(BEN's POV)

And so, Jeff made Girly cry. Again.

And no one knows why Jeff has such a grudge against her. She's such a sweet girl!

I mean, the guy's my best friend, but he can be such an ass sometimes.

I reached a hand up and pinched the bridge of my nose as I floated up to my bedroom.

Ugh, I wish he'd at least try to be a bit nicer. It's not like it'd hurt him. Hell, he might even make a friend.

Speaking of which, that Angel girl he keeps ranting about never hurt any of us. She even ran away when we confronted her. Girly was right, she's just making our jobs easier. Hell, we should be thanking her! The less work I have to do, the more time I can spend hanging out with-

A gentle knock on my window interrupted my thoughts.

Curious, I slowly floated over to my window, and drew back the curtains.

"A-Angel?!" I jumped back in surprise.

There she was, right outside my second story window, sheepishly waving at me.

"Uh, hi." I waved back, a grin tugging at my lips. "You here to kill us in our sleep?"

She shook her head furiously.

"Hah, I figured." I laughed, and looked back when she knocked on my window again.

She pointed into my room, and past me.

I turned my head to see the TV and games I had stolen years ago.

"Oh, you wanna play some Super Smash Brothers with me?" I asked, looking back at her.

Angel nodded then pointed to the lock on my window.

I unlocked it for her, and threw it open. Angel held up a finger, and flew away a few yards, stopping to gage the distance. In a flash, she dove through my window, opening up her large black wings to keep her from crashing into the opposite wall. Her feet lightly landed on the plush carpet, and her wings folded up until they were a black bulge on her back.

"Well, that's one way to make an entrance." I chuckled, sitting down next to her and handing her the second player controller.

On the character screen, she chose the cute Jigglepuff and gave it a red Hawaiian flower. I, on the other hand, chose the black Link. (I mean seriously, who else did you think I'd pick.)

I, being kind and gracious and gentlemanly, decided to go easy on the newcomer. I figured she had never played before and it would be embarrassing for her to be brutally demolished on her first play through.

Never. Have. I. Been. So. wrong.

She creamed me every game, in every map, with every item.

I though she chose her character because it was cute. WRONG. It was a strategic move! I never knew that a Pokemon could hold it's breath for so long. Every time I think I knock her off the map, she just flies back up and knocks me off the other side. And it could sing me to sleep! I was helpless as she beat my character up in it's slumber.

Her favorite item was obviously the Pokeball, no doubt about it. She'd even take several hits just to get it before me, which was nice, but she always managed to get the over powered Pokemon. And If I tried to get it before her, she'd run past it and beat me up so I'd back off!

And it wasn't like I didn't start trying either! After every game I'd boost the intensity, but she beat me just as much as she did when I wasn't trying! I was at the point of giving it my all, flying upside down, tongue sticking out, moving my fingers so fast I was afraid my controller would melt. And there she sat, sluggishly moving the joystick and pressing buttons! As if she were playing Farmville!

After my umpteenth time loosing, I decided it was time for a different strategy altogether.

Turning right side up, I inched closer and closer to Angel until our arms brushed together. At this, she jumped and I was able to get a few hits off of her before she recovered.

'Hah, maybe this will work.' I thought to myself, as Angel pulled her hood down to focus, but it was too dark to tell what color her hair was.

I waited a bit so she'd drop her guard again, then I leaned over gently brushing my lips against her newly exposed neck.

This time, she completely froze and dropped her controller, and in her scramble to retrieve it I knocked her down to one life with half health. Though she retaliated but elbowing me in the gut and nearly destroyed my last life.

'Time to finish this.'

By this time, Angel pulled up her mask so that a shadow covered the upper portion of her face, but not the lower half. I waited for the perfect opening, and it was when she jumped over me to get the Pokeball that had just spawned. In that moment, I attacked her, both in game, and in real life.

To distract her from the game, I slammed my lips against hers, kissing her forcibly. But soon the kiss softened, and the passion grew as the force dissipated. Game forgotten, she started to kiss me back, then froze and pushed me away, blushing fiercely.

She stood up suddenly, fixing her mask into place and pulling her hood up. She unfurled her wings and started for the window. Without thinking, I managed to grab her wrist right as she had hopped out. She turned and looked at me, her mask still showing her mouth, as she chewed her bottom lip.

"You-you'll be back, right?" My voice giving away the desperation I felt. I didn't want to have ruined what had just begun.

She stopped chewing her lip and gently smiled. She nodded softly, and gave me a quick peck on the cheek before sliding her mask all the way down.

As she flew away, a single feather floated down by my window. I was quick to reach out and grab it, and drew it closer to myself. Checking to make sure no one was watching, I brought it to my lips. It smelled of her, and I ginned loftily. It was then I knew that I had fallen in love with an Angel.
