Samusaran101: I'm so sorry for the long wait! O_O This stupid "Error 404" was back!
CupcakePride101: Yeah! I was going to keep her evil… but I changed my mind.
BorderCollieChihuahuaGirl98: (sniff) I know! Poor Young Link… (YL won... sorry, XionTheBlackRose!)
Sideswipe124: Oh… okay. I understand. I'll try something different. But there's still going to be torture! :D And NO. NEVER! I will NEVER write rape! It's just… wrong… (cringes) So, you don't have to worry about that! ^_^
Story time!
***Link's POV***
"Link! Wake up!"
I tensed and sighed inwardly at the annoying voice of Midna the imp. "C'mon, rise and shine!"
"Oh, shut up, Midna," Avy snapped.
"You shut up!"
"I told you first!"
"I told you second!"
"You nasty little-"
"Guys," Mory almost pleaded. "Calm down, both of you! We need to get moving,"
"Fine," Midna said irritably. "But once we rescue this Young Link, I'm going to blast this child into smithereens!"
"Pfft… I somehow doubt that,"
"Oh, really? Are you honestly that moronic of a mortal?"
"Do you see this sword in my hand, Midna? Do you know where I'm about to put it?"
"Where's Ghirahim?" I cut in suspiciously. If that bastard had run on us, he was going to wish I'd killed him all those years ago.
"Right next to you, sky child," a smooth voice said calmly next to my left ear, and my skin crawled, or rather died from the absolute disgust I felt. I jumped away from him. He just tossed his hair back and smirked.
Damn that demon.
"Let's go," Midna decided. "We're almost there now, my senses are telling me to go right… then straight. After three more miles, we should be there,"
Relief coursed through my body. "Thank the goddesses,"
"So, remind me again…" Ghirahim put lightly. "Who are these lovely ladies?"
Mory cringed and Avy stood up abruptly. "EXCUSE me? Watch it, Ghirahim. You're treading on dangerous ground,"
Well, one of them is a snarky tomboy who hates you more than I hate Ganondorf, and that is some serious hate. The other one is a remarkable, beautiful, and amazing archer with long blonde hair a gorgeous smile… I've never felt like this before…
It took me a few seconds for me to realize Ghirahim was staring at me, waiting for an answer. I wiped what must have been a dreamy expression off of my face and responded. "They're… allies,"
"How do you know that THEY can be trusted?"
I gaped at him; did he realize what he was saying? "Well, unlike SOME people, they haven't tried to viciously murder me and a princess who has done absolutely NOTHING wrong to-"
"Let's go!" cried Mory almost hysterically. "We REALLY need to get going right NOW!"
"This is not over," I hissed in Ghirahim's smirking face, turning around to stomp away angrily.
If the goddesses had thought I could stand four days with this sick monster… well, they were sadly mistaken. If I had to see him once more, I would go insane.
Eh… all for the greater good.
***Normal POV***
"Hello," Cleo smiled dreamily.
Young Link gaped at her. She was a mess. Her hair was filthy, her clothes were bloodstained, and still, that eerie, slightly disturbing expression was on her face.
Did she have serious problems or something?
"You didn't die," Cleo continued. "That is good. That is very good…"
Young Link groaned inwardly. All he wanted to do was kill himself in peace, damn it!
"I've tried to do that myself, you know," Cleo said solemnly. "It never worked,"
"I'm going to make it work, than," Young Link said firmly, lifting the blade. His arms trembled slightly as he did so, and they both knew it was a lie.
"No, you won't," countered Cleo. "You're not strong enough. I can see the hesitation growing larger in your eyes,"
Goddesses help me… even death has to be better than this.
Still… it was true.
Young Link placed the knife on the ground, covering his face in his hands and began to sob. Cleo wrapped a comforting arm around him.
Ten minutes later, Young Link regained a hold of himself and straightened up abruptly, trying to gather some of his remaining dignity up from the dust it was shoved into. "Um… so… Did Melinda get to you, too?"
"Melinda?" Cleo smiled again, faintly. "My mother's name was Melinda,"
"I thought she died,"
"She did," Cleo frowned slightly, a crease forming between her eyebrows. "She was captured by Ganondorf and-"
"Okay, okay," Young Link said quickly, not wanting to hear it. "I understand,"
"Do you?" Cleo blinked. "Who have you lost who was close to you?"
"Well…"
"Mmm."
"But… I mean… the torturer Melinda,"
"Oh… you mean that lady. No, she never got to me."
"Just Aya?"
"Yes… yes, just Aya," Cleo sighed. "Some people in this world can be so cruel… it is a shame, really,"
More disturbed and in need of serious help than cruel… but at least they were getting somewhere.
"Young Link and Cleo," drawled a familiar voice from the doorway, and Young Link felt his heart sink into the pit of his stomach. "How adorable,"
"Hello, Mr. Aya," Cleo greeted. "I honestly think you owe me an apology,"
Aya looked taken aback, and then snarled. "Freak!"
"Leave her alone!" Young Link hissed, surprising Aya, Cleo, and himself.
"Well, well… look here! The property can speak," Aya sneered. "How amusing,"
"I am not anyone's property," Young Link growled. "Besides, if anyone's a freak, it's you! Do you understand what you do for a living? Ask yourself this… 'Was I BORN an insane bastard, or did I have to work on it?' Goddesses, we are children! CHILDREN! Were you neglected as a child, Aya? Did your parents taunt you, mercilessly bully you and TORTURE you?! I would venture to say not! So if you're here to insult or torture me, just walk AWAY? I will not stand by to hear anymore of your complete and utter crap, you hear me? Not any longer!"
Young Link stood up, fury coursing through every inch and pore of his body, mind, and soul.
But when he saw the BEYOND pissed look on Aya's face, he knew he was dead.
How could he possibly be so stupid?
"Come here, you little piece of arrogant garbage!" Aya grabbed a fistful of the boy's hair and shoved their faces so close together that Young Link could smell the rancid breath of the repulsing man before him.
"Why don't you say that to my face?" Aya spat, spraying Young Link's face with saliva. "I suppose I'll have to put you in your place ONCE MORE, than, won't I, little boy?"
Young Link's eyes darted everywhere except Aya's face, and landed on the doorway. Young Link's heart nearly stopped.
The cell door was open.
It was open. The door to freedom… to life.
He had to get out… but the question was…
How?
It was only too easy. And despite the very possible and most likely option was that he would pay for the action later, Young Link might never have a chance like this again. It was the only way.
Terror overtook Young Link as he swallowed and gathered up all of the courage he could muster. He lunged forward and sank his teeth into the enemy's shoulder.
Aya yelped and jumped back, releasing the boy and clutching a hand to his shoulder. Young Link sneered at him before running as fast as he could to the door.
"GET YOUR SCRAWNY LITTLE ASS BACK HERE, YOU LOW-LIFE PIECE OF SHIT!"
Young Link sprinted across the corridor, never even breaking a sweat.
Suddenly, he felt hands grab him by the shoulders and jerk him roughly into a room. He felt coarse ropes coming out and tightening around his wrists.
"What in the world-" Young Link began angrily, but felt a handkerchief pulled over his mouth.
A face appeared before him. It was wearing clothes similar to his, only with intense and almost creepy blue eyes and an odd smirk. Young Link nearly jumped out of his skin in fear and horror.
The said figure punched him hard in the face. Young Link fell to the floor, letting out a muffled groan.
"Hello, Young Link," Its smile was growing even more insane by the minute. Young Link cringed away from him, holding back a whimper. "I am Ben,"
This "Ben" took out his array of knives and began tossing them at Young Link, one by one, aiming carefully. They stuck in his leg and stomach, creating sickening gashes that burned like hell. Young Link bit back a muffled cry of pain. Ben grinned, the smile stretching his face disturbingly. Nauseous, Young Link tried to sit up, but a knife drove through his foot and pinned it to the ground. This time, the boy could not help but cry out in pain.
What did he ever do to deserve this?
Exist?
What if he didn't want to exist anymore?
Ben finally stopped throwing his knives and raised an eyebrow. "Who is your master?"
I can't speak, you idiot! Young Link's mind screamed at the person. But Ben untied the handkerchief around his mouth and narrowed his eyes, clearly expecting an answer from his captive.
"W-w-what do you mean?" Young Link forced out, hating the stammer in his voice.
"Your master, boy. The person who OWNS you,"
"No one owns me!" Young Link snarled. The fury on Ben's face disturbed him. "Very well, then… I guess we'll have to work on your rude behavior a little more… so… let our little lesson begin,"
"You'll never own me," Young Link choked out. "I'll never belong to anyone! I'm my own person! I'm not a slave! You'll NEVER break me!"
Ben's odd creepy grin was back full-force "We'll see about that soon enough, then, won't we?"
"Do you work for Ganondorf?"
"No," Ben's face darkened visibly. "And what place are you in to ask me whatever your tiny little mind desires? I tell you what to do from now on. Do you hear me?"
"Of course I hear you. I'm not deaf, nor stupid. And didn't I tell you I don't belong to you? I'll ask whatever I damn right want to," Young Link snarled, shocking himself with his own bravery… and stupidity.
Ben lurched forward and grabbed the boy's arm tightly, so hard that Young Link could feel his bones creak under the pressure. "NEVER get snarky with me, boy. Now I'll have to punish you… even worse than I originally planned,"
Young Link had never feared any moment in his life.
Ben wrapped the cloth around the boy's mouth once more, this time even tighter. Young Link felt tears threaten to spill, but ignored them. Now was not the time to break down.
The villain took out his knife once again, angrily eyeing the mark on Young Link's neck. "Hmm… I see. Aya… that wretched fool. We'll just have to jix this, then,"
He placed the blade in Young Link's neck and crossed out Aya's name out, leaving blood on his neck. Ben then carved his own name into the skin, doing extra deep for the pain of it. Young Link gritted his teeth in hurt.
"There," Ben said finally, pulling back to admire his work. "Perfection. I shall give you time to cope before you are tortured tomorrow…"
He left the room.
Young Link hoped his brother was coming for him very soon… before it was too late.
Samusaran101: HA! I lied! There IS no torture! YET! Muahahahaha! Just wait till the next chapter! Oh, and the character Ben is not mine. He is from the EPIC creepypasta "Ben Drowned". I would look up the BLESSED person that made that, but I'm too lazy… and Ben's face kinda creeps me out… (hangs head in shame) XD All you Zelda fans out there have probably watched it. And for those of you who haven't… well? What are you standing around here for? GO! GO! GO! ^_^
