Meeting Sherlock

Chapter 10

221b

Tsuna's POV

''So…Van Coon, at work late sees the cipher goes home and is murdered. Then, Brian Lukis, goes to the library, the killer puts the cipher where he or she knows Lukis would see it. Late that night, he winds up dead. Any possible reasons you can come up with?'' I say, while Sherlock and I look at the array of pictures of the ciphers and the bodies.

Sherlock looks at the picture of the bank cipher and lifts his hand to it, ''I don't know. Only the cipher can tell.''

Trafalgar Square (1)

Sherlock and I walk past a fountain and the bustling crowds of people. He is talking about how things are computer generated now. 'Has he really not realised I'm not paying any attent- wait what did he just say?'

''I'm sorry, did you just say you need 'some advice'?'' I ask him in disbelief.

Sherlock looks at me somewhat embarrassed, ''Yes, I need some advice on painting.''

'Lestrade ssssoooo owes me. Next time I see him I'm going to tell him of this moment and then let him listen to the voice recording of Sherlock saying ''I need some advice'' if he doesn't believe me.'

We walk into an alley where there was some guy spray painting. Sherlock goes over to talk to him then hands me his spray can. 'The little- I know exactly what he's playing at he's going to pin the blame on me. Luckily, I'm wearing shoes with shoe laces and lucky me they're loss.'

''Hey Sherlock hold this while I tie my laces again.'' I say passing the can to him which he chucks into the guy's bag. 'Why didn't I think of that? Hold on- I hear trouble coming round the corner.' I could hear someone coming so rather abruptly, I as I believe Londoners say, scarpered, leaving a confused Sherlock plus his graffiti pal behind.

I was drinking a cup of tea when Sherlock came in a little out of breath. He looked at me a little bit peeved.

''What's up with you?'' I ask, with a grin on my face.

''You ran off without warning me those officers were coming. I had to run all the way here because I couldn't risk getting a cab and them catching up with me.'' Sherlock replied, heatedly.

I look at him, ''Well, what would have happened is that you and your little friend would've been talking and the officers would have turned the corner and the pair of you would run off leaving me to bear the blame. Unfortunately, since I've had other things on my mind I didn't think to chuck the can in the bag, but if I didn't decided to re-tie my shoes then you'd have left me there.'' I ranted.

The dark haired man looks at me in disbelief, ''You cannot be serious, the worst that could of happened is that you'd get an ASBO. Besides, we could have asked Mycroft to see if he could pull any strings.''

''Except I'm not a British citizen. I'm here on a temporary basis, on holiday really. So I don't think it would end with an ASBO.'' I say to him, ''Anyway, the previous incident aside, I think we need to, quoting from a certain TV show, 'split up and look for clues'. You should head back to the bank and see if you can find out Van Coon's whereabouts in the round up to his death. While I'll head to Scotland Yard and do the same for Lukis, if they've been killed by the same killer then they must have gone to a common location at some point to link them.'' Then with that I grab my coat and head for the door, with a stunned Sherlock following behind me.

Time skip

I'd been to Scotland Yard and retrieved Lukis' diary and made my way to pizzeria (2) then someone bumped into me, it was Sherlock. He started to state the different places where Van Coon had been then said he went to somewhere near here. To which I stopped him and told him where we needed to go.

We entered a shop called 'The Lucky Cat', then we started to look around. The old lady behind the counter was trying to sell Sherlock something saying his girlfriend would like it. 'She better not mean me.'

I turn over a small cup and see the label at the bottom was the same as the cipher. I get Sherlock's attention then we leave the shop.

Apologises for any spelling/grammar mistakes I may have missed.

1 – I don't actually know where they are

2 - I also don't know the place Sherlock and John bump into each other
