Percy POV

I was smiling giddily to myself. She said yes, she actually said yes. I floated our bubbled up to the surface and let it pop. Thalia started swimming back to the dock and I followed her. I reached the dock as she did and we pulled ourselves up out of the water at the same time. The air had gotten cooler, and the sun was low in the sky.

"Uh…" she started "where is our stuff?" she asked. I looked around and saw that our clothes and towels were gone.

"Someone must have taken them. We were down there for a while." I replied. She stared at me, and then blinked.

"I have to walk through camp like this?" she asked.

"I guess." I replied smartly. She rolled her eyes at me. I stood up and held out my hand. "It cant be that bad, I promise." I finished with a reassuring smile. She looked up towards me and with a sigh took my hand and stood up. I let go of her hand and put an arm around her shoulder and pulled her close.

"The swimsuit looks good on you, though." I said with a smirk.

"Don't make me electrocute you Kelp Head." She replied quickly. I smiled

"You're always pretty Thals." I said as we started our walk back to our cabin.

"I hate you" Was her reply.

*Line Break*

We arrived back at the cabin without seeing anyone, which resulted in no sudden executions by the girl at my side, and caused her mood to lighten up a little.

"I don't want to go to school Monday." I whined, dragging out the 'y', which wasn't helping her mood. It was Friday, and spring break ended today. School started Monday, meaning we would have to head back to my mom's.

"Me neither, but I guess we have to huh?" she replied. I walked to the bathroom and grabbed two towels and threw one at Thalia, then proceeded to dry myself off. I prefer to do it the old fashion way, rather than use my power over water. I finished drying off and walked out of the bathroom as Thalia barged in with clothes of her own. I changed into some real clothes, shorts and a camp shirt, and called out to Thalia.

"You want to head to moms tonight?"

"Yeah, let me pack up. Go tell Chiron." She replied. I walked out of the cabin and headed to the Big House. Chiron was sitting on the porch.

"Hey Chiron, uh, I got a question for you." I started

"What is it my boy?" as his response.

"Thalia and I were wondering if we could leave like, nowish, instead of tomorrow morning." I stated.

"That's fine I suppose. Just stay safe Percy, and keep Thalia safe." He replied.

"Let me know if you need anything. Take care." I said as I turned around and headed back to the cabin. I opened the door to see Thalia putting things in a backpack with her back to me. I walked up behind her and snaked my arms around her waist, and rested my chin on her shoulder.

"Hey." I said. "Almost ready?"

"Yeah. How about you Kelp Head?"

"I… uh… haven't started yet." I replied.

"Get to it." She retorted simply. I sighed and unwrapped my arms and started packing up. I made sure to have some emergency drachmas, ambrosia, and nectar.

"Hey Percy?" I heard her call out. "You mind if I drive?" she asked, and I thought for a second.

"Nah, you can I suppose." I replied. She had never driven my car before, what's the worst that could happen? I slung my backpack over my shoulder and looked at her. She was wearing black jeans with her black combat books, and a blue shirt with a skeleton printed on it. She spiked her hair up, but didn't throw any makeup on, it was late enough and we weren't doing anything exciting. I smiled and she smiled back.

"I'm ready to go now." She said as she walked towards the door. I caught up to her and took her hand, and we made our way to my car. The sun had disappeared by the time I unlocked the car. We threw our stuff in the back and I got in the passenger seat as she got in the driver seat, and we drove home.

I opened the door to the apartment and walked inside. We had arrived intact, no drama. Thals walked in behind me and I shut the door after her. I kicked off my shoes, took off my backpack, and grabbed Thalia's and led her to the couch, and proceeded to flop down onto it, then gave a gentle tug and brought Thalia with me. I lay on my back, but not before wrapping my arms tightly around her. I smiled and yawned as I closed my eyes.

"I'm tired." I said simply. She struggled in my arms and I opened my eyes.

"Let me up for a minute." She said, and once she saw my expression, she added "I'll come back, I promise." I let her go with a sad expression on my face. She got up, took her backpack over to our room, walked back, and proceeded to take off her shoes and socks. Eventually, she carefully crawled back on top of me and wrapped her arms around my neck. I smiled and wrapped my arms around her again before closing my eyes.

"Hi." I said.

"Hey." She replied with a chuckle. I felt her rest her chin on my chest, and I responded by kissing her forehead.

"Is that the best you got?" she asked. I chuckled and opened my eyes, and planted a kiss on her lips to which she returned.

"Better?" I asked. She smiled and nodded.

"Better Kelp Head. Night." She said as she rested her head on my chest, using me as a pillow yet again. I looked out the window, it had gotten pretty dark, but light shown in from the street. I closed my eyes again.

"Love you Thals." I said

"I love you too." She replied tiredly.

"Well, I love you more."

"Pffft. You wish" Was her reply. I smiled; there was no place I'd rather be.
