-He'd told a few Spiritwalkers to keep an eye open for Veliana, in case she'd gotten lost- though it was more likely that she was trapped somewhere or dead- though he was praying to Mother Nature that the latter two were not the case.
He was shaken from his thoughts at the sound of the great workshop doors opening wide. North, standing in the entry way, grabbed Gale by the collar of his shirt and dragged him inside before slamming the doors closed. Gale flailed, squawking with indignation as he was pulled away from the doors. He was marched down a long corridor, passing numerous doors- all made of the same dark oak, some ajar, most closed. Stopping before one on the left side near the end of the corridor, where it made a sharp left, North turned to face him.
"There's someone you need to see."
"I think you need to work on your English, Norden. It's something, not someone," Gale corrected, earning a light glare from the taller, heavier immortal being.
"No, I do mean someone. You need to learn to watch your manners." Swiftly, almost angrily, North's thick finger wrapped around the dull brass doorknob and yanked the door open. He roughly pushed the liaison through the doorway, following him inside. "Oh, and my English is better than yours." Gale glared before his attention turned from the Guardian of wonder to the room he now stood in, and felt his blood run cold.-
What Would Have Been: Chapter 8
I've written the next two chapters. UNFORTUNATELY! Chapter 8 doesn't make much sense and it's tOO SOON FOR CERTAIN CHARACTERS and chapter 9 was crappy. And half written. So! I'm rewriting chapter 8 (and changing the title), but I thought I'd give you guys a little bit of a teaser for the old chapter 8 *evil laughter*. I'll post the full thing as a new thing after certain events occur.
