A/N: Last chapter everyone! Whew, I bet a lot of you guys are happy with the fast update. Lucy Queen of the Stars- I agree with you on that. I never really thought of the dragon ever liking the princess until I read Fairy Tail. I love it more though that they brought that concept into a story entitled Fairy Tail.

The building she had grown up in all her life was in shambles.
Deciding it was best to leave her alone to grieve her friends left the weeping girl. She cried her heart out into the unmoving male's chest wishing that she could join him wherever he had gone to.
"L-Lucy?" Upon hearing her name from the cat she held back her tears. "Y-yes Happy?" her voice sounded so raw and foreign to her. A pair of small arms encircled around her waist wetting the fabric of her once beautiful ivory dress that was now stained in crimson.
'He can't die on me… he just can't!'
Memories flashed behind closed eyes of the grinning pink haired boy making her heart sink.
"I'm your Husband."
"I got a whole evening planned for us just you wait and see Luce!"
"Don't mention it. You are my wife after all, right?"
"I've missed you too, weirdo."
"Are you just going to sit there and grieve or are you going to step aside and let me do my job?" Lucy's head snapped up, turning around she was met with an elder woman. The woman had a thin line plastered on her face staring down at the two with her mahogany red eyes, her hair a dull shade of pink secured tightly into a bun adorned by two golden pins.
"W-who are you?"
"Porlyuscia. Now move human!" Doing as she was told Lucy made room for the older woman watching as she reached into her knapsack pulling out a small vial.
"What's that?"
"This is what will save him." At hearing this Happy and Lucy's faces lit up. "Y-you mean you can save him? Oh thank you so much scary-lady!" the blue cat cried clutching the elder mage's cloak ignoring her protests to get off.
"You humans are all alike, thinking that fighting is the answer to all your problems… I didn't come here today for you or him." Porlyuscia said as she poured the liquid down Natsu's throat.
'But isn't she a human too?' They wondered.
"Then what did you come here for?"
The woman was silent for a moment or two, "…I owed someone a favor we'll leave at that."

"You insolent little pests! Do you realize what you have done? My home is in shambles, my daughter is unwed and now…"
All of Fairy Tail watched as the dark blonde man continued to yell. As much as they all wanted to pound some sense into the man who was fuming at them for destroying what was a 'lovely' marriage.
"You're right we had no business being here at all…" Makarov finally spoke.
"Master…"
"Trespassed your property, damaged half the Heartfilia estate, used unnecessary force, and pissed off one of the wealthiest men in all of Earth land." He listed causing all the members to stare at their master in shock.
"However… every member here in Fairy Tail is a part of our family, and we will never turn our backs on family."
Jude Heartfilia stared in shock at the obnoxious guild member's hollering with cheer at their beloved master's speech. He took a second to re-compose himself, clearing his throat before he spoke.
"I will have your guild charged and disbanded for destroying what was my entire wealth on the –"
"—Papa?"
"L-Lucy! I thought you were with your husband upstairs taking care of him?"
"She was…" His eyes turned to face the grinning fire mage holding Lucy for support. A flash of rage shown in the taller male's eyes.
"YOU! You're the cause of all this! You kidnapped my daughter into being a slave for your sick needs and now you're here to hold her ransom? Well, you can just forget about it because you're not getting a single jewel from me."
"Listen here—" Natsu was cut off from speaking any further, finding Lucy's hand covering his mouth.
"Papa, these people are my friends, they were just trying to protect me." She explained, "I was never in love with Dan, he was just using me for money. This is the man I love."
Her father's eyes widened at the injured man besides her darting his eyes back and forth between the two, he was at a loss for words. Lucy helped Natsu down the steps handing him off to Mirajane to care for while she approached her father's unmoving figure.
"N-no… I won't allow this… do you know how much I sacrificed?!" She winced at the high octave of his voice.
"All my life I was raised to be some princess. That I was above everyone else because my family had money." Lucy spoke meeting her Father's heated gaze. "…and for a while there, I believed it. I was never happy Papa. I hated it. The dresses, parties, even those damn lessons—everything!"
"Starting now I'm making amends for all the horrible things I've done… With the support of my friends." She finished, casting a quick glance at a stunned Natsu.
"You would leave all of this behind all for him? ...then you're no longer a Heartfilia."

"Papa—"
"—You didn't let me finish. You're no longer a Heartfilia… you're a Dragneel." He smiled at his daughter as she gave a squeal of joy embracing her Father warmly. 'Layla… our daughter certainly has grown up hasn't she? I was so blinded by wealth that I could not see what the price for power had cost me, but my own daughter's love.'
"Come on let's celebrate!"

After the fight was over everyone had decided to head back to Fairy Tail to party. Guests that were still around even decided to stick around with the rambunctious crowd, cheering and hollering with laughter. Even her Father had joined in, sharing a few drinks with the master. It seemed like all was right with the world…
"Hey,"
Recognizing the voice immediately, Lucy turned to face the bandaged Natsu, as a soft smile was placed on her lips.
"Hey,"
"I didn't know you were a wizard." He teased grinning ear to ear at her flushed complexion. "W-well… that is… I uh…"
"Forget it. I'm just glad you're back." 'With me,' he wanted so desperately to say. The blonde girl felt her heart skip a beat at his words, before pulling him into a tight embrace. Natsu was filled with surprise at first until he found his arms already around her waist pulling her to him closer as if she was his lifeline keeping him attached to this world. He Rested his chin on her head, relaxing as her sweet scent calmed him until he heard her mumble something against his chest.
"What was that?"
"I said "I love you" dummy."
There was a pregnant pause, before the dragon slayer erupted with anger at her insult, sending her into a fit of laughter with him laughing alongside her.
"I love you, Lucy."
"I love you too, Natsu." They stared in each other's eyes as gravity slowly pulled them into a tender kiss.
"She liiiiiiiiiikes you~" Happy giggled behind his paws at the two blushing teens who quickly broke apart from each other.
"You're right about that Happy," His foster-father grinned tugging at the blonde's waist, bringing her closer to him.

"You know all of this got me thinking…" Natsu said, rubbing his imaginary beard in contemplation.
"Are you sure you're okay?" Lucy teased chuckling at his pouting expression.
"It got me thinking that you pretty much had everything in the world… and I can't be able to buy you all of those nice things…"
"Natsu…"
"So what could I get you that you don't already have?" She was slightly taken aback. He watched as her face scrunched, pondering this question.
"Well… there is always one thing I wanted…" her voice trailing off as he leaned in closer her answer.
"…a baby."
Lucy yelped as the fire dragon slayer lifted her up from underneath her arms spinning her around before pulling her down for a passionate kiss. They were both head over heels in love with one another, both worlds apart yet had found love through strange circumstances.
It can be said that they had fallen… fallen deeply madly in love.
