As the miko took the jewel for the hanyou, warmth seemed to spread through it. Changing the once dull jewel into a brilliant pearl. However, as the Jewel brighten, the miko's eyes seem to dull and she froze as if time had stopped.

"Hello, young miko," a voice right behind her had her turn around in fright.

"It's alright," the woman continued holding up her hands as to prove that she wasn't a threat. The woman had on a long pink dress. Her dark hair hung loose with only a bow holding in it place.

"Who…who are you?" the young miko asked.

A look of confusion flash on the older miko's face for a moment, before understanding drew her lips into a small smile.

"Do you not remember me?"

the question surprise her, for she had never seen this person before. All she could remember was HIM and then the hanyou and his group of friends. With a shake of her head, another thought entered her mind.

"What's a miko?"

"It is what we are," the older miko stated proudly.

"I don't understand," the young miko confess.

"We help those in need, purified demons that are causing havoc, and hold great wisdom…in at least our world."

"What do you mean our world?"

"We are from another world then this one. When you, and your friends, put that last piece of tainted jewel shard with the rest of the Jewel. Naraku was able to make his wish."

"I don't understand how that could be possible."

"Through dark magic, Naraku put a curse on the Jewel. It would fulfill his wish and enslave the other. Which, it turned out to be you."

"Although, something happen that he didn't expect. Inuyasha was able to hold on to the Jewel. And because of this he was able to hold on to his memories. Even when the rest of your group forgot," the older miko explained.

"What do you mean he didn't forget?" the young miko asked.

"Inuyasha didn't get his memories replace. He kept his from the other world. The Jewel protected them from Naraku's evil plan."

"What does this mean?" the young miko asked feeling a little overwhelm about the situation.

"It means that thanks to Inuyasha you have away to return to our world," the older miko explain gleefully.

"How do we do that?"

"When he had made his plan, he didn't count on the Jewel coming with, and Inuyasha keeping his memories," the older miko continue to explain. "He had assumed that the Jewel would disappear and everyone would be cast off into different direction. That they would never form the bond that they had had."

"How does this help us?" the young miko questioned.

"It helps you because now you have a way to defeat him once and for all."

Just as the hanyou was about to start panicking about the vacant look in his mate's eyes, she seemed to just blink the look away.

"What wrong?" she asked noticing how close he was to her.

"What happen?" he asked instead.

"I'm not sure…" she started, but hesitated thinking over everything that had just happen when she took the Jewel. Slowly she told him everything that the older miko told her.

She was somewhere between consciousness and dream. peace still hover over her as she thought back to the vision she had had. It was just so perfect. Her family was all together and safe. She didn't want to leave.

However, reality was creeping in. the seer knew that she didn't have a choice, she was not safe. Her family was not safe. And she had no idea where she was. It was with that thought that she didn't know what was happening.

"Think" she whispered inside her mind, trying to figure out the last that she remembered.

She remembered that she was capture with Kagome. HE had taken them to a dungeon. Before deciding last minute to take her. From there HE had dragged her to what she had assume was a torture room. Then HE had, unsuccessfully, try to get information out of her.

"What else," she prob.

But no matter what. She couldn't remember. It was with the realization that had her sitting up, wide wake. Which she instantly regretted as the pain flowed through her.

Through the pain, she felt a pair of hands gently push her back down. Though the haze of pain, she was able to make out a familiar voice.

"Sango, please lay back down and rest" a soft pleading voice said, "You're safe."

With a small sigh, she laid back down. Though she didn't know where sg is or how she got there. Although she did know that her family was with her as unconsciousness claim her again.

"You fools. How could you let them escaped?" The evil hanyou demanded of his minions.

"We don't know how they escaped," stated a random minion nervously.

"Where is Kangura?" HE said looking around.

"No one can find her nor the vampress since the escape." Another minion said.

Turning to the first demon in front of him. Naraku throw out of hand and torn a hole into the unseeing demon.

"How could this happen! I was so close to breaking her!"

He knew that if he had pressed a little more, he would know everything that the seer knew. If it wasn't for the fact that the she needed to recover a little before continuing, he would have all his answers.

A smile creeped onto his face as the thought of the next time that he would get his hands on these girls. He would get everything he wanted…and more.

The monk was sitting by the fire, watching over the sleeping seer. He hadn't gotten a lot of sleep since they had split up with the girls. His heart seemed to stop for a second when he first saw the seer. Thinking that wasn't unconscienced…but dead.

He wasn't sure why that thought made him feel so sick to his stomach. Though he hadn't known her long, he couldn't explain the way that he felt towards her.

Movement interrupt his thoughts, as his eyes travel back to the seer. Getting up, her went over to her side. She was tossing and turning, but didn't seem to be waking up.

"Shh…your safe," he whispered as he picked up the blanket that fell to the floor.

Covering her back up, he sighed in relief. If she was dreaming, then that had to mean that she would wake soon…Or so he hoped.

"Are you sure about this?" he asked his mate.

"No…Yes… I don't know…But this is what I was told…. Do you think it will work?" she asked hesitantly.

"I'm not sure…" he said thinking it over, "But I don't like it."

"I don't either," she whispered.

"Then let's find another way," the hanyou said.

"I don't think there is one," she said, "But we have to get rid of him. Or we will never be safe."

"What if we tried something else?" the hanyou asked desperately.

"And if it doesn't work. And he gets a hold of me and Sango again…What if we don't come back next time?"

"I won't let that happen," he said as he stood and started to pace.

"But you won't be able to stop it," she said it softly but that didn't stop him from hearing it.

And he knew that she was right. If she was taken again, he wasn't sure that, there would be an escape. And that is what was worrying him about. He didn't want her anywhere near HIM, but that is what she wanted to do.

"We should head back," she said not sure what else to say.

With the thoughts of what the hanyou and miko had just told her, she didn't know what to believe…Or if she even dared to believe. But she couldn't deny what she feels toward the hanyou. And the small hope that what they said was true.

Never having experience any of these feelings that this hanyou and his group make her feel. Everything that she had ever known was pain and fear…But he was saying that this wasn't true…That she had known happiness and love…And she wished that she would know it again.
