The next morning came and everybody started to walk into the dining room for breakfast.

"Musketeers." Captain Redford announced when he walked into the room. All the dwarfs filed into a line quickly as the Captain towered over tehm. "Nothing last night I suppose."
"We didn't see anything." Doc said.
"Good. Because remember if a certain person slipped passed you that you wouldn't suspect that is bad Snow White wouldn't be up this morning. And if you ever did see..."

Mabel snuck into the dining room and took out the parcel of powder. Captain Redford was only going to give her a certain amount of time as he kept on making the speech to the dwarfs. As much as she wanted to get caught she didn't want to do that, knowing she'd spend the rest of her life in jail.

She dropped the little particles into the glass where Snow White would sit and watched them vanish.

"Well enough of all this chatter why don't we go eat breakfast." The Queen announced while walking in with Snow White next to her.
"We shall continue this chat later." Captain Redford said to the dwarfs.
"Can't wait." Grumpy sarcastically said to Doc who nudged his brother.

Mabel put the plastic in her dress pocket and started to smooth out the cloth so nobody would suspect anything as they all walked into the room.
"Mabel what happened to you last night?" Grumpty asked.
"What do you mean?" Mabel asked.
"When your were leaving I thought I heard you scream."
"Oh uh... I saw a rat. Yes a rat. I hate them so much and I ran to get away from it."
"I must remind you that there are no visitors while we're on duty." Captain Redford said eying towards Grumpy. All Grumpy did was snuff towards him.

Before he could offer Mabel a chair. Redford already pushed her in. "Here my darling. Let me get that seat for you." And then he sat down in the chair next to her. Grump's face grew red as he pulled out another chair.

"Oh I can't wait for the prince to come home tomorrow." Snow White said to the queen.
"Neither can I. Ever since he was a little boy he always went with his father on what they called adventures."
"I'm sure they were fun."

Mabel watched as Snow White picked up her glass and took a drink. She prepared herself for the worst to come, but nothing happened. Captain Redford was also watching and peared at Mabel. She nodded trying to say that she put it into the drink.

"And when his father died he went off on adventures to carry on the tradition." The Queen continued.
"He's a really brave man."
"Of course... " The Queen sipped her drink. Mabel's heart stared racing when she realized that she poured te poison into the wrong glass.

"... My little O... "

The Queen stopped, suddenly turning pale and having her time trying to catch her breath.
"Your highness are you alright?" Snow White asked when suddenly the queen fell to the floor. Snow White screamed and Captain Redofrd rushed over. Everyone gathered around in a circle waiting for the verdict. "What's wrong with her?"

Captain Redford grabbed the drink and smelled it.
"Poison."
They all gasped and Snow White began to cry. Mabel too had tears in her eyes at what she did. She never killed someone before. In the past she had to unncover where someone was hiding out and Captain redford would handle it from there, but this time was different. But at least it wasn't Snow White as she tried to comfort her.

"Musketeers! Fall in!" He screamed making the dwarfs do as they were told. "Did anybody happen to sneak passed you either last night or this morning?"

The dwarfs looked at each other. None of them saw anybody, but someone could have snuck past.

"N-No sir we didn't." Doc stuttered.

"Are you sure because sometimes it's hard for you all just to look up and strain your neck just to see a person who's taller then you."
"Captain Pete please don't blame..." Snow White tried to speak through her tears.
"Don't interrupt! You know one of these people here might be an intruder who poisoned the poor queen here. Someone you'd never expect. It could have been Hillary!" Redford said pointing to Snow White second lady in waiting.
"Are you saying that I did such a thing?!"
"She'd never..." Snow white began to say.
"Or you might not be the princess..."
"I am the princess!"
"It could have been anybody is this room who is on the other side. Maybe one of you dwarfs!"

The dwarfs all look at each other. Each shook their head vigorously.
"Was it you Captain?" Grumpy asked.
"Oh why good heavens no! I'm to trust not to distrust. A musketeer captain is a person that a person should never suspect. That's why I requested taller musketeers with better eye sight.
"Well just you..."
"Grumpy..." Doc warned.
"Keep better watch from now on or I will not request you as royal musketeers."

The Captain requested for Hillary to take Snow White back to her room and other guards too care of the queen's body.
"Mabel, come with me." He spoke to her.
"Yes sir." Mabel said, knowing what was coming to her.
"Get to your posts!" He yelled at them once he disppeared.
"I suspect him." Grumpy said to the dwarfs once they were alone.
"Don't be paranoid."

Why didn't the dwarfs ever believe what he said? Captain Redford clearly didn't suspect himself. He almost acted as he if he knew what was going on. He was going to keep a closer eye on Redford to make sure that he wasn't behind everything.
