Natsu gritted his teeth and punched the ground as he heard his old teams conversation as they walked away.
"I'll get you back for this Lucy."
Natsu lay on the ground, sun setting in the sky. It's only been a couple minutes since Lucy left him on the ground and walked away with her teammates. How the fuck did she beat me?! The question kept running through his head. The past Lucy he knew was a girl, with confidence to sometimes win a battle over with sex appeal, who always depended on her teammates, the Lucy he knew. Was weak. What happened to the girl he used to know? Struggling to sit up, Natsu flinched. Damn that girl had done a number on him. The pavement scratched his legs as the dragon tried to stand up and fell back down to the ground. After many more attempts to stand up, Natsu's legs still wouldn't participate with him and ended up giving way every time he stood. Soon his legs and hands were covered with bleeding scratches from the rough ground.
"Fuck it" Natsu hissed and lay back onto the ground. 'I'll try to get up later" and with that the dragon fell into a slumber.
Lucy smiled as Happy and Kasai ran towards her as she stepped into her room at Fairy Hills
"Mama!" Kasai hollered and jumped into her arms.
"Lushy!" Happy crashed into her chest as usual. Juvia and Levy walked out of the kitchen.
"Lu-chan! you're safe," Levy said in relief as gave her friend a tight hug. After everyone had said what they wanted to say, Lucy suggested she put the pizza in the oven so they could all talk while eating.
"So how did you beat Natsu?"
While waiting for the food, Gray decided to question his friend about the battle she had with Natsu. Lucy sat in thought for a moment, debating if she should tell her friends the new moves she has learned over the past 5 years. A smirk appearing on her face Lucy replied
"You'll have to watch me fight, or fight me to find out." Grays smile disappeared from his face. Suddenly feeling uneasy about her choice of words, Lucy opened her mouth to speak only to feel the soft impact of a pillow being thrown at her face. As the brown pillow fell into her lap, the girl looked up to see Gray laughing at him.
"Did you see your face?! Ha that was hilarious" Gray said between laughs. Lucy picked up her pillow and sent it back at Gray, knocking the smile off his face. When Grays laughs were silence she retorted.
"Thats what you get for laughing your ass off at me" before Gray could talk back, Lucy chucked another couch pillow at his face. Soon eventually the duo engaged in a furious pillow fight, Lucy laughed loudly as Gray tripped over the coffee table and fell onto his back. After a couple of minutes Happy flew into the room calling out that the food was ready, when Gray turned and threw a pillow at him.
"Wahh Lushy, Gray hit me with a pillow." Happy cried out and hid behind the blonde. Lucy giggled and walked towards the kitchen where Levy was looking through the drawers.
"Levy-chan what are you looking for?" she questioned
"I can't find the pizza cutter..." Levy mumbled a reply. Lucy looked at the two pizzas sitting on the counter. Just looking at them made her mouth water.
"Levy-chan, wait in the living room, I'll cut the pizza and bring them out." Levy looked at her friend in confusion but obeyed and walked out to talk to Gray and Happy. When the blunette had left, Lucy looked at the pizza. Taking a deep breath, Lucy closed her eyes and focused.
"mutare ossa mea de novo crearet" she chanted (change my bones to create anew in latin) Lucy felt a numbing sensation in her hand, keeping her eyes closed she waited for the numbing to cease. Finally the girl opened her eyes and glanced at her hand. Breathing out a sigh of relief Lucy smirked, recently she has been working on a new type of magic, and right now she has just perfected it. Inspecting her hand, Lucy double checked for any flaws. The magic she had created was the magic to morph her bones into anything she wished. Right now, she only had one hand, Lucys other hand had turned into a knife.
