OK, so, I COMPLETELY forgot to put in the translation for the Spanish phrase Cecilia said, so I exported chapter 9 and made the change. But I didn't notice the "edit/update chapter" option so it re-posted it as a whole new chapter. So sorry for the false alarm people.

I can't believe this story is halfway over! *cries* :'( But do not worry! I have created a poll on my profile so you guys can choose my next story. Just go give my profile a look and check out the descriptions for the stories, then vote! The poll will be open for voting until the end of this story, so hurry! I'm also still looking for a new summary, so I need those too. You can PM me those, of put then in a review if you don't have an account.

I also have exciting news! I won the Christmas OC contest that Minao Tskino put on! One of the prizes was a picture of the OC and it was posted on her Deviantart account. If you would like to take a look, do this:

Go to deviantart dot com slash deathnotfan35 (No spaces though and no words, the actual symbol)

You should now be at her profile. The work is titled 'Every Angel Has A Dark Side' and, as of recently, her newest deviation.

Now, on with the story! I do have a POV change in here I think you guys will like. ;)

Disclaimer: I don't own Teen Titans, but I do own Cecilia and Duo! Don't own nuthn' else either.

Chapter 10: Bots and Late-Night Sessions

The Titans were in the middle of their 5th battle with Slade bots in the last 2 months. And they were all tired of them. Slade would wait until there was a lull in activity, then strike in the most random places. They seemed to have no meaning, but Robin was slipping deeper and deeper into his 'little world' that he would lock himself in when Slade stuff happened. He'd go into his office (or the "Bird Cave" as Cecilia now called it, in reference to his time with Batman) and not come out. Raven, who was a light sleeper, had told the others that Robin hasn't even gone back to his room most nights to sleep. "When he does", she said, "It's like, 4 or 5 o'clock in the morning".

He barely ate, drinking coffee 24/7 and had missed game night AND Cyborg's spaghetti with triple meat sauce. Stafire was constantly worried, and she was the only one who could go into the Cave without being sent away, except up until recently. Even Cecilia had to fight her way into his office for sessions, and by the 2nd week, she too was kicked out and not welcomed back. If he wasn't in the Cave, he was training. And then he would go and unnecessarily compensate for the others during battle. And this one was no different. Robin, slicing away at the bots while the others avoided getting in his way.

Robin was crouched in a fighting position, surrounded by sparking and bliping Slade bots. The others were spread out in the general area. Cecilia was leaning against Duo, examining her nails. "Next time, someone remind me to bring a deck of cards so we can keep busy." She glanced at Robin as he stood up, and she mounted Duo. Duo walked over and they all gathered in front of Robin.

"You're taking this whole Slade thing way to seriously, man." Cyborg said.

"It's not good for your health." Raven said from under her hood.

"Yeah, remember what happened last time? Don't over obsess." Beast Boy added.

This put Robin over the edge in his scrambled state of mind. "Are you kidding me?! I have to take this seriously! IT'S MY JOB. You guys need to take things more seriously! It's your job too!" He yelled, blowing everyone's hair back.

"OK, that's it. I'm locking you out of your office." Cecilia said. In one swift motion, she dismounted, reached for the pouch in Robin's belt that held the keys to his office and jumped back on Duo.

"Hey! Give those back!" The others jumped out of the way as Robin lunged for Cecilia, and she expertly moved Duo a step to the side and Robin landed on the ground in a horrible belly flop.

"You're sick Robin. It's for your own good." Cecilia led the way to Titans Tower. As soon as they got there, she ran to Robin's office and locked the door, then hid the keys in her bookcase. "Go take a shower; I don't want to know the last time you took one. Then go to your room and Starfire will bring you dinner. If you're good, I might just make you some chocolate chip ginger cookies. Now shoo."

Robin stomped out of the kitchen and down the hall towards his room.

"Do we have some Campbell's soup?" Cecilia asked.

"Since when did you become a nurse?" Cyborg asked back.

"Just show me the soup and don't be sassy about it."

TtTtTtTt

After the rest of the Titans had their dinner, Cecilia made her chocolate chip ginger cookies that were egg-less, much to Beast Boy's delight, and Starfire heated up Robin's soup.

"Will he be better soon?" Starfire asked, watching the microwave.

"Yeah." Raven said. "He just needs rest and sustenance. And time away from work."

"Does he do this...often?" Cecilia asked, pulling the cookies out of the oven to cool.

"Whenever Slade has this little arc of attacks, Robin goes berserk trying to find logic in them. Most of the time, he just does it to make Robin go insane."

"He's done this before?"

"Yeah. Raven had to go into his mind one time. But it turned out he'd breathed in some weird dust stuff and have visions." Beast Boy said. Raven nodded from behind Specials, the third book after Uglies.

Duo slowly bent his neck around in an attempt to get a cookie. Cecilia swatted his muzzle. "No! They aren't cool yet. Just chill." She put some on a plate and handed them to Starfire who placed them on the tray she was taking to Robin. "He better eat that whole bowl. Unless he wants a angry devil at his door dumping it down his throat."

Starfire looked horrified. "Just make sure he eats is all." Cyborg said, then added: "It's a figure of speech." Starfire seemed to accept this as an answer and left to Robin's room.

"I think she's torn." Cecilia said, sitting on the counter next to the stove, facing the bar.

"What?" Beast Boy asked.

"She's torn between us-being on our side and making Robin not work-or taking Robin's side." She stared at the doorway where Starfire had left from. "What do you think, Rae?"

"It's Raven," Raven started, closing her book. "And I think you're right. Didn't you guys notice she's not as talkative? She only speaks when spoken too."

"Oh yeah...I have noticed that. She also hasn't made any of her alien food recently." Cyborg noted.

"I hope Robin gets better soon, for everyone's sake." Cecilia said, still staring at the door.

(Starfire's POV)

Friend Cecilia put a few of her delicious smelling cookies onto a plate and handed it to me. I placed it on the tray I was to bring Robin. Oh, Robin. I was very worried about his well-being. He has not been coming out of his office for many weeks, and sometimes I forget he is even here, and Cecilia or Cyborg has to stand in as leader. I am so afraid of forgetting him that I excuse myself and rush to his office. The others have told me that I am the only one who he allows into his office now, but even I am beginning to feel un-welcome.

The night that Cecilia insisted we 'go out' and we danced, I thought that things were becoming...different between us. For the better. But then when Slade came and began his attacks, I lost that feeling. I have been very sad. 'Depressed' Raven might call it. I do not talk as much and have not felt inclined to make the dishes of my home planet. I have tried talking to Silkie, but soon he just gurgles and wishes to be fed. Duo is a good listener, but he cannot converse back. But it is nice to know that he listens and will let me pet him or lean on him if I want to.

I hear friend Cecilia say something about 'dumping something down Robin's throat' and immediately become fearful for him. Cyborg tells me it is just a figure of the human language and I quickly dismiss it. Understanding Cecilia's sayings are the least of my worries at the present and I leave for Robin's room.

His door is ajar, and I peak around the corner to make sure I am not intruding. He is is in his clothes just for sleeping (I have never understood the need for a special outfit just to sleep in) and is curled up in his bed, his mask still in place as he sleeps. I fly slowly into the room as not to wake him, and place the tray on his floor as I quietly make a space for it on his desk. It is best to let him get his much needed rest, he can eat when he awakens. I hover beside him with my legs crossed and watch him. He looks so peaceful and young when he is asleep, like all of his worries have been washed away. I watch him for several minutes, observing the shape of his face and his hair, then I leave. I go to my room after telling the others a quick goodnight. I hope for Robin's quick recovery as I get ready for bed, tuck Silkie in, and go to bed myself, staring out my window. I know I will not sleep, and by the early morning I usually find myself up on the roof.

(Back to normal POV)

Robin walked down the hall to the kitchen. He'd woken up about 30 minutes ago at 12:30, and found his cold soup. Probably from Starfire. He'd snuck into Cecilia's room and found the keys to his office near the lock box that held his papers. He'd used his microwave to warm it back up and downed the whole thing pretty quickly, then sought out the kitchen. He walked in and was surprised to see Cecilia sitting on the couch in her pajamas- A white tank top under a white zip up hoodie and white lounge pants- with her white Beats headphones on, scrolling through something on her iPod. He put his hands in the pockets of his sweatpants and walked over to the couch. Cecilia didn't notice him.

"Cecilia?"

Cecilia jumped, falling off the couch and crawling backwards. When she saw it was just Robin, she flopped back onto the floor, pulling her headphones off her ears, breathing heavily. She put a to her face.

"Oh God, don't do that! Jeezu! Can't a girl listen to her Skrillex album in peace with out being bombarded by insomniacs? You scared the crap outta me." She pulled herself back onto the couch, crossing her legs.

"You listen to dubstep?" Robin asked, surprised as he sat across from her.

"Oh yeah. I was just looking through iFunny, then I was going to watch Wander Over Yonder." She said, pausing her music. "Hey, why are you up?"

"I was hungry. I ate all the soup and the cookies though."

"OK, good reason. Wasn't the soup cold though?"

"I used the microwave in my office."

"How the heck did you get in there?! I locked the dang thing!"

"C'mon." Robin said coyly, rolling his eyes. "Next to the lock box? Not that creative."

Cecilia humphed. "Well, you aren't supposed to just go in my room." There was a long pause. "You know she's depressed, right?"

"What? Who?"

"Starfire, you dummy. You've been locked away in your Bird Cave for the last month and a half and she can't talk to you because you deny everyone access. Including your counselor who is very pissed off because you've missed, like, 15 sessions and are behind."

"It's been that long? And people are calling it the Bird cave now? Ugh."

"One:Yes, it has been that long, two:I dubbed it the Bird Cave, and three:Stop complaining. You were doing really good after the outing I insisted we take, then you go completely wack and cut off communication. You missed freaking game night for goodness sake. So, as your amazing counselor and good friend, I am here to bring you out of the pit and start having a life again."

Robin sat there for a moment. "But it's my job. I have too."

"From what I've heard, and what I know, this is a random attack sequence. Slade knew you'd go into obsessed mode and just want to mess with you. You need to step back-like you're doing right now, which is good-and envision yourself not doing it anymore. If you think it, it becomes easier to do."

"..."

"Like now. Be like you are now 24/7 and you should be well on your way to getting better."

"Is she really depressed?"

Cecilia put her head in her hands, and peaked out at him from between her fingers. She sat back up with a huge sigh. "God, boys are slow. You're like Internet Explorer. Of course she's depressed! You honestly think that the girl who likes you would not be depressed that you no longer sleep, eat, or talk to anyone? Give me a friggen' break and try to keep up."

That got Robin mad. "Don't yell at me. I'm the leader and I do what I want. I wasn't totally gone! I was still here! Stop acting like I left you all!"

"Oh, really? Were was our leader when there were disputes to stop in the kitchen so we didn't end up with only half a Tower? I was there. Who was there to oversee training? Cyborg was there. Who was there to try and cheer Starfire up? Raven and Duo and Beast Boy. Who was there to try and bring a boy who was sick out of his little hole and get better? Starfire was there. Hey, don't see the name Robin anywhere on that list. You know why? He was gone." Cecilia had started leaning over the coffee table, getting in Robin's face with every word.

Robin stared at her as she sat back down on her side of the couch with her arms crossed, and though about what she just said. Was he really gone? Gone for the last month and a half? He'd let Starfire in at the beginning, he remembered that. But he couldn't remember the rest.

Then It hit him like a wave, small snapshots. Starfire offering him food, her eyes, hugs as he 'promised' to go to bed, then "not now Stafire, I'm busy...", telling her no, she wasn't allowed in, her sobs from outside the door, and then nothing again.

"Oh no. I really did leave."

"Like heck you did."

More dots. "What do I need to do?"

A grin spread across Cecilia's face "Much better. See? Never ague with girls." A look of seriousness took over her face. "Tomorrow, you need to tell her you're sorry." She paused. "No today. It's like 1:30, and she's always up thinking about you. Roof. Now. I'll be down here watching Wonder Over Yonder, if you need to see me after."

Robin nodded. "Anything in particular I need to mention?"

Cecilia let out a short laugh, rolling her eyes and going back to her iPod, putting her headphones on again. "Pfft, just make it count. It's gotta make up for your 15 lost sessions, remember." He was almost out the door when she spoke again, pointing at him. "Hey, you already screwed up once. Don't do it again." She raised her eyebrows as if to say "OK?".

"I won't."

TtTtTtTt

Robin walked up to the roof's access door. Knock or no knock? He decided no knock and slowly opened to door, stepping around it, and closing it gently. As Cecilia suspected, she sat at the edge of the roof with her deep-in-thought look as she stared out across the bay.

"I'm sorry."

Her head whipped around and she looked flustered and confused. "Robin! Oh! I-you- you are up!" She twisted her hair around her finger. "I thought... that you would be asleep..."

Robin sat down next to her, and she turned away. "Starfire, I'm sorry I left."

She let out a small sniff. "You didn't just leave me Robin, you left us all."

On an impulse decision, he scooted closed to her an pulled her into a hug. "I know. It was just...you know...I do that sometimes when-"

He was cut off when Starfire cut off his words with her hug. "You will not leave again, will you?" She said, looking up.

"No. I promise. Can we go inside? It's pretty cold out here."

Starfire smiled. "Yes. You will go back to bed and gain more rest."

Robin let out a small laugh. "OK, nurse Stafire"

*evil laugh* I am STILL making you wait for them to get together! Hee hee. But I'm not giving you guys bad cliff hangers XD.

Here's the significance of Wander Over Yonder:

WoY is a cartoon on Disney that is about a guy named Wander and his steed, Sylvia. They kinda remind me of Cecilia and Duo in a way.

You can thank my B %$# of a English teacher for all the homework I had so I couldn't write. And I wrote like half of this in the dark so there might be a few mistakes here and there that I missed. Sorry!
