I've been meaning to get this chapter out sooner so I'm sorry for the wait. I've had so much go on lately that's been stressful. But schools out for the summer so I'll have plenty of time to write!

Back at the hospital; Glenn, Rick, and Daryl were still trapped in the room they were in.
"What are we gonna do?" Daryl asked.
"I don't know. Maybe we should wait a little longer for them to leave." Rick said.
"Well we gotta get out soon. Everyone at the prison's vulnerable." Daryl said thinking about Carol, hoping she'd be safe.
"Glenn, have you thought of anything?" Rick said looking at the Asian.
"The only thing I can think of is to wait or go out and fight."
Daryl sat down, leaning against the wall. He started thinking about Carol and how he missed her. He wanted to get back to her and see their baby together. He just wanted to be by her side and protect her.
Back at the prison, Carol and Maggie ran towards the fence to see where the scream had came from. When they made it to the fence, they saw a man being attacked by walkers and a few other men running towards them, fighting off walkers as they made their way through them.
"Shit what do we do?" Maggie asked looking at Carol.
"Get a gun and defend the prison. I'll get Carl out here to help you. I have to get everyone safe inside." Carol said before running into the prison.
"Beth and Hershel, take Judith and hide in one of the cells!" She yelled while running past her.
"Carl! Someone's here and we need your help!" She said to the boy and they both ran outside.
When they got outside, about five men were shooting towards the prison. Maggie tossed Carol a rifle and they positioned themselves to fight.
"Are they with the governor?" Carol asked, looking at Maggie.
"I don't think so. They look to rough and dirty to be the governors men."
Carol's mind kept wondering to Daryl. Was he ok? Was he coming back to her? She could only hope. Then, she felt a sharp pain in her shoulder and cried out. Maggie rushed over to her and she just imagined Daryl's blue eyes and everything went black.
