Chapter 10: Komui's Interview

(The next day at 2:00 PM Catelyn entered the lab looking for Komui. Today she is wearing a blue and purple dress, with black shoes.)

Catelyn: Em… hi, I'm looking for Supervisor Komui Lee

Reever: he is in his office, over there (pointing to a door on top)

Catelyn: thanks (smiles and walks away, she knocks the door and then the door is opened revealing the Chinese man with his coffee cup with a pink bunny)

Komui: oh! Catelyn nice to see you, thanks for coming

Catelyn: Nice to see you too, are you ready?

Komui: sure, please come in.

(Komui and Catelyn entered Komui's office)

Johnny: She looks like a very nice person

Reever: Well… appearances lie.

Johnny: what do you mean?

Reever: Lenalee told me she was very mean to all of them, as a result all the exorcists hate her.

Johnny: I see, I guess we'll have to wait to see how things go for the Chief

Reever: guess you're right.

(Now with Komui and Catelyn)

Catelyn: so Komui, what did the exorcists told you about yesterday's interviews?

Komui: are you sure that you want to hear it?

Catelyn: yes, I am.

Komui: …they hate you.

Catelyn: why? I'm a wonderful person.

Komui: they don't like you, neither trust you… and to be honest neither do I.

Catelyn: I imagined that.

Komui: why did you told them such horrible things?

Catelyn: I only told them the truth (she said innocently)

Komui: no, you made them feel guilty for things that they couldn't control (he was getting mad)

Catelyn: (looks away) we should start with the interview

Komui: fine.

Catelyn: so tell me, since you are the Head Chief, do you have complete authority over the European branch?

Komui: yes.

Catelyn: so you can basically order the exorcists, the finders and the scientists whatever you want?

Komui: yes.

Catelyn: and what happens if they disobeyed you?

Komui: they might get a punishment

Catelyn: I see. And will you have a punishment too?

Komui: yes.

Catelyn: how did you felt when they took Lenalee to the Black Order?

Komui: sad

Catelyn: is that the reason why you are so protective of her?

Komui: yeah, she is my only family

Catelyn: that's why you call all the boys octopuses.

Komui: who told you that?

Catelyn: you don't remember yesterday Reever mentioned it.

Komui: oh yes.

Catelyn: so the only job you is assign missions and build the famous Komurins.

Komui: Actually no, I also help the other scientists.

Catelyn: okay…. Then we had finish the interview, thank you Komui

Komui: no problem.

(A big crash is heard somewhere else)

Catelyn: what was that?

Komui: Oh… it can't be…

Catelyn: what?

Cross: leave me alone or I'll shoot you bastards!

Komui: well… General Marian Cross was brought here for the reunion between Generals and the other Head Chiefs.

Catelyn: oh, okay.

Komui: he'll have to stay for the night, but I don't know how we are going to keep him here

Catelyn: so… do you mind if I interview him

Komui: well I don't mind, but you'll have to ask him

Catelyn: but I don't know him, could you please do it for me

Komui: Em.. okay… General Cross would you mind if someone makes you an interview?

Cross: What?! (he thinks about it for some minutes) Fine but you better have sake in the damn reunion

Cross : who is the reporter?

Catelyn: it's me (he steps forward) Nice to meet you General Cross.
