I'm so sorry! I sort of lost my account, but I found it again!

I'll be continuing with the story!

Ch. 10

"Let me read them!" "Come on Neville, we know you wrote them down!" The twins yelled, chasing the clumsy Neville around the Gryfindor common room. "No way! Ask Ari herself!" he yelled back, struggling to keep the notes from Ari's interview away from them.

Finally, one of the twins snatched it out of his hands. "Got it!" Fred yelled, and he and George knelt by the fire place to read them.

Familiar Notes

"Would you classify a Familiar as a dangerous magical creature?"

Yes

"Would you classify yourself as a dangerous magical creature?"

No. I do not have the full powers of a full-blood familiar

"What (familiar) powers do you have?"

Familiar blood gives me resistance to most minor spells. Like a stunning curse would only knock me over. It would probably not even knock the wind out of me. I also have a higher magical power than an average witch or wizard my age, my Familiar mark boosts defence spells, and I don't like the cold.

"Does your wand have anything to do with you being half-Familiar?"

The core of it is skin from a Familiar's true form.

"Which parent is a Familiar?"

My father

"Is your mother a witch?"

No. She's a muggle.

"Do you concider yourself a muggle-born or a half-blood?"

Half-blood. I have magical blood in me, even if it isn't from a witch or wizard.

"Familiars are said to have control over elements. Can you?"

Sometimes. It's an emotional control. The only thing I've ever done is make a sink leak when I was really sad

"Does your small size have anything to do with it?"

I don't know. I've never met another half-familiar and books don't say.

"Can you talk to snakes?"

You mean am I parseltongue? Now that is a secret that I shall be keeping a secret.

"Wow!" the twins yelled, after reading it. "Now give it back," Neville complained. Groaning, they gravely it back to him, and set about whispering.

Sneaking around the school at 2 in the morning was completely against the rules, and there was a surprising amount of chance to run into another student than there was a teacher catching you.

But walking straight into Harry Potter in the middle of the night wasn't on the top of Ari's favorite things to do.

Thump

"Ow!" the muttered curse that followed would have made the tiny girl laugh if the voice wasn't so familiar. Her eyes widened in horror and stared back at the eyes of Potter and Weasley.

"Why you…" Ron yelled, ready to charge at her.

Ari did the only thing her very tired mind could think of…

She began to cry.

"Ronald, what did you do?!" Hermione yelled, running around the corner at the sound. The red head looked completely shocked. "I…I didn't…"

Harry kneeled down by the girl.

"Are you alright?" he asked her.

He seemed a little unsure of what else to say. He didn't even think it was possible for a Slytherin to cry!

Ari sniffed a bit, and looked up. "I'm ok," she said, sounding very quiet. She didn't know why, but she didn't feel threatened with Potter squatting in front of her.

Until she looked over a Ron, who was still utterly in shock at a crying Slytherin

Then she started crying again.

"What do we do?" Harry asked Hermione, helplessly.

"I don't know!" she snipped at him. Ron blinked a couple times, before actually having a good idea. "We should take her to my brothers. They're always hanging around with her."

A very angry Hermione made Harry carry Ari on his back all the way to the Gryffindor common room.

Ron ran up to get the twins.

"Fred, George, we have a problem," he 'whispered'. The twins rolled over, half awake. "What in the bloody hell do you want at this time of the night?" Fred muttered at him.

Ron blushed brighter than his hair, looking like her was glowing in the dark room.

"The Familiar-girl is, um, sort of in our common room," he stuttered. Fred and George were standing before he could blink an eye. "What the hell happened," they said together.

Long-story-turned-short latter, they were flying down the stairs.

"Fred!" Ari squeeled, diving into his arms. George was too busy glaring at Potter to complain about not being hugged too.

Harry started to explain himself, but the white-haired-girl stepped in between him and the eldest twin.

"It wasn't his fault," she said, confidently. "He helped."

The twins gave her identical unbelieving looks, but opted to each take one of her hands. "Lets get you back to your common room," Fred said. "What were you doing, wondering around without Malfoy anyways?" George chimed in.

Ari looked uncomfortable, and said nothing.

The twins talked back and forth, and to her, all the way down to the dungeons and still she refused to answer.

They finally just gave up and knocked on the "secret" Slytherin Common room entrance.

Snape opened it.

"What the bloody hell are you two doing wondering around in the middle of the night?" he hissed at them. They both pointed down at the top of Ari's head.

"Token…" he started to say, but was distracted by the twins trying to sneak away.

"Ten points from Gryffindor!" he yelled after them, and let Ari in.

He turned and looked at her, but she would not meet his eyes. "Do you want to talk about it?" he asked, though sounding very uncomfortable at the thought of a "heart-to-heart" talk.

Ari shook her head no.

"Then go up to bed, and I won't mention this to Mr. Malfoy."

"Thank you," was the barely-audible response. She was up the stairs and out of sight before Snape could blink twice.
