Ronald's eyes filled with tears "Please...don't go..." he pleaded.

Jasmine's heart shattered as she choked out "I'm...so sorry...this is for the best...I will never forget you. I love you...Ronnie."

"You can't leave!" Alan took a step forward with arm extended toward the half demon, but Eric stopped him. The smaller man gave his partner a confused, pleading look, but Eric simply shook his head.

Sebastian watched dispassionately as his daughter said good bye to her partner. He snorted quietly. This was ridiculous she is a demon. She was not one of them so why should she care? Her mother was the same way when she was alive, but the woman had made her choice and payed dearly for it. Not wanting to watch this pathetic display he said "Let's go."

"Jasmine!" Ronald called once more as the two demons began to walk away.

Jasmine had to ignore his voice. If she did not, she would end up going back and that would not be what Sebastian wanted. She knew Sebastian was right in taking her away from this. It had to be right.

~X~ SOMEWHERE IN LONDON ~X~

"You know what you need to do." Sebastian's slick voice purred in Jasmine's ear as he gently nudged her forward. They were both eyeing a young boy with his father. He was carrying two grocery bags and they boy was trotting along happily jabbering about several different things. "Take his soul." The silky voice purred again. "You know you have to if you want to become a real demon."

Jasmine hesitated. Kill the little boy? Why couldn't she kill the father? She knew she had no choice, however, she did not want to kill the helpless little boy in front of her. It simply wasn't fair. Her father knew what he was doing though. She had to become a full demon before she could make a contract with a human. She felt her throat burn more than ever. The thought of a soul driving her demon instincts crazy. She wanted to kill. She needed to kill.

"Do it." Sebastian's eyes glowed indicating he was growing impatient with his daughter. He would turn her into a ruthless demon to serve his master. Even if it meant forcing her to kill when she did not wish to. That was the point in being a demon. To form a contract and take the soul, but this was far quicker. There was no need to waste time with contracts.

"As you wish…" Jasmine changed forms and leaped from roof to roof following after them. Taking no time catching up she lunged and swiftly bit into the boy's throat and leaving the father stunned. Taking the soul and leaping back up to the roof she could feel the power surging within her. The burning in her throat that she suppressed for so long was gone. Her unquenchable thirst for a human soul vanquished.

~X~ LATER AT THE PHANTOMHIVE MANSION ~X~

Jasmine sat on the roof staring up at the stars. Her heart longed to see her Ronnie, but she knew that after what happened she would never be welcome there again. Tears fell from her green and yellow eyes as memories flooded her mind. She was supposed to be forgetting him, but every time she tried her mind disobeyed and gave her more memories of her lost love. She kept telling herself that her father was right, but was he really? Was he only doing this for his own gain and not for her benefit? She didn't have that answer and it worried her slightly. She was a demon now and that was that. She was past the point of no return.

"Lingering on the past will do you no good." the silky voice of her father drifted to her.

She knew he was right, but she refused to forget Ronald. Sighing she said "Did you mean it when you said I should try and protect what is dear to me? Isn't that why you turned that kid into a demon?"

Sebastian knew what she was getting at, but at the same time he knew that she would most likely be killed if she went back "I know you 'love' him, but you won't be able to go back there after what happened. You took a human soul."

"I know father, but..." her tears fell harder and she buried her face in his chest. She felt her father hold her protectively. His embrace filling her with warmth.

"I know it wasn't easy. Once you find a worthy soul I am positive you will forget about those shinigami." He said despite not believing his own words. It was simple manipulation.

Jasmine knew she was more shinigami than demon, but her father wanted to change that. She would find a way to be with Ronald again. The warmth left her and she looked up. Her father was walking away.

"You belong with them." he mumbled looking up at the sky "Go."

"T-thank you father-"

"No. I want you to know that if you leave here than you are no longer my child. Now choose." His eyes gave away his fury with his daughter.

"I choose the shinigami. You are right I do belong with them. I-" she never got the chance to finish. Pain flared within her body and she knew Sebastian was the cause of the pain. She lost all feeling and her vision went dark. It was over if he decided to kill her. Would she ever seen Ronnie again?

~X~ SHINGIAMI REALM ~X~

"Did you find her?" Alan asked Eric, Grell, and William as they came back from the search.

"No. But Ronald took off somewhere on his own." William sighed. He was worried for the young shinigami.

"Why would she do something like this? She seemed fine..." Alan pondered, tears pricking at his eyes.

"There must have been something. I'm certain she wouldn't have just taken a soul like that." Grell looked down. "Something must have happened."

Ronald walked in and the four shinigami knew something was wrong. The blonde's eyes were red around the edges and his face was stained with tears. Something was very wrong.

"Ronald?" Grell asked his former student.

"She's...gone...Michaelis took her...I…couldn't find them…" he collapsed to his knees sobbing. He couldn't stand the painful emptiness in his chest. He wanted Jasmine back. He wanted to hold her close and never let her go again.

Tears fell from Alan's eyes and Eric took the smaller man in his arms "Shh Alan it will be alright. We will find her."

Grell pulled Ronald into a hug "Eric is right. We will find her."

Kuro: *hides in a cave in the middle of nowhere to avoid angry fans* Wow tragic...anybody want a sequel?

Ronald: She means it. She won't repeat the event of Autumn Leaves. Meaning she really will do the sequel.

Sebastian: I will make sure she writes it. In fact she has already started it.*takes Grell's death scythe and ties Kuro to a chair*

Kuro: Yeah I know Hannah was the one who changed Ciel, but for the sake of the story just roll with it...wait why are you here, Sebastian?

Sebastian: Because I was in this chapter *smirks*
