"Do you want your wings with honey or without honey?" Voyd asked as she took the wings off the grill and placed them on a plate
"With honey please" Dash said as he lightly tickled Jack-Jack to which Jack-Jack laughed uncontrollably.
Voyd walked over and placed the plate of wings on the table to which Dash munched on them hungrily.
"This is really good!" He exclaimed as he held a wing up in the air and ate it slowly.
Voyd laughed as she ate one herself, she had to admit it tasted really good and Voyd found herself eating more and more.
The trio laughed and joked around whilst sitting by the barbecue before they went in to shower and clean themselves off.
Dash then went down to the garage and grabbed one of the 2 DIY flame canisters he made. He didn't intend to kill anyone with them but he intended to use it to scare enemies away. Ever since he had noticed the foot prints and the cigarette butt, Dash had become a bit paranoid.
Even though Voyd had informed him time and time again that no one would hurt Jack-Jack and him without having to go through her first. That was sweet at her and Dash blushed a little thinking of how much she cared for the 2 of them. Voyd was now the 4th most compassionate person with 1st to 3rd place belonging to Mum,Dad and Lucius.
To think that someone would actually want them dead shocked Dash a little bit. Although he had thought and "killed" bad people before,he was still a bit too young to be exposed to this sort of stuff.
Voyd was reading a book called "When life gives you lemons" It was supposed to be some short stories on how to deal with life.
Dash stood with the canister in his hand as he just stared at Voyd's fit athletic figure,he drooled slightly but immediately regain his focus and sat down next to her.
"Voyd are you scared that bad guys will come kill us?" He asked as his big blue eyes had small hints of fear in them.
There was silence in the room before Voyd finally spoke
"I'm not that scared but I do care about Jack-Jack and your safety" she said sounding like a mother educating her son.
Dash smiled at her before getting up to place a blanket over Jack-Jack who due to the security problem had been moved to their guest room where the 3 slept together.
"Ironic isn't it ehh." Voyd said looking up from her book, "We're supers who are supposed to protect people yet we are scared ourselves." She exclaimed
Although she was an adult being of age 16, Dash being the 11 year old could sense that she was worried. Maybe it was the way she spoke or how she looked around the room every now and then.
Dash was just happy that she cared about him, he decided that when he was considered an adult (Which by the way is age 16) he would highly consider marrying Voyd to be his wife….that is if everyone was ok with it and he didn't find a better woman than her.
Voyd meant a lot to him, ever since she admitted her feelings to him in that pool during the sunset, he had questioned his relationship with her.
"Dash, are you ok?" came Voyd's angelic voice from the bed.
Dash said nothing and simply sat down on the bed. He then buried his way next to Voyd and held onto her arm tightly
"Dash what's wrong?" Voyd asked with hints of worriedness in her voice.
"I'm just….really afraid…." Dash finally said after awhile of clinging onto her
"Afraid of what?" Voyd asked curiously.
"I don't want anything to be broken or anyone to get hurt if there is a break in" Dash explained as he looked at her.
Time seemed to stop and the 2 stared into each other's eyes for a long time.
After the long and slightly awkward pause, Voyd finally pulled Dash in for another hug. This hug was different though, it was the kind of a hug a wife would give to her husband after he came back from war alive.
The 2 eventually fell asleep in each other's arm whilst inhaling each other's scent. They were so happy together….if it weren't for what was going outside
A hissing sound flew through the windows and Voyd immediately shot up from bed, she looked at the digital bed side clock besides her
3:30 AM
"I wonder what that sound was?" Voyd thought to herself as she slipped on a hoodie to cover some skin
She left the room and looked out the window to see a bunch of muscular men who were holding knives and baseball bats, the men were currently deflating the tires to her convertible
"Oh crap crap crap! This is what Dash warned me about!" Voyd thought to herself as she silently but quickly ran back into the room and locked the door.
Dash was already awake at this point as he presumably heard the noise as well
"Voyd?...what's going on…why are you….in your supersuit" Dash asked as he rubbed his eyes gently
"We got company!" Voyd whispered as she handed him his classic red and black super suit as well as Jack-Jack's.
Dash dressed in a matter of seconds and proceeded to help Jack-Jack with his. In a matter of 2 minutes, the trio had their suits and goggles on.
Dash was trembling with excitement and fear at the same time. Part of him really enjoyed the fact he could finally do some hero work but part of him was also worried sick that he might get hurt.
The trio tiptoed to the top of the stairs with Dash covering Jack-Jack's mouth gently. Jack-Jack meanwhile was still oblivious to what was going on and kept poking Dash gently on the cheek
The main door opened silently and about a dozen men came in holding various weapons.
"Kill the boy and baby, bring me the girl alive" Voyd heard one of them say as she clenched her fist and looked at Dash who looked back at her and nodded.
Dash grabbed the phone and dialled 911 quickly. After speaking silently with the operator, he told him that they would deal with the situation but to still come in case.
Voyd opened a large portal for 3 of them to jump into before spawning the portal down into the living room.
The 3 exited with the blue and green portal attracting the unwanted attention from the dozen men in the room.
"THAT'S THEM! BRING ME THE GIRL ALIVE!" one of them screamed as the men quickly spawned in action.
Voyd opened a small portal in front of the 3 men that came charging at her and spawned it into the swimming pool. The 3 men fell into the pool with a massive splash and Dash locked the door connecting the pool to the house. The remaining men focused their attention on Voyd as she scrambled to reposition herself.
Dash ran towards one of the men and winked at Voyd who nodded and spawned a portal in front of Dash and opened it on top of the men.
Dash appeared on top of 1 of the guys and began to punch him on the head several times. The man then reached up to try and grab Dash but Dash had dropped down and began to run circles round the man going faster and faster each time. The man eventually got dizzy and fell to the floor lying motionless.
The other 2 men raised their weapons and charged at Voyd baring their teeth and making animal like noises.
Voyd shrieked and spawned a portal in front of both men and spawned another 1 behind as they striked meaning that they would end up hitting themselves as their own weapons came out through the other end of the portal
Voyd panted slightly as she looked around for Dash who was currently holding a very active Jack-Jack. The trio heard a whirring noise outside and realized that the 3 men they had thrown into the pool were currently trying to escape via some sort of weird jetpack thing.
Voyd tried opening a portal but was stopped by Dash who held Jack-Jack in his arms and positioned him in the direction of the men
"Laser eyes Jack-Jack!" Dash exclaimed as beams of high frequency rays began emitting from Jack-Jack like anti-aircraft guns.
Jack-Jack fired his lasers off at the men who were even more freaked out this point all whilst Dash made a "Pew Pew" noise to imitate the lasers.
The jet pack was eventually hit and as the men came tumbling out of the sky, Voyd spawned an opening portal for them to fall into and an exit portal right in front of them to ensure they didn't die.
Police showed up in no time and the cops thanked Dash and Voyd for their service. The cuffed the men and sent an ambulance for most of them. All 12 of them gave Dash and Voyd the most evil eyes as they were taken away.
The trio watched as the screaming red and blue nights echoed off into the night sky before Dash turned to Voyd who was now holding the sleeping Jack-Jack in her arms.
"THAT WAS AWESOME! Dash exclaimed as he jumped up and down in excitement
"Did you see how I punched that guy so many times in the face…..It was just…..AHH I FEEL SO HAPPY!" He cheered as he jumped up and down clapping his hands together
Voyd chuckled cutely and patted his soft blonde hair as he stopped jumping.
"I'm really tired now." Dash whined all of a sudden as he yawned
Voyd too yawned as well as she looked at her watch and realized it was close to 5 AM now
"Let's just shower and go back to sleep honey" she said sweetly as she turned around to walk back pushing her beautiful limegreen and blue hair out of her even more beautiful face.
"Do you want as to shower together or separately?" Dash asked curiously as he looked at her
"Do you want to shower with me?" Voyd asked whilst biting her lip ever so slightly
"Uhhh sure I guess?" Dash said slightly worried. Part of him knew that he wasn't supposed to look at naked women but part of him thought that Voyd just wanted an innocent shower
"Then follow me honey." Voyd said as she strutted up the stairs
Lmao guys that's another 1 done, there may be a change in rating later on down the road. Apollogies for not fixing this earlier. Voyd is actually 16 not 19 lol and you shall see why when I decided to change it further down these chapters.
