Author's Note: Ah, the memories. The wind of the vent in my hair. The smell of the dust on my laptop. The shine of the lights in my room. It's been such a long time, but it's finally here! Chapter 10: Spy End

Annabeth's POV

It took me a while to regain from my shock and react to the kiss. I would have slapped him, but something inside felt this was right. I froze for a moment before kissing him back. His lips on mine where like a missing puzzle piece. I instantly forgot about everything. No worries were in my mind as our lips moved against the others in the same rhythm.

After what seemed like an eternity we pulled away gasping for air, our foreheads against each other.

"I- I..." I couldn't find the right words to say.

"Shh..." Percy whispered in my ear.

Once again he kissed me, but more passionately. I easily returned the kiss, it felt as if I had finally found my place. We both instantly pulled away from each other at the sound of the door opening. My eyes widened as I saw David and his body guards in front of the door.

"Well, what do we have here?" he asked looking over at Percy. "I didn't know I had competition, and it just had to be my worst enemy."

Percy protectively grabbed my waist and pulled me into his embrace. He glared at David.

"Get away from us," he growled.

"Sure, but first, give me back my fiancee," David said smiling evilly.

Percy growled, "No, now GET AWAY FROM US."

David grabbed a gun from his belt and pointed it at me.

"You get out, or I will shoot her," he answered harshly.

"No," Percy confirmed roughly.

"Okay then..." David said.

It all happened in slow motion. David shot and Percy quickly blocked me. I could feel the pressure of the shot, but not against me, against Percy. I looked, mortified by the view. You could see the blood slowly bleeding through Percy's shirt.

"PERCY!" I screamed as tears quickly rolled down my face.

"Get her!" David screamed.

The guards grabbed both my arms as I tried to struggle from them, but they were to strong. They put tape on my mouth and carried me out of the room as I tried to struggle from their grip. I remembered feeling pressure against my head before blacking out.

I was being kidnapped, for the third time of the day. Awesome. I sat up in the back of a limousine, I had a massive headache. I tried to stand up but my hands were tied along with my feet, I had tape over my mouth so I couldn't speak.

"MMMHHH!" I tried to scream.

"Oh honey, that's not going to work," David said. He was sitting in the seat next to me smirking evilly. "And next time you try cheating on me, the guy's family's and friends will die, in front of you. By the way, your little boyfriend is now dead."

Tears ran down my face. It was all my fault. I killed him. I killed Sea King. I killed Percy. I killed my heart.

"Oh don't worry, I will appreciate you much better than him," David said wiping my tears. I tried to struggle out of his hand but he grabbed my arm. "You belong to me now," he whispered in my ear, goosebumps ran through he at how close he was. He started to kiss my neck, I just closed my eyes trying to focus on other small details.

Luckily, the limo stopped. David stopped kissing me and got out of the limo. The two bodyguards grabbed me and took me out of the limo. We were in a big mansion outside of New York, most likely in the country side.

"This, will be our new home," David said extending his hands. "Where you will raise our children."

I just kept a straight face a nodded, trying to keep the tears in. But this is what I deserved, I killed Percy. The words rang over in my head over and over, 'You killed Percy'.

"Take her to her room please," David ordered.

The two guys walked me into the mansion and threw me in a big room with cream wallpaper. They looked at me as if to say, 'Don't do anything stupid'. David entered the room.

"You can roam around the mansion, and outside in the gardens. Beware that the place has high protection so nobody can get in, or out," he said and walked out the door followed by his bodyguards.

Once the door was slammed shut I walked towards the bed and lied down crying to myself. The words, the kiss, the gunshot kept replaying in my mind, which only made me cry harder.

"I killed him," I whispered.

"Umm... Miss..." someone, more specifically a woman, said.

I turned around to see a petite, skinny lady with dark brown hair. She was wearing a maid outfit, so I'm guessing she worked here.

"Are you Mr. David's Fiancee?" she asked. I nodded sadly. "Are you... alright?"

"Yeah..." I lied.

"I can tell your lying. Look my name's Sidney, and may I ask what's wrong?" she asked.

"I... I killed someone," I cried.

"What do you mean? How? I mean if you want to tell me," she said.

"No it's alright," I said and signaled to the seat next to me.

She sat down and looked at me. I then realized she was waiting for me to explain.

"Well, you see like David, I'm a spy. And... lately they sent me on a mission to spy on an agency called the OC. I met this guy, Percy at the airport. He didn't know I was a spy and I didn't know he was. He took me to his home because I didn't have anywhere to go. Then... he discovered I had stolen an important gem from a museum. He tried to arrest me but I escaped. That's when I got the mission to spy on the agency. Turns out Sea King, the leader of the agency was Percy. He captured me but I escaped once again. That's when David kidnapped me. He took me to this HQ and Percy found me. I thought he was going to arrest me or something, but he... he kissed me. And... I kissed him back. It felt like... love. That's when David came into the room and found us. Then he... he tried to shoot me, but Percy protected me. And he died... he died... because I killed him... I killed Percy..." I muttered crying. I could hear sobbing from next to me. I turned around and saw Sidney sobbing.

"I'm sorry! It's just the saddest love story I've ever heard!" she cried and put her hands over her face. I chuckled feeling a bit better.

"Thank you for listening," I said wiping my tears.

"Your.. Your welcome," she kept on sobbing. I smiled and gave her a hug.

"Really, thank you," I said.

"What's your name?" she asked me.

"Annabeth, Annabeth... Chase," I said. I smiled remembering my childhood. The good years.

Author's End Note: LOL I'm just kidding about the end. No I still have more chapters too come. Sadly, without Percy :(. He died. WHY HEAVEN!? WHY ME!? WHY DID I WRITE THAT!?
