[A/N] Yes, it's been a while, but here we go! It took me a few times to write this chapter, simply because I wasn't keen on how it sounded when I first wrote it, but I've edited it and changed it about so tell me what you think!

"My head," Kurt whimpered when he woke up the next morning. His opened one eye, but immediately shut it as the light hit him. Slowly, he fluttered his eyelids, attempting to get used to the light, and finally he was able to open his eyes. He glanced around the room he was in. Blaine's room. He'd been in here before, but he'd never slept here. He peered over at the bed side table, where the clock showed it was 10.37 AM. There was a glass of water and a few tablets next to clock with a sticky note next to them. Kurt picked it up and read it.

Good morning, gorgeous! Thought your head might be hurting after last night. Take these and come and find me, I'll make your breakfast. xxx

Kurt grinned at his boyfriend's ability to be the most adorable guy he'd ever met. He put the note back on the table and took the tablets, swigging the water back and finishing the glass. He reached up to his head, which was still pounding, and laid his cool fingers on it. He then slid out of bed and searched around for this suitcase, which he'd left there last night, in order to find something to wear. He noticed he was still in his clothes from last night, which was unsurprising as he didn't remember how he even got into bed. He'd have to ask Blaine about that later, and probably apologise.

Once dressed he rushed to the bathroom and washed his face, attempting to ignore the mirror completely. If he caught a glimpse of his reflection, there'd be no way he would leave the bathroom. After washing his face, leaving him feeling a little more refreshed, he shuffled into the kitchen, where Blaine was already stood by the coffee maker.

"Hey," he greeted, leaving the coffee machine to give Kurt a kiss on the cheek. "How you feeling?"

"Like an elephant has stamped on my head," Kurt groaned. "Thanks for the tablets, by the way. You're a hero."

"No problem at all. Want some coffee?" Blaine asked.

"Please," Kurt said. As Blaine went back to the coffee machine, a tiny pair of feet came stomping into the kitchen.

"Kurt's awake!" yelled Harmony from the door. Kurt winced at the noise.

"Harmy, shhhh, Kurt's got a bad headache," Blaine warned her, before turning to Kurt. "Laura dropped her back this morning. I managed to keep her from barging into the bedroom."

"What's wrong with your head?" Harmony whispered to Kurt.

"It's just hurting me a lot," Kurt replied, pulling Harmony onto his lap when she approached him. "It'll be better soon. Your dad is going to make me some coffee to make it feel better."

"Good," Harmony whispered, craning her neck to kiss Kurt's forehead. "Will that help?"

"It's feeling better already," Kurt said with a grin.

"Daddy said he's going to make pancakes. But we had to wait for you to wake up first," Harmony reported.

"You didn't have to wait for me to get up," Kurt told Blaine.

"It's okay, Laura gave her some cereal before she dropped her back anyway, so I'm sure she can wait," said Blaine.

"Aunt Laura gave me some grown-up cereal, but it wasn't very nice. And she had no Cocoa Flakes." Kurt listened as Harmony talked about the morning she'd had with her Aunt Laura. He smiled and nodded as she spoke and laughed in all the right places. Blaine watched his boyfriend as he listened to his daughter. Every time he watched Kurt, he was sure he fell a little more in love with him.

He placed a cup of coffee in front of Kurt, who thanked him abundantly and sipped his coffee, moaning at the taste. "I really needed that," he said.

"Can we have pancakes now?" Harmony asked

The day went quickly. Kurt's headache faded as he helped Harmony colour and then later helped Blaine make dinner. And the kisses they'd shared whilst doing the latter certainly helped him feel better. Later that night, they put Harmony to bed together, Harmony insisting Kurt read her a story because he did the voices well. Once she'd fallen asleep, which was only half way through the short story she'd asked Kurt to read, Kurt and Blaine sneaked out of the room and changed into their pyjamas so that they could cuddle on the sofa and watch a movie.

About half way through the movie, Kurt's eyes started drooping and his head fell from Blaine's shoulder to his collarbone. Blaine chuckled, running his fingers through his boyfriend's soft hair.

"Kurt? You're tired; why don't you go to bed?" he asked, as Kurt rubbed at his eyes with the heels of his hands.

"You're right," Kurt replied. "Besides, we have to be up early tomorrow. It's a big day for you, huh, Mr Best Man?"

"Yup, and I can't wait. Let me just go get the spare sheets from my room and then it's all yours." Blaine got up and shuffled into his bedroom, Kurt following shortly behind.

"I've been thinking about that actually," Kurt said, as Blaine began to to gather the sheets and pillows in his arms. "As comfortable as your couch is, I'm sure it's not the most comfiest thing to sleep on."

"I told you already I don't mind," Blaine began to protest.

"No, I know you don't. But I was thinking, why don't you sleep in the bed?"

"I'm not going to let you sleep on the couch," Blaine said.

"No, I meant, why don't you sleep in the bed with me?" Kurt clarified.

Blaine just stared at Kurt for a moment. "I thought you... we're not..."

"I don't mean for ... y'know, I just thought it's a double bed, it's big enough for the both of us, and if you want me to stay on my side all night I'm fine with that. We're both not ready for anything yet, but that doesn't mean I'd feel uncomfortable sleeping next to you," Kurt explained. "And if you do want to cuddle, I wouldn't oppose."

"I..." Blaine blinked, before placing the sheets back down. "Are you sure?"

"If you're okay with it, then I'm okay with it," said Kurt.

"I don't see why not then," Blaine smiled.

"Great!" Kurt said, returning the smile.

"I'm just going to go to the bathroom," Blaine said. "I'll be right back."

When Blaine returned from the bathroom, Kurt was already in bed, lying close to the right side of the bed and tapping at his phone. When Blaine entered, he smiled at him and quickly pressed the button to switch his phone off and put it on the night stand. Blaine climbed under the duvet, lying on his side so that he could see Kurt.

"Kurt?" he whispered.

"Yes, Blaine?" Kurt replied.

"You're about 3 feet away from me," he pointed out.

"I.. er-," Kurt began, but Blaine cut him off.

"I remember you mentioning something about cuddling. And that sounds really good to me," Blaine said. Kurt smiled at him, and shuffled close enough so that Blaine could lay his head on his chest and wrap an arm around his waist. Kurt reached above his head to pull the lead that switched the light off, and Kurt and Blaine were left in the darkness.

Blaine had never been so comfortable. He'd fallen asleep with Harmony a million times, but there was something about being held, feeling Kurt's arms wrapping him up tightly and holding him close, that made him feel safe and warm.

"Goodnight," Kurt whispered, placing a kiss on the top of Blaine's head.

"Goodnight," Blaine replied, and let his arms fall shut.

When Harmony woke up the next morning she was extremely excited. Her Uncle Coop was getting married and she was going to get to wear her special dress. It had been hanging in her daddy's wardrobe to keep it safe for ages, but now she was going to get to show it to everybody. Plus, Kurt said he'd do her hair to make it pretty, and she couldn't wait to see how it would look.

She kicked her legs up, her duvet falling away, and climbed out of bed. She ran into the living room to find her dad, but found the couch empty. Frowning, she made her way to the bathroom, wondering if he'd gotten up, but that too was empty; as was the kitchen. The only other place he could be was in his bedroom. She walked to the bedroom and pushed the door quietly.

Kurt and her daddy were in his bedroom, asleep, and cuddling together. Harmony frowned again; no one had told her they were having a sleepover or having cuddles. But then she remembered that Uncle Cooper and Aunt Lara always slept in the same bed and cuddled, so maybe it was something that grown-ups do with their boyfriends.

Nevertheless, it was time to wake up, so Harmony ran forwards towards the bed and climbed up quickly, wriggling her way to the middle of the sleeping couple so that both of their arms were wrapped around her.

"Mmm, Harmy?" Blaine asked, half asleep.

"Morning, daddy," she whispered, remembering what he'd said yesterday about it being rude to be loud when people were still sleeping.

Kurt shuffled a little, his arms readjusting to fit Harmony and his eyes fluttering open. He smiled when he saw Harmony. "Good morning, Harmony," he said. "What are you doing up?"

"I woke up and went to find daddy, but he was cuddling with you so I thought I'd come and cuddle to before we have breakfast," she explained.

"That's a lovely idea," Kurt replied. "What time is it?"

Harmony peeked over at the night stand where the clock was and read out "Oh seven three two."

Kurt looked over at Blaine, who had rolled over and fallen back to sleep. "Hey, beings as it's a little earlier than we planned to get up, how about me and you make your daddy breakfast and bring it to him?"

Harmony nodded eagerly, and slowly crawled out of bed attempting not to jostle her father. Kurt did the same and together, hand in hand, they made their way to the kitchen. Together they decided they'd make omelettes, Harmony telling Kurt that Blaine liked them with ham and cheese in them. Kurt showed her how he made them, taking her through each step and even letting her help with some parts. "

"Kurt?" Harmony asked quietly.

"Yes, honey?"

"You know how Uncle Cooper and Aunt Lara are getting married because they love each other a lot?" she began.

"Yeah," said Kurt.

"Do you love my daddy like Uncle Cooper and Aunt Lara love each other?"

Kurt turned, his cheeks reddening slightly, although he was unsure of why considering the question came from a 6 year old. "Harmony, if I tell you a secret, will you promise that it's just between me and you for now?" Harmony nodded eagerly and Kurt beckoned her over so that he could lean down and whisper in her ear. "I love your daddy. A lot." He was greeted with a grin from Harmony.

"Does this mean you're going to marry him one day?" she whispered.

"I don't know, maybe. I just know that I love him, and I love you, and I would love to be in your lives forever," Kurt said. Harmony wrapped her arms around Kurt's waist, pulling him to her tightly in a hug.

"I love you too, Kurt. I hope that one day you and daddy get married, and then you can be like my daddy too."

Blaine had loved his breakfast and had given both Kurt and Harmony a big kiss in thanks. They'd all eaten together under the duvet on the bed, before they had to get up in order to shower. Kurt went first and then Harmony, giving Kurt time to do Harmony's hair whilst Blaine was showering. As he soon found out, getting an excitable six year old ready was a lot more difficult that he'd think, but he managed to get her to stop wriggling whilst he had the curlers in his hand. Once her hair was finished, he sprayed a cloud of hairspray over the finished product and then presented Harmony with a mirror so that she could see the finished product.

"Wow," she said, her hands hovering above the curls, as if afraid to touch them. "Thank you, Kurt, it looks so pretty. Daddy!"

Blaine came in, his hair still slightly damp and wearing his trousers and undershirt. "Oh hello there, what's your name madame?" he asked, holding a hand out to Harmony. "Have you seen my daughter?"

Harmony giggled. "Daddy, it's me!"

"Oh really? You look way too grown up to be my daughter," he said, lifting her into his arms. She continued to giggle at him and then gave him a kiss on the cheek.

"Your face is really soft," she commented.

"That's because I shaved," he explained. "So I'm not all stubbly now. Now, can I trust you to go and get your dress? Don't put it on yet, just bring it here, okay?"

"Okay!" Harmony replied. Blaine let her down and she whizzed out of the room and to Blaine's room.

"I was quite liking the stubble," Kurt said, running his hand down Blaine's cheek. "But I suppose the clean shaven look it more appropriate." Blaine smiled at him and leaned forward to place a kiss on his lips. "And it makes that a little less scratchy," Kurt continued against his lips, before deepening the kiss slightly.

"I've really liked this morning," Blaine said. "I've liked you being here."

"And I've liked being here," Kurt said. "Are you nervous for today?"

"Just a smidge.." Blaine said. Kurt raised his eyebrows at him. "Okay, maybe a lot. What if no one likes my speech? What if I do something wrong?"

"That is not going to happen. And even if it does, it doesn't matter because Cooper will love you no matter what, okay?" Kurt insisted.

"Okay." There was a brief pause as Blaine smiled at his boyfriend, before his face dropped once more. "Oh my God, I can't believe I forgot to ask. Are you okay? You're going to be meeting my family and friends and I didn't even stop to ask if you're okay with that!"

"Blaine, honey, calm down. I'm a little nervous, yes, but I know that if all goes wrong I will still have you... I hope..." Kurt trailed off.

"Of course you will. I will always be here for you," Blaine replied. He raised his chin upwards, attempting to bring their lips together in a reassuring kiss, but Harmony came running in, clutching her dress with an eager grin on her face.

"Daddy, Kurt, I go it!" she exclaimed, carefully laying it on her bed.

"Right then," Blaine said. Let's get ready.

Before they knew it, they were at the wedding, Kurt clutching Blaine's hand tightly and Harmony hanging off his other hand.

"They've done so well with the decor on such short notice," Kurt murmured into Blaine's ear, his eyes bouncing from the various flower decorations, neatly placed around the room.

"Lara is a little excitable when it comes to decor," Blaine responded.

"GRANDMA!" Harmony suddenly bellowed, letting go of Kurt's hand and rushing forwards to a woman, dressed in a lilac dress with a white fascinator. As soon as she saw Harmony running towards her she bent her knees slightly and opened out her arms, allowing the little girl to run straight into them.

"Harmony, honey, don't you look beautiful! Did daddy do your hair? It looks gorgeous!" she praised.

"No, Kurt did it. Daddy said I look like a grown up!" Harmony replied.

"You do, honey." The woman smiled before lifting her head to see her son. "Blaine, sweetheart, you look so handsome!" she greeted, wrapping her arms around her son. "And you must be Kurt, we've heard so much about you!" she said, turning to Kurt once she'd finished greeting Blaine and wrapping him in an equally tight hug. "I'm Lydia, Blaine's mother."

"It's very nice to meet you, ma'am," Kurt replied.

"None of that ma'am stuff, it's Lydia," Blaine's mother insisted. "Your father's around here somewhere, Blaine. You know how he likes to wander."

Harmony and Blaine took it in turns to introduce Kurt to the family and friends present. Kurt got a firm handshake from Blaine's father and many hugs from cousins. Everyone seemed to like Kurt. Even Blaine's Aunt Kathryn, who hadn't been colder with Blaine since he came out all those years ago, complimented Kurt on his suit and had a short conversation about the flower arrangements Kurt had admired on his way in.

The wedding was a beautiful ceremony. Cooper looked dapper and smart, Lara looked beautiful, and when they were announced husband and wife there wasn't a dry eye in the room. The ceremony flowed into the reception smoothly, and soon Blaine was standing, his glass raised as he tapped his fork gently against it.

"Erm, hey, everyone. First off, I'd like to say thank you on behalf of my brother and his beautiful wife for coming today. I know that it means to world to him to share this day with his closest friends and family." Blaine cleared his throat before continuing. "When we were little, Cooper was my hero. It helped that he was 8 years older than me and 2 ft taller, but I wanted to be like him when I grew up. I would follow him everywhere, wear the same clothes as him, eat the same food, watch the same TV, like the same things. He was always supportive, but when I started stealing his clothes he got a little suspicious and sat me down to talk.

"I remember, he asked me why I was taking his things and I told him that it was because I was being like him. When he asked me why I simply said 'because you're my brother'. He told me that I don't have to do what he does just because he's my brother and I said, 'well, if you're not there for me to copy, then what are you there for?' He laughed at me, and replied 'a big brother is there to help you become you. They can help you find out what you like and who you are, but you shouldn't feel like you have to become them. I'm not here for you to copy - we don't want any more Cooper's running around - I'm just here to be there for you, to help you decide what's right and stand by you when you make mistakes.' That speech has stuck with me all this time. Partly because he threw me in the pool a few minutes after and I hit my head so hard that I got my first nose bleed, but mostly because he's never gone against that.

"I may have not done some thing properly, I may have made mistakes, and I may have had times where I just wanted to give up, but Coop was always there for me. To help me, to guide me, even if it was on the end of the phone. I may not have followed all of my dreams, but I know that, thanks to Cooper, I've made the right decisions. So I'd like to thank Cooper, the best big brother a guy could possibly have. And I'd also like the thank Lara. Ever since you and Cooper have been together, I know that he's been happier. You're a wonderful person and I can't think of anyone who could possibly become a better sister-in-law.

"Now, I'm going to shut up now and let the big guys talk, but first I'd like to raise a toast to Cooper and Lara. May you have a long, healthy, happy marriage." Blaine raised his glass of non-alcoholic champagne, grinning at his brother and sister-in-law as the crowd repeated 'To Cooper and Lara'.

Cooper winked at Blaine and mouthed 'good job'. Blaine quickly glanced to his side where his boyfriend and daughter sat, both grinning up at him. He could only hope that one day it would be Cooper in his place, toasting he and Kurt at their own wedding.
