Hiro woke to the sound of a car engine, he attempted to stand stumbling and falling off the couch. He groaned and got to his feet, met by a very loud and feminine. "Hiro!"
Hiro saw Honey Lemon and Wasabi standin in the open garage door way. Before he could react Honey Lemon had him in a bear hug that would rival that of a real bear. "Can't… breath…" he choked out. She immediately dropped him and took a step back. "What do you guys want?" Hiro asked as he caught his breath.
"We wanted to know where you were, you gave us quite a scare yesterday." Wasabi grinned and leaned against the garage door frame, "what did you do yesterday anyway? We couldn't find you anywhere."
"None or your business. Now leave." He deadpanned the best he could, he didn't want ot threw his friends away, they were the only ones he ever had. But he had to do this himself.
Honey Lemon recoiled like he had physically attacked her. "Hiro we spent all day looking for you yesterday, please don't push us away again." Her spanish accent overpowering her soft voice.
It hurt him to say, "I just need to be alone for now. So please just leave."
"Little man you'll thank us later, but for right now we're not leaving you again. You need to stay calm and collected for the next time Krei attacks. Till then we wait and pray that Gogo wakes up." Wasabi tried again to talk him down, even if he didn't know what Hiro was planning.
"you guys don't understand, i'm fine. I'm just… working on a something i want to be a surprise. Now please go so i can finish up." He technically wasn't lying. It would be a surprise. But probably not a good one.
Wasabi eyed him up and down, not sure whether or not the believe him. Even if he did should he leave? After a second of thought he spoke. "Come on Honey, i believe him. But trust me, if you go and do something stupid Gogos full wrath will be on your, and she's been resting up."
Honey Lemon spun around and gave him a look that said 'are you crazy?!'
"Don't give me that look. If he's really working on a surprise, do you want to be the one to ruin it?" Wasabi crossed his arms. "And i'm your ride."
"No.l hiro please don't do anything stupid." Honey Lemon muttered without turning around and walked out of the garage without another english word, she left muttering in spanish.
"Don't mind her, she gets puty when she doesn't get her way." Wasabi joked, "but seriously don't do anything that will get yourself killed." Wasabi made it sound like a joke, but Hiro could feet the severity in his words. He walked out with a smile and a wave.
Hiro sighed, dodged a bullet there, now it's time to find Krei. It's going to be a lot harder finding him without Beymax, but what if i could call him out. He looked toward where he hid the suit. Need a new name, The DISRUPTOR! no thats dumb, well maybe i don't need a name. Hiro slammed the garage door shut and flicked on the lights, he found an old webcam he was gong to implement into something but never got around to it. He hooked it up to his computer and ran a test to see if it would work. After he tested it, he donned his suit. Just like Brains suit except completely black and traded the half masked helm for a full mask to hide his face. He pulled on old t.v. from a pile of junk, hooked it up and turned it on. A bright news station lit the screen, a man stood in front of the abandoned warehouse he fought Krei in. He pulled up a program that would hack the radio waves and change the display.
He never used it on a large scale like he was planning right now, only as small pranks or a cool idea for a robot controller. He pulled up a video on Youtube, Nyan cat. Than activated the program. As he turned to the t.v. the image wobbled and disappeared altogether, but was shortly replaced as Nyan cat. He immediately shut down the program and Nyan cat disappeared, than the news caster reappeared, still talking on about something related to the warehouse. Great it works so i just need to record a threat and call out Krei, than get on with it. He pulled up the webcam and recording software.
Brains sat on a couch in Freds living room, Fred sitting next to her. They stared up at the 70 inch plasma screen t.v. with The Avengers playing on it. But all the sudden the picture disappeared, Fred and Brains shared a confused look. The picture reappeared, but it wasn't The Avengers, it was Nyan cat. "What the.." Fred trailed off as Nyan cat disappeared, than The Avengers came back on. Brains and Fred shared a even more confused look, but they shrugged it off and went back to enjoying their show.
About an hour later it happened again, only this time it wasn't Nyan cat, it was a video of a black masked man. His voice deep and threatening, "Krei, yo weak, spineless dog. You took something of mine and i intend to get it back. Meet me at the docks in one hour, if you don't you'll regret it." The mans finger slapped a key and the screen went dark, than The Avengers came back on. "You don't think that was Hiro do you?" Brains asked, her voice full of shock and worry.
"I think that's exactly who it is. Classic comic book plot." Fred sat forward and grabbed his phone off the coffee table in front of them. He dialed up Wasabi, who answered after only one ring. "Wasabi, did you just see that?"
Ya, what do you make of it? His voice crackled over the line.
"Thats got to be Hiro, he's got a vendetta against him now. This is a classic comic book finally, and i'm not how the outcomes looking."
You make a good point, but finally what do you mean?
"I mean last issue, for obvious reasons. Either A: the hero dies or B: The hero kills the enemy, but losses their identity and humanity, most likely to become the next villain, and i'm thinking its the latter to be honest."
But Kreis the only enemy he has, how would he become the villain?"
"Because he would die otherwise, and he's a survivor."
Wasabi went silent. Than came back with, meet at the docks in 45 minutes, we can't let Hiro die or kill Krei, because it's obvious that its going to be one of the outcomes. then the line went dead.
Fred leaned back into the coach, he looked over at Brains. She looked worried. "We're meeting at the docks in 45 minutes." All Brains could do was nod.
Hiros going to go all red x on Krei this is going to be good. But not next chapter, next chapter will be a much needed chapter explaining what's going on in Gogos head, and if you haven't read the other stories you'll like what's coming.
