"Lyra, wake up," I said. Lyra did not respond. It has been an hour since she fainted. Lyra's breathing was fine and she was not the slightest bit pale. Lyra was asleep. The only reason why I wanted to wake her up was the urgency of the situation. "WAKE UP," I screamed.
"But I don't want to go to school mom," Lyra said with her eyes shut. Lyra opened her eyes. "What happened and why am I in a small dark room," Lyra asked. Lyra paused. "And who are you," she asked.
I absolutely could not believe Lyra had amnesia! Why did it have to happen right in the middle of an important mission?! I couldn't stop Team Rocket and take care of Lyra at the same time.
"I'm Suzy," I said. "While jumping out of a crashing blimp we got surrounded by Team Rocket members. It scared you so much that you fainted," I said. I tried to be as friendly as I could. Lyra's amnesia was annoying but I didn't want to make her condition any worse. "Lyra, we're trapped in a truck by Team Rocket," I said trying not to get her to panic. I really didn't know how to tell her that we were trapped so I said it directly. It probably wasn't a good idea because Lyra jumped up and started to shake.
"WE'RE TRAPPED?!" Lyra screamed.
"Yes. Do you have any idea how to get us out," I asked.
"I really wish I had a pokemon. It would really help at a time like this. I bet a fighting type move like jump kick would be able to break the doors open," Lyra said unaware that she had pokemon.
"Why didn't I think of that," I exclaimed. It was so obvious. "Loupunny, do you still know how to use jump kick," I asked. Loupunny nodded to say yes. "Good. Use jump kick to break the doors open," I said. When Loupunny used jump kick it reminded me how powerful she was. The doors fell off the truck.
"Now that that's done, how do we get out without a severe injury," Lyra asked.
"Grab one of Loupunny's front paws so we can jump out together. Loupunny is a great jumper so she'll make sure we have a soft landing," I said. That plan wasn't necessary because right after I told Lyra the plan the truck stopped. The grunts probably heard the doors fall off the truck. Why couldn't the grunts be gullible like they were the last time?
"Let's just make a run for it before Team Rocket catches us," I said. Before Lyra could say anything me and Loupunny grabbed her hands, jumped out and started to run.
"Who are Team Rocket and why are we running away from them," Lyra asked. She probably forgot all about anything long before her journey. The grunts definitely heard us because they tried to trick Lyra.
"We are the good guys. Suzy is an evil woman who wants to rule the world," a grunt lied. I don't know how Lyra could even listen to that junk. Lyra was also trapped in the truck. She had the logic of a little kid! 10 years old is young but Lyra was acting much younger.
"Don't listen to them Lyra! They are trying to trick you," I screamed. This is the first time I ever cared about Lyra and I don't know why I did. I never really liked her that much but I suddenly wanted to make sure she was safe. It suddenly felt like she was my sister but it was probably my anxiety getting the best of me.
"Don't listen to her! She's evil," the grunt lied. Lyra broke free.
"I'm not going to blindly agree with any of you," Lyra exclaimed.
"Lyra, you have to listen to me. Team Rocket are trying to kidnap you," I said.
"For all I know both of you could be lying," Lyra exclaimed.
"Lyra, you have to come with us. We need you to save the world," the grunt lied. His lies seemed to get more ridiculous by the minute.
"Well, I guess I come if I'm saving the world," Lyra said gullibly believing Team Rocket.
"WHAT," I screamed. I tried to stop Lyra from going with Team Rocket but a grunt grabbed me. I broke free but I hit Lyra's head in the process. She instantly fainted.
"Thanks for doing our work for us," the grunt said. The grunt started to take Lyra away. I tried to follow him but another grunt stopped me.
"We're only giving you one chance. Don't interfere with our plans or else. Now go run along before another grunt finds you," he said. This wasn't over yet. As I walked away I befriended a koffing, murkow, grimer and ditto and came up with a plan.
