck up from underground.

"The book says the roots make the forest path treacherous," Bokomon explained with his book on his face. "Oh, that's ridicu-oh!" Not realizing he tripped over to the ground.

"Hey, check it out," JP said when we look what he's looking. "What's up with these roots?" Downhill are roots that are shape with squares, going down the line and at the bottom were four X's and only one O.

"Ooh, do those symbols stand for hugs and kisses?" My friend teased when all of the sudden, I sense someone nearby.

I look over and I saw something bright gold roam by. "What was that?"

I've decided to go check it out while the team went ahead and play the square game or something. If anything, Wanyamon can digivolve and help the team out for anything suspicious. Like me, for an example.

The forest gotten a bit dark, but with the sunlight still beaming down through the opening leaves while I look over for that bright gold figure that roam by. I look into the bushes, then looking up at the branches, being cover so many leaves.

"Hello? Is anyone here?" I called out, but nothing. I shake my head a bit and began to head back to the team when I heard a crash. "Huh?" I ran back and the crash is coming from below when I look and gasped at the sight.

"Grumblemon?!" The rest of the team were stuck in a mud with Takuya and Tommy not being in it and Takuya protecting kiddo. "The maze was a trap. That jerk!" I quickly pull out of my D-tector when out of nowhere, the bright gold blur appeared and attack my hand. "Ow!" Causing my D-tector to fall off. "No!"

I look over at the culprit and my eyes widen at the sight. It's a small golden Lion Digimon that has bright red short hair on its head and has bright blue eyes while its mouth has...

"Hey, give me back my D-tector!" I shouted at it while it began to run away with it! "Hey!" I went after it. "Come back here! I need it to help my friends!" No wonder I sense something from this cat, it has a holy ring around its neck.

Akane told me about it, because Gatomon was wearing one around her tail and CieloGarurumon has not one, but two on each of his ankles and they're silver, instead of gold.

The Holy Ring represents faith and hope. Faith is another word for Trust, since hello, Warrior of Trust here and my cousin was the Digidestined of Trust, so you can say I'm kinda like her protege, now that I thought about it.

Great, I lost sight of the cat after I've notice it disappear right in front of me. "Damn it, where you go?"

All of the sudden...

BONK!

"Ow! What the-" Something hit me on the head when I heard a clutter sound landed on the ground and saw it was..."My D-tector."

I quickly grab it, then look up at the branches, but the cat is nowhere to be seen. I can hear the fight gotten worse, so I quickly ran back to see if Takuya needs my help.

As soon I've made it back, I saw BurningGreymon appeared and flying to...a falling kiddo?!

"Tommy!" I called out after I landed besides the team, but I've felt relieved when BurningGreymon manage to catch him in time.

"Tommy, you okay?" I heard the Beast, seeing him look so calm and control.

"Yeah," I heard kiddo while I make my way over to the duo. "Hey, check it out, you got control of your Beast Spirit."

"Thanks to you, buddy." The beast said while I came in.

"We'll help the others, big guy," I tell the half phoenix when he look down at me and I smiled up at him. "You go stop that stupid annoying gnome beast." He nodded, then flew after the Beast of Earth after he flown in speed, causing the two of us to laugh while I held my bandana and kiddo his hat.

The two of us ran back to the team and Tommy manage to find a vine as he toss it over at everyone and Zoe was the one who got it, then everyone began to grab on while the two of us began to pull them out, one by one, with Koji being the last one while I help him out.

"Thanks." He said as I nodded.

"No problem." I said when all of us felt the ground shake, hearing the battle farther away. "Come on, BurningGreymon needs us." And we did as we follow where the battle is being held.

Once we got there, we saw Gigasmon is standing on a pillar with BurningGreymon out of the forest. Then, the Beast of Flame uses his attack called Wildfire Tsunami and Gigasmon was hit, revealing not one, but four spirits. Two belonged to my friends.

The half phoenix quickly grab Gigasmon's Beast Spirit and been downloaded to his D-tector. Then, he reaches for Tommy's spirit.

"Here you go, buddy," He called out after he grabbed it and toss it over to kiddo. "Got a little present for ya." Feeling the same presence from the little bear as the Spirit went back into Tommy's D-tector.

"Hey, my Spirit," He laughed, holding up in the air. "Yeah, this is better than birthday and Christmas combine!" I giggled a bit since he's so happy. Not until I've felt a familiar gentle breeze from Kazemon.

"BurningGreymon, Grumblemon, look!" I called out, seeing the Beast look over and saw the stupid gnome went back to normal and began to leave.

"Me leave while behind." Seeing the stupid gnome dig to the ground while BurningGreymon charged at him, but it was too late.

"No, he still has my spirit," I heard Zoe sadly while I pull her into a side bear hug.

The sun had set few hours ago and all of us were already leaving the forest area after what happened. With me, I couldn't help, but wonder about the cat, who taken my D-tector away from me during the whole thing with Takuya and Grumblemon.

"Hey, Ames, where you go, anyway?" Speak of the devil.

"I was curious about the forest behind us," I tell him, then I look down at Bokomon. Maybe he knows something. "Hey, Bokomon, in your book, is a information about a small lion cub Digimon with a Holy Ring around its neck?" He went ahead dig into his band and pull out his book, flipping the pages. Been that way for at least a minute.

"I'm afraid not, Amy," He said. "Why you ask, if you don't mind me asking?" I shake my head a bit.

"Just curious." I fix my glasses, ignoring the pain I'm getting from the small bump. "Let's keep going to the Forest Terminal, everybody."
