Neji:-sighs- You get distracted so easily. Me: And? I love the show. But I shall work to finish this. Neji: Good. Tsunade: Someone want to explain why Sasuke Uchiha is in my hospital, in critical condition? Me: Nope! –Smiles- Tsunade:-facepalms- Neji: Ninja-chan, the chapter. Me: Oh crap! Yeah, here's the next chapter. R&R please! Tsunade: I need a drink. –Walks away- Me: I want some too~! –follows after her- Neji: Ninja-chan, no! –Runs after me-
-With Akatsuki-
"So let me get this straight." Pein said, looking at Itachi, who was standing in front of him; with a tiny pink-haired child, clutching his cloak in her hand and hiding behind the Uchiha, "I send you on a mission, to deliver the treaty, between Konoha and Akatsuki; and you bring back a child."
"To be fair, I brought back the Hokage's apprentice and my foolish brother's teammate." Itachi stated, making the leader's glare harden and Sakura hid behind him even more.
"As a child." You do realize that the Hokage might go on a rampage, right?"
"Don't worry, I left a note with Sasuke, saying that I'll bring her back." Pein had a great urge to slam his head against his desk, but fought against it.
"And what, pray tell, made you decide to bring a child to Akatsuki?" He asked, hoping that there was a logical explanation to the situation. Unfortunately, all he got was a smile, from Itachi as he kneeled down and patted the quiet girl on her head; which caused her to giggle in return.
"She's just so adorable, I couldn't help it." The older Uchiha stated and the urge became greater and Pein slammed his head into the desk. A sudden giggle made him look up and he noticed that Sakura walked up to his desk and smiled at him.
"Aniki's friend is funny." She said, "I hope we can be friends too." For the first time, in so long, Pein thought something was so adorable and he couldn't help but smile back at her.
"I guess she can stay." He said, reaching over the desk and held his hand out; to which she happily grabbed and shook it, "But, you have to watch her and make sure nothing happens. Especially around Zetsu."
'It's like she has a spell on him.' Itachi thought, nodding at the leader, who was chuckling at the little girl; who looked like she was a little trouble seeing over the desk.
"Sakura, come on, Pein-sama has some paperwork to do." He said, making Pein give him a look, as if to say 'How dare you interrupt my fun, with work', but he didn't care.
"Aww, ok Aniki!" Sakura said, turning around and walked back to Itachi, then looked back at the angry Pein and waved at him, "Bye Pein-kun, I'll come back later!" That made Pein's frown, turn into a smile and he waved back, as the two left. He then sighed, when the door closed and looked down at his paperwork, wishing he had someone to do it for him.
-With Sakura and Itachi-
"Aniki, where are we going now?" Sakura asked, following behind him, as they made their way down a hallway.
"We're going to meet the rest of the group." Itachi said and Sakura remained silent, until they got to a living room, where four of the members were. Two of them; a red-head and a blonde, sitting across from each other and arguing.
"For the last time, Sasori-danna, art should be an explosion, un!"
"Wrong, you dolt. Art is made to last forever, like a puppet."
"Damn it, will you two shut the hell up!? Everyday it's the same shit!" Sakura giggled at the screaming silver-haired man and Itachi just facepalmed, before fully entering the room, with Sakura following him.
"Hidan, can you please refrain from swearing?" He asked, earning said man's attention, who just stared at the Uchiha with a look that said 'Seriously?'
"Why the hell should I!?" Hidan asked, getting up, from the ground and Itachi glared at him, while everyone became quiet and watched the two.
"Because, we have a guest."
"A guest? When the hell do we ever have guests!?"
Itachi didn't say anything else to the Jahinist, realizing that the idiot wasn't going to listen to him. Instead, he just side-stepped to the right, giving everyone a full view of Sakura who was quiet and patiently waiting for everyone to notice her. Once they did, Sakura waved at the group, who all were staring in silent shock...well, everyone except Hidan and Tobi.
"Awww, what a cute kid! Tobi wants to hug her~!" Tobi exclaimed, getting up, from the couch and running up to Sakura, as she smiled and let the orange-masked male pick her up and bear-hugged her, while the silver-haired male stared at the two, then averted his eyes to Itachi and pointed at him, before screaming, "What the absolute fuck, Uchiha!? Why is there a damn child here and how the hell did you get her here anyway!?"
"Hidan, you over exaggerating idiot, I told you not to swear." Itachi stated, but all he got was a middle finger as a response and he turned to the rest of the group, who were waiting for an explanation, "I'm sure Pein-sama will inform you all, but long story, short, that is Sakura Haruno and she's been turned into a child by her teammate."
"Wait, it was the Kyuubi kid that did this?" Deidara asked, just to make sure and when he received a nod, the blonde started chuckling and it quickly turned into a full out laughing fit, with him clutching his stomach and Sasori pushed him off the couch in annoyance.
"Anyway, she's only here for the rest of the day and tomorrow I have to bring her back, so just let the others know." Itching stated, then turned to Tobi, who was still hugging Sakura and she kept poking his mask, asking why he looked like a lollipop, "Tobi, can you let her go?"
Whining a bit, the masked ninja reluctantly placed the girl back on the ground and she smiled, waving to the others, before Itachi ushered her out the room and as they were leaving, they could hear the faint sounds of Sasori and Deidara arguing again and Hidan cursing them out.
"Aniki, are all your friends that silly?" Sakura asked, smiling up at Itachi and he looked back at her, before replying, "No, it just seems that all the serious ones are out, at the moment."
Silently giggling to herself, Sakura continued following Itachi until they reached his room and as they entered, she looked around; noticing that it was completely neat, except for the few kunai that we're laying on a table. Interested, she walked over to the table and studied them for a bit, while Itachi watched and then she turned towards him and pointed to the weapons.
"Nii-chan and Naru-chan were using these." She stated and the male nodded his head, taking his cloak off and placing it on the chair in front of the table, "So that means, Aniki is a ninja too. Then can you teach me some techniques?!" Seeing the excitement in her eyes, almost reminded Itachi of Sasuke, when he was little.
"I don't know, most of my techniques are a bit dangerous." He stated, pondering on what he could teach her, until he noticed that her smile deflated and she started pouting, causing him to sputter out a quick, "But I'm sure there's something that I can teach you. In the mean time, how about I teach you how to handle the kunai?"
Hearing his offer, the pink-haired child's smile reappeared and her eyes sparkled with even more excitement, as she vigorously nodded her head. With her answer, Itachi gathered up his weapons and the two left the room, with him leading her towards the training room.
-With Sasuke, in the Hokage's office-
Sasuke stood, nervously averting his eyes anywhere but the angry blonde woman. After he had finish cleaning up his house, he went to the Hokage to inform her that his brother decided to take Sakura for the day. He had expected her to be pissed, but didn't expect her to give him the most frightening glare, while drumming her fingers so hard against the desk, that they created cracks and dents in the wooden desk. But here he was, mentally calling his brother an idiot and trying not to look at Tsunade, who was ready to bash his head in and to make matters worse; Naruto was in the room, still laughing loudly and rolling on the floor, with tears in his eyes and clutching his stomach.
"One mission." Tsunade finally said, through gritted teeth, making Naruto stop laughing at his friend, "I gave you one mission, Uchiha: Watch Sakura. And you've managed to lose her and now she's with Akatsuki."
"Ok, I didn't lose her, the Dobe did...twice" Sasuke defended himself, pointing to said person who glared at him, "and also, she's with Itachi."
"Who also seems to be a Lolicon." Naruto mumbled which Sasuke heard and glared at the blonde.
"I don't care, I told you to watch her. Why the hell was she alone your house, anyway?" The irritated Hokage asked and Naruto moved away from Sasuke, in case she decided to lash out at the male. Sasuke, on the other hand, looked calm but if you looked closely, you could see slight fear in his onyx colored eyes.
"Sakura said that she wanted to join the ninja academy, after seeing Naruto and I spar. I was gonna take her with my to sign her up, but she insisted that she could stay by herself." He explained and he noticed that Tsunade started to relax, which made him inwardly sigh in relief. She was silent, with her eyes closed as if she was thinking of something and neither male dared to say anything.
"This might be a good thing." Tsunade finally said and opened her eyes, staring at the two; who listened intently, "From what Naruto and Kakashi has told me, even though she can't remember anything, her ninja skills are still there; even if she doesn't notice."
"You think that being around more things that she's familiar with will help regain her memory." Sasuke suggested and Tsunade nodded.
"But she didn't even remember us, how is sending her back to the academy going to bring her memories back?" Naruto interjected and scratched the back of his head, in confusion.
"I don't know Naruto, but it's worth a shot. Just being around people isn't enough. For now, we'll see how it goes when Itachi brings her back." The bust woman replied, and then looked at Naruto, "Now on to other matters. Naruto, I need you to find the man that you got the potion from."
"I tried to earlier, but when I went back to the store, the building looked like he packed everything up and just left. The only thing he left behind, was that lame ass sign." Naruto explained and if looks could kill, the blonde would have burst flames and then his ashes would blow out the window; which made him hide Sasuke, in hopes that he would shield the woman's glare.
Take a deep breath, Tsunade started rubbing her temples to soothe her oncoming headache, instead of trying to kill both Jounin and then released her breath while saying, "Just get out, before I end up sending you idiots to the hospital. And so help me Uchiha, if your brother does not bring Sakura back, unharmed, there won't be anyone left to revive your clan."
With two fearful nods, Sasuke and Naruto left the office quickly just as Tsunade punched her desk and split the poor thing in half. When they left the building, it was pretty much evening time and Naruto ran off; saying that he was going get some rest and Sasuke was left by himself.
'I hope Sakura is alright.' He thought, heading back to his house. When he received no stupid or perverted comment from his inner, sighed in relief and continued his walk, peacefully.
-Back with Itachi and Sakura-
"Whoa." Itachi couldn't help but utter that one word, while staring at the five targets that stood in front of him and the little eight year-old. After they had arrived at the training room, he showed Sakura how to hold the kunai without harming herself, how to stand properly when she throws it and how to aim. After that, he demonstrated how to throw and sent a kunai flying at each target and hit all of them in the bulls eye. Sakura watched in awe, before chanting 'I wanna try' and the Sharingan user let her take a turn. First try, she was close, but still missed and it made her pout; but Itachi just chuckled and told her to try again. Surprisingly, on the second try, the little pinkette hit the targets dead on, which leads to his now surprised look and Sakura smiling at him.
"Did I do it right, Aniki?" she asked with hopeful eyes, which caused him to shake out of his stupor and look down at her. A small smirk appeared on his face, as he nodded his head and her smile widened and she started jumping up and down, cheering at her accomplishment.
"Well done, Sakura, I'm surprised you were able to succeed in such a short time. You're a fast learner, just like Sasuke." Itachi praised and Sakura stopped jumping around, only to turn back to him with an adorable blush on her cheeks.
"It's also because you're an awesome teacher, Aniki." Sakura commented and Itachi could feel his heart strings tug and the corners of his lips form a smile.
'Kawaii~" His mind squealed, while he patted her on the head and she giggled. Continuing on with teaching her a couple moves, Itachi was somehow unaware that his teammate was watching the two with a smile and a small chuckle. Quickly, Kisame took out a camera and snapped a couple pictures of Itachi teaching Sakura a few fighting techniques and defense and then took pictures of them having a mini spar session; with Itachi holding back, of course.
'Hehe, I'm so keeping these.' The blue man snickered to himself and ran off with the camera and by time the two were done, it was night time and Sakura was exhausted. So they both went to eat dinner with the rest of the members, in which Konan kept squealing about how cute Sakura was and earned quite a few stares; since she was normally quiet and after dinner, the chibi had gotten a bath and was now wearing an oversized shirt from Itachi and in bed, ready to sleep.
"I had fun today, Aniki." Sakura said, yawning and rubbing her eyes tiredly, while Itachi finished getting ready for bed, himself and he laid down next to her, while she cuddled into his side.
"I'm glad, Sakura." He said, "Tomorrow, we can go over what I showed you again, before go back to the village if you want." With a quick nod and a 'goodnight' they finally fell asleep, resting up for tomorrow.
-Back with Sasuke, in his room-
'It feels lonely without Sakura-chan by our side.' Inner Sasuke commented and Sasuke could only silently agree, while staring up at his ceiling.
'That dumbass better not let anything happen to her.'
'Itachi's not reckless. He'll watch her.' Sasuke thought, rolling over on his side and his Inner got pissed.
'How are you just accepting, that he could be having 'fun time' with our adorable Sakura-chan!?'
'Cause he's not a pedophile, like you.'
'Ha~! You just called yourself a pedophile!'
'Shut up!' With that angry thought, Sasuke closed his eyes and fell asleep; wishing tomorrow would come more quickly.
Me: And done~!
Neji: Finally. I'm glad that you finished, but the ending seemed a bit lazy.
Me: I know, but I'm tired and I haven't really slept in past few days.
Neji: Ah, ok.
Me: But I promise that I'll do my best on the next chapter! Until then R&R! Also, I think I might just redo Fangs and Love and just put it on Wattpad. Let me know what you think.
