Smoke of allegiance chapter 10

Looking up from the bed that Arden had just fallen into what seemed like a minute before and with a pounding head she slowly rolled over and letting out a groan of pain as the alarm clock she blindly fumbled and knocked the alarm clock off the dresser as Yura walked in a flipped off the alarm getting Arden groggily mumbling
"Thank you now that damned ringing stops and maybe the pounding will stop at least I hope" and as Yura slid her arms under Arden's and helped her walk to the showers she asked quietly not knowing who all could be listening like they were planning evil
"So how many beers did you have least night and babe no need to lie because I can see that it is affecting you big time" and all the dead weight in yura's arms could mumble was
"3 and a shot and less drink more fun afterwards" and Yura looked a little shocked and said
"Fun without me this I have to hear and if I don't like it I'll leave your half dressed as in the hallway and walk back to our room" and Arden said with all the pain and lack of a decent night's sleep from the last few days really taking its toll on her
"Bar fight and a little game of catch me if you can with this boy I know and the cops" and as she was lowered into the sauna before they showered to try and get Arden to look less like the wild child she felt like and more like the respectable girl that Yura had fallen in love with and sliding back into the warm water and she slowly closed her eyes before saying with all the feeling she could muster as even talking hurt
"Damn this feels nice and the song I don't have to be me till Monday doesn't mean that I should do that cause I'm feeling the effects" and Yura had to put her hand over her mouth and tried not to laugh to loudly and as she got dressed and helped Arden out and into the shower Yura asked mischievously
"Sono-chan is like your nii-chan right?" and as Arden replied with a groggy response
"Yeah what the hell is your point?" and Yura snickered and said just like a kid who had found that their sibling had the secret of a lifetime
"Oh nothing just the video of your drunk ass trying to play stripper last night before you fell into bed and even the naked drunk selfies you took the other night I wonder if she would love to see them" and as Arden had finally regained consciousness and coherence she yelled running for her phone
"Oh my god you wouldn't dare do that because I wonder what she would think of me and she would even probably never speak to me again!" and Arden ran toward the phone ignoring the fact she was naked and soaking wet only for that fact to come by and bite her in the ass as she slipped and hit her head knocking her out and as Yura helped drag her roommate to the nurses office Yura then found out she had the day off from class and walked back to her room and as she broke out Spec ops the line she mumbled and sent a text to Sonora from Arden's phone
"War never changes no matter how bad we want it to and I worry about you and even the farm that Arden has" and as she hit send Yura's phone went off and it was Rento saying
"Hey do you think you'll want to have a match soon and I think Sonora maybe coming back to visit us soon and the new recruits want to be on your team because apparently they really like you" and Yura thumbed back a message saying
"Hell yeah I'm in and then I'll need to go out and buy a gift for Arden as she is in the hospital and I feel like it's my fault" only for the message to come across in all caps
"NO YOU ARE NOT GOING DOWN THAT ROAD AGAIN BECAUSE WE ALMOST LOST YOU WITH SONO-CHAN AND IF WE LOSE YOU AGAIN I'M SCARED WE WILL LOSE YOU FOR GOOD" and Yura said
"Relax Arden fell and hurt herself and I may have been teasing her but I won't leave because even Rin said that I have to stay with someone I love and I even heard she told Arden the same thing so I ain't leaving don't worry" before grabbing her beret again just like old times for her and then yelled swinging out a punch at nothing as Karilia walked in and heard
"Damn it you turned us into fucking killers man!" and as the fist was aimed at the opening door Karilia grabbed her wrist and slammed her to the ground and said
"Okay you have either gone nuts which then no playing with us till you get your head sewn on straight or you have played to many video games in which case you are coming out to play with us no questions" and Yura grabbed her stuff and saw Sonora sent her a text saying
"I miss you and Arden and I found a picture of me and her and one of you and her but we need one for the three of us next time I'm there deal?" and Yura thumbed out
"Deal and I'm going to show the team why I am your protégé so talk to you later big sister" before she ran out packing her usual scorpion SMG ready to have a good time.
