They knell down beside me,and they talk to me for a few minutes.
Johnny says,"Sarah sweetheart what happened here?"
I respond,"I was playing soccer,and I got pushed down,and then I started getting hit."
"Are you in any pain?"
"Yes,my back hurts,and my chest hurts to."
"When you fell did you hit your head?"
"Yes,my head hurts to."
"Just lay still,and we will take care of you."
"Ok."
We finish up our conversation,and Johnny examines me. He checks my vital signs. Roy gets on the bio phone,and he calls into Rampart General hopsital.
Roy says,"Rampart this is rescue squad 51 calling. Come in Rampart."
Dr. Brackett responds,"Go ahead 51."
"We have a three year old female she's complaining of back pain chest pain,and when she fell she hit her head."
"What are her vital signs 51?"
"Blood pressure 80/30,pulse rate 40,respirations are slow,and shallow at 10. She is having some difficulty breathing Rampart."
"Immobilize her head,and her neck. Start her on 10 liters per minute of oxygen,and give her an Iv D5W with lactated ringers. Give her 10 millgrams Ms Iv,and transport immediately 51."
"10-4,Rampart."
They finish up their conversation,and they immobilize my head,and neck. They place me on a backboard,and they start me on 10 liters per minute of oxygen.
They give me an Iv D5W with lactated ringers,and they give me 10 millgrams Ms Iv. They get me ready to be transported to the hospital. Teacher Amanda gives Johnny my backpack full of all of my school supplies.
An ambulance arrives,and the back doors of the ambulance get opened up. They get me into the ambulance,and Johnny gets into the ambulance with me. The ambulance doors get closed,and the ambulance starts on it's way to the hospital.
Roy packs up the equipment that was used,and he puts it back away in the truck. He gets into the truck,and he drives it to the hospital.
