I don't own these stories (characters) blah blah

If anyone is a Marvel fan, I have some Marvel stories that I would love for everyone to hit up and review

Yesterday ~ Imagine Dragons

Piper POV:

We sat with the first years, riding the boats that they go into the castle.

It was beautiful. The rising castle across the dark lake, all of its windows glowing with orange-yellow light. It was stunning.

Once we actually got into the castle, we were sorted into a group, with us at the front. The professors telling us that they wanted to get us done first, so they can focus on their actual first years.

"Now this year, we are inviting some very special guests from America. We are going to invite them, well two of them, up to give a little speech on their background." The crowd erupted in applause, and Percy and Annabeth walked up to the podium.

"Okay, so. Hey!" Annabeth started, Percy was standing behind her, not making any move to actually make the speech with Annabeth. "We're from America like Professor McGonagall said. You'll be seeing a lot of us. So, uh. I'm Annabeth, and this is Percy. I can introduce the rest of them…or not. We have been brought here for a variety of reasons. One of them being the possibility of Vol-You-Know-Who's return. The other is that America, specifically our city has been in a big war against a dark wizard of our own, and we just won."

The teacher in pink clear her throat, Annabeth didn't even look around to see Percy sending a sickening glare towards her.

"Hogwarts, upon hearing the wizarding war in America, agreed to help at a few expensive. Quite a few other wizarding schools around the world have taken wizards and witches, mostly in Canada. Hogwarts has thankfully taken some of us. Our own school was destroyed by the war, and until it has been repaired, we're here with you. I hope we can be allies and not enemies." Annabeth stood down from the podium, Percy following, sticking close to her side.

I let myself zone out a bit. Not focusing on the headmaster's short speech, before the greying lady is back holding a long list.

"Chase, Annabeth."

Annabeth POV:

The old, odd hat was placed on my head, it's old, cheerily voice filling my head; "a wise one. Definitely that. But I don't think Ravenclaw would suit you too well. Let's see. Let's see. Oh, you're not a witch? Daughter of Athena? I have a little secret, all four of the founders were demi-gods, Salsar was a son of Athena. Now, let me see. You are very intelligent. Very tactical, hold a grudge I see. Attitude, the ones I usually see in demi-gods. Oh, you feel gifted. You have to use your powers for good, that's some serious ambition there. Designing Olympus? You are a Slytherin, aren't you? SLYTHERIN!" The final word was screamed out the hall, the table in green erupting in hoots and cheers. I step down from the stairs, my robes changing into a deep green.

The table around me is smiling, introducing themselves with grins and happy eyes.

"Pleasure, Draco Malfoy."

"Annabeth Chase."

"Di Angelo, Nico," McGonagall called.

Nico POV:

I walk up to the stool and the hat is placed on my head. There is silence in my mind as I stare at the hall in front of me, focusing on some of the floating candles.

"An interesting one!" A voice in my head crowed.

"Are you in my head?" I ask the voice in my head chuckled.

"You are interesting. Similar to that Chase girl. Oh, looky here, do I see another demi-god? Hades? Most of his children end up in Hufflepuff. I haven't seen one in two hundred years, she was a nice one. Similar to you. But not too much. You, you sir are ambitious. Maybe Gryffindor would suit? Oh no, not for you. Ravenclaw perhaps? But you take the shortcut, you'd rather skip than learn. You are intelligent but very unRavenclaw, they do not take the shortcut."

The hats voice pauses, humming to himself as he thought.

"Slytherin may suit you very well. It will do you well, I think. No Objection? SLYTHERIN!"

The room was greeted with cheers and polite claps from the other houses.

"Grace, Thalia."

Thalia POV:

I tilt myself on the stole, the hat barely balancing on top.

"Another one? Just my luck. I can see that. You are a very good leader. The Head of Artemis's hunt? Very good, so very good. Is that Zeus I sense? Artemis's magic overpowers his, for the hunt at least. Slytherin? I seem to be on a roll here. SLYTHERIN!"

Jason POV:

I slam myself down on the seat, causing it to rock slightly under my weight.

The old hat is placed on my head for a mere second before it screams; "HUFFLEPUFF!"

The yellow house erupts in screams and cheers, taunting Slytherin, as the greenhouse clapped politely, a few screaming back that they had three, instead of just one.

I sat down next to a blond boy, who claps me on the back.

"Is having us in your house a competition or something?"

"It is now."

"Jackson, Percy." I turn myself around, seeing Percy sulk up to the chair, looking somewhat uncomfortable to be in the view of everyone.

Percy POV:

"You are all so very interesting!" The hat laughed. "You have such bravery, like a lion? Oh and you are ambitious, very ambitious. You have so many dreams you want to complete. Two wars? A leader for both? My, my very impressive. Let's see, let's see. You are so loyal, loyal to a fault. Perhaps Hufflepuff? Hm, maybe not. You're more a leader than anything. Yes. I think. I think Slytherin will do you well. SLYTHERIN!"

"WE GOT FOUR!" The Slytherin table screamed, erupting in the biggest applause of the night, a few of the older ones got up, hugging me, jumping around me in complete happiness. I slide down across from Annabeth, her smiling at me. Thalia sat right next to me, and Nico next to Annabeth.

"It's the dam four back together."

"Levesque, Hazel."

Hazel POV:

I walk up to McGonagall, her smiling at me kindly.

"Hm, a past. You have such a past. You're brave. I mean all of you demi-gods are brave, but you are different. Oh, you fit so well with each house. You're hard to place." The hat hummed to itself, thinking. "Any preferences?"

"I've heard good things about Gryffindor."

"Gryffindor? It would suit you. It will do you good, but so would Ravenclaw…"

"I want to be in Gryffindor."

"Better be, then? GRYFFINDOR!"

The house cheered, and I bounce down to the two Weasley twins, cheering the loudest, wrapping me up in a hug.

"McLean, Piper."

Within seconds of the hat being placed on her head, it screamed; "GRYFFINDOR!" And she joined me at the table, grinning wildly.

"Vadlez, Leo."

Leo POV:

I walk up, master as much swagger as possible; "An idiot." The hat's first words were. "But, a brave idiot. Ready to give his life for his friends. That's a hard choice. You've done it? You are an extremely brave boy, possibly the bravest I have seen. You are incredibly intelligent, my my. Hephaestus, correct? It makes sense. Now, oh. That's a bit dark, you have quite a dark side, quite a story to tell. Slytherin, perhaps? The bravest wizard I have ever known, second to you know, was a Slytherin. It would do you well?"

"Why are you asking me? I'm the idiot."

"You risked your life for your friends. That is idiotic but brave."

"Fine, I'd rather be Gryffindor."

"Then let it be, GRYFFINDOR!"

I swagger down the steps, sliding next to Piper, who is grinning ear to ear, and the rest of my new house, grinning and shouting insults at Slytherin table.

"Zhang, Frank."

The hat was placed, and again, it had decided before a conversation, yelling Gryffindor loud enough for anyone outside of the castle to hear.

Frank POV:

The red house exploded in cheers, shouts and taunts at the Slytherin table yelling that we also have four.

It seems to be, that us 'exchange students' are a new and fun competition for the students of Hogwarts.

Once all the first years were sorted, we turn, listening to the Headmasters longer speech, and then the food.

My god, the food. It was beautiful. The tables were filled with so much food, and so much beautiful, amazing food.

Leo's eyes nearly fell out of his head, as he scooped up all of the food within his grasp, stuffing it on his plate and then his mouth.

Halfway through the meal, there was a tap on my shoulder, and McGonagall was behind us.

"Meeting after dinner, wait for us and we will direct you to where we need you to meet us."

We all sat around a table, Percy's sliding in next to me, mumbling something about waking him up when he was needed, and then putting his head on the table, and falling asleep. Hazel sits on my other side, laying one leg over mine, laying her hand up on the table, waiting for me to hold it.

"This is so cool." She mumbled to me. I smile.

"This is really cool."

Then the teachers bustle in. All but Umbridge, the pink-toad like one sitting on the table that hummed when Annabeth was speaking to the school.

"Do you know what to do?" McGonagall asked. We all nod. "Please, enlighten us."

"Protect Potter," Annabeth said. The rest of the teacher's nod again. "Anything else?"

"Protect the students. Become friends with Potter, with his friends. We need to know about his movements, and what he is doing. We need to keep a very close eye on him, and make sure that he is going to live. We also need you to keep an eye on Umbridge…She worries me. I do not trust her, and I do not believe anyone trusts her. She was employed by the Ministry for us. I am not sure if we can trust her with Hogwart's secrets, including the secret of who you all really are."

Thank you for reading, sorry for it being short. The sorting was always going to be the shortest chapter.

First three reviewers get a sneek peak as always. But don't forget to follow n review, if you have an account or not :)
