Nico walked up to Thalia as they shook hands, Everyone who he know was with her, even Percy. Percy gave Nico a smile, but the son of Hades, narrow his eyes, trying not to look at him. Ever since he'd confessed his feelings to him, Nico was avoiding him. Jason kept telling him, just talk to him like a normal friend, but Nico knew if he does that, he'll end up crying in front of Percy. It's been six months since they hadn't seen her after the war with the giants. Soon after they stop shaking hands, Jason ran up to his sister, giving her a big hug.

"Hey, little brother." Thalia greeted. "How's it going?"

"Nothing much." Jason shrugged. "You?"

"The same...except." Thalia hesitated.

"Except?"

"Artemis has been acting a bit weird lately. Actually, for the last three months."

"What do you mean?" Nico asked.

"I really don't know." Thalia confessed. "Artemis won't say anything. She just said we're going to camp and after Capture the Flag, we're leaving. She just said she had a little business to do there."

"So, you guys are only staying here for one day?" Jason exclaimed

"Basically." Thalia nodded.

Nico crossed his arms. Artemis had been acting weird of three months? three months ago was when Kiba came to camp and Nico has been keeping track. What kind of business would Artemis want here? Does she needs to speak to Chiron?

"Oh, Thalia, we got a new camper." Piper said. "Her name is Kiba."

"Kiba?" Thalia questioned. "Cool name. Where is she?"

Nico turned around, but Kiba wasn't there. The son of Hades frowned as he become very confused. Where's Kiba? Why did she left? She hasn't seen the Hunters before and why did she leave unexpectedly? Seriously, what's going on? Why did she disappeared like that? Nico knew this isn't like Kiba, but why is she acting so strange today? It's like something is really bothering her and the only persons he talks about her problems is Piper.

"Well, she's this new camper Nico found three months ago," Jason explained. "At first she didn't like it here and sort of attack us, but now she cooled down. Her powers is transforming into a wolf."

Thalia chuckled. "Weird, that's Artemis's power too. I guess she's Lupa's daughter then?"

Nico shook this head. "She hasn't been claimed for three months."

Thalia frowned. "That's weird. Percy, I thought the gods would claim all of their children."

"I know, but it looks like this one doesn't want to keep its promise." Percy pouted.

"Whoever daughter she is, I think she'll be good as a Hunter." Thalia smiled. "Where is she? I want to give her my card."

"She might be at the arena or target practice." Nico answered. "That's where she normally trains. If she's not there, then look in the woods."

"Thalia!" a voice shouted.

Everyone turned around as they saw Artemis. She looked the same as usual. A appearance of a twelve year old girl with a moon tiara on her head. Artemis seemed to be furious about something as she crossed her arms. Everyone stood back. This is the first time Nico had seen Artemis in a really bad mood. He's not sure what's making her mad, but whatever it is, she needs to calm down.

"Y-Yes?" Thalia asked, nervously.

"Come." Artemis ordered. "We need to set our belongings into my cabin."

"Okay, but my friends were about to let me meet a new camper named, Kib-" Thalia began to explained.

"No!" Artemis shouted as her voice echoed through the camp. "First luggage and then the camper."

Thalia nodded. "Yes, Artemis."

Thalia gave her friends a hug. Then she sprinted off to Artemis as she carried her bags to her cabin. Piper, Nico,and Jason walked to the arena to see if Kiba was there, but when they got there, she wasn't. So they went to the target practice, but like what happened at the arena, she wasn't there either. Nico wondered where that little wolf can be! It's not like she can run away from here...actually never mind, Nico did ran away from camp, so there is a possible chance she could run away. They went to the Hermes cabin and there, sleeping on the bed was Kiba. Piper became very confused as she rubbed her neck. Jason raised an eyebrow, while Nico sighed with relived. Kiba's powers were on, but it only showed her wolf ears and claws.

"I guess she's very tired." Piper said. "I mean, she trained none stop for the last three months. She needs some rest."

"Yeah you're right." Jason said. "I'm going to see if Thalia is staying at my cabin, Piper. I'll see you at the canoe lake."

"Okay, but don't try frying the nymphs again." Piper joked.

Jason chuckled as he blushed a bit. "Okay, come on Nico."

"Why me?" Nico demanded.

"Because I want a man to man talk!" Jason hissed.

Jason pulled Nico by his jacket as they got out of the cabin. Piper sat on the edge of the bed, sighing to herself and crossing her arms. She stared at the sleeping Kiba.

"You know you can stop faking now." Piper pointed out.

Kiba's eyes popped opened. She got up from her bed. She lower her head so no one can see her angry eyes. Piper placed her arm around her shoulders to comfort her. Kiba's wolf ears shrunk down into human ears, including her claws, and tail as well. She clenched her fist as she stared at the Artemis cabin from the window. She saw her mother as she smiled kindly to her Hunters. Kiba gnashed her teeth, being very upset and angry by the sight of the woman who never loved her.

"Are you going to be okay, Kiba?" Piper asked softly.

Kiba nodded. "Yeah, just bring me food when dinner starts. I don't want to see her face, yet."

"Just put on a brave face." Piper said as she tried to use a bit of her charmspeak. "She might pretend you're not here."

"I know my own mother." Kiba sighed. "That's what she'll do. She'll ignored me for the rest of my life anyway. When Capture the Flag starts in seven hours, I'll be ready. I want to make her see how much pain she puts into me."

"Kiba." Piper began to say.

"No I mean it." Kiba said. "I swear I'll make her pay!"
