Chapter 8 - Homearest
I started to fuss in bed and all of a sudden, I jumped in a sitting position on my bed. Last day coming crashing back to my head. The cinema, flyers and of course Joshua. SHIT ! I know he is right, there is something between us. Some kind of pull. Then I remembered, someone came in to my room last night, when I had fallen asleep. I looked to my left and saw no one. Weird, I swear some one spooned me last night. I had to be Joshua, I felt that it was him but now there was no one there. The place next to me was cold and the bed was done. Like no one had never laid there.
I sighed and stood up from the bed. I guess I imagined Joshua last night, but I swear it felt so so real. I walked to my bathroom and looked myself in the mirror. Ohh god I look horrible, my hair is all messed up and I swear I have dried saliva tracks going down my chin. Thank god that Joshua was not here to see that. I shiverd at that thought and took off my clothes. I stepped under a shower, I washed myself thoroughly. I stepped out, dried and wrapped the towel around me.
"Ahh cheesh, I forgot clothes..." I cursed outloud.
"Why is it soooo freaking cold in this house..." I walked out of the bathroom to my room while I was mumbling by myself.
"MORNING SUNSHINE !" Alyssa screamed on my bed. I jumped and screamed and almost dropped my towel.
"What da heck, ALYSSA ! You scared the crap out of me !" I screamed at her. I stamped angrily to my closet.
I picked out black lace bra and pantie set and put them on. Then I pulled on my red Aerosmith T-shirt that I had cut to make the neck line bigger so it would fall over one of my shoulder and lastly I pulled on my short dark blue denim shorts. I turned around and screamed. Alyssa was standing on the door and looking at me.
"Ohh god, you really are trying to kill me, aren't you ?" I said while walking pass her to my room.
"Sorry, I really am not trying to do that. I just move quietly, familty thing." she said smiling.
It felt like that sentence had a double meaning. Shit she scared me good.
"Okay, okay and good morning to you too." I answered her. "So do who I own the 'pleasure' to seeing you so early in the morning... in my room... screaming ?" I asked her smiling. She narrowed her eyes at me and I swear I saw yellow flash in them. Holy shit, she is creepy when she is angry.
"I know you love me, K...Don't be mean to me." she said and pouted her lips after a while of stairing me.
" I was only kidding Alyssa...So tell me what brings you here ?"
"Ohh yeah, about that, Joshua and Mike are waiting for you downstairs, we all have to talk. And I kinda came to check on you, how you are..." she said
"I am fine Ally, no need to worry. What do we have to talk about ?" I asked curiously.
"Are you sure, that you are OK ?" she pushed.
"Yes, yes, I am sure, now tell me, what do we have to talk about ?"
"About yesterday, about the flyers and about the fact that you are a missing person, Kady."
"Ohh thaaat...there is nothing to talk about actually...I ran from home and they are looking for me." I said sollowing hard.
"We need to talk what we ALL will do about it, K. It is not that simple. If police finds out you are here, we all are in big trouble and so are you. Now come, let's go downstairs to the living room." she said while she took my hand and pulled me behind her down the stairs again. God damn her !
"Good morning sleepyhead !" Mike screamed in a high picthed voice and took me in a bear hug. God those two are like twins...oh wait...ewww, very wrong thing to think about.
"Good morning Mike and Good morning Joshua. And for the record it is only 10 am, I am no sleepyhead, it not my fault you don't like sleeping in and you all like to wake up before the sunrise." I said while I slipped out of Mikes hug, showed him my tongue and after that I turned around to watch exacly in Joshua's eyes, who was standing all this time right behind me,
"Good morning, Love." he said with a fire in his eyes.
"OOOkay so now that everyone has had their good morning, lets start with business." Ally said in serious voice and clearing her voice.
"Yeah, you are right for once, Alyssa." Joshua said and I promise I heard Ally growl. WTF. Joshua's eyes flashed to her and she stopped immetiately.
"Everybody let's just sit down and discuss the situation." Joshua said formally. I felt like I was a little kid who did something bad and now is in a really big trouble and getting spanked by her parents...Hmm Joshua spanking me...a girl can dream...Joshuas ass...
"So, Kady...We were talking last night and this morning...and we all agreed that maybe it is the best if you would stay in the house, until this all blows over." Joshua stared at me and I snapped right out of my daydream.
My cheecks flamed. Ohh god did I just really thought about Joshua's ass...Why are everybody staring me, they look me like I have grown two heads. My cheeck still burning and still confused I asked: " Why are you all looking at me that way ?"
"Umm Kady...you just spaced out like for five minutes and Joshua kinda told you something and we all are waiting for your answer..." Alyssa looked at me with confused as fuck look.
"Ohh god sorry...Joshua sorry can you please repeat that ?" I said smiling sweetly.
He stood up and moved in front of me and kneeled in front of my legs. He put both of his hands on my thights and looked deep in my eyes and said: "It's okay, Sweety, I told you that we all think, that it would be the best for all of us, if you would lay low for a while as in you would stay in the house." I just stared at him. What ? What are they talking about ? The wanna put me in the fucking housearest ? Over my dead body ! Hell no ! I flet how my anger was rising and there was no stopping it. I was pissed, How dare they ? They didn't even ask me what I thought !
"Honey, say something." Joshua whispered.
"N-no...No. NO ! NOO! " I started with barely a whisper but ended up screaming at them. I stood up and pushed Joshua away, who had gotten up with me too,
"K, listen to us, please..." Alyssa tried to reason with me,
"No Alyssa, NO ! You all just can't keep me locked up in the house !" I said back, louder than I probable should have said.
"Okay, K, we understand you, try to calm down, no need to yell at Alyssa" Mike spoke up.
"It's fine, Mike." Alyssa smiled at Mike and walked in front of him. By now we all were standing in front of the fireplace in a circle. Alyssa continued: " And it's okay, K, I unterstand you but it would be for only a few days. We take care of the flyers and make sure we all are safe."
"I am sorry but his is crazy ! No one will reconize me ! This too much ! Please ! Please don't make me !" I fought back, tears in my eyes.
"Hey, hey...Love, calm down, we are not going to keep you all locked up here, okay ? It's just for few days, like Aly said. " Joshua said while stepping closer to me and smiling sweetly at me.
" You don't get it ! I can't even stand to be locked up for one day ! I just can't ! I spent last five years of my life, sitting in my room while everybody else played outside, went out to cinema, went to readtrips with friends and on dates ! It's my last chance to do them myself...It's my last chance..." I was hyperventilating by the time I finished my rant. I started caughing so bad that I couldn't even breath anymore. I put my hand in front of my mouth and caughed again and when I removed my hands I saw red dots on them. Blood... I felt how my vision went blurry and my leg gave out under me.
"OMG KADY ! " I heared Alyssa scream.
"Love, can you hear me ! Say something ! BABY !" Joshua was kneeling and holding my head in his lap. I coudn't say anything, like my angel wished I would would do.
"OMG is that blood on her hands ?" Alyssa said in horror.
I didn't hear anything else what they said after that. The only thing felt was pain and that someone lifted me up from the floor to his arms and I knew it was my dark angel, And then the darkness consumed me.
